How are we handling HP, roll or take the average?

Average.
I’m interested if there’s still room!
Djinni Warlock if you’ll be okay with it. ^_^

Sure! I know Rune Alchemist is also planning on playing a Warlock (Fathomless) but I am cool with two warlocks in the party.

Plus, warlock patrons are going to be interesting to run in this campaign setting.
Tir na Og. Translating to "Land of the Young", this was one of the one of the largest of the shared realms on the Outer Planes, nestled within the heart of the Outlands and bordering the large river of Tir na Thuinn. It was the home of the majority of the Celtic pantheon, a very loosely tied together group of gods lead by the Dagda. Each of the gods within owned their own part of the land, and while each part had its own rules and quirks, they were unified by a few principles. The most notable was the land has no cities, just settlements - with the largest holding a population of about 3,000. Most of these of these citizens would have likely been here their entire lives, with only a few displaced outsiders settling within, likely being called there by its natural beauty and more pastoral way of living. While not all the gods there are deities of nature, you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise as the the land was full of forests and sprawling meadows, and possessed a large community of druids.

... Now, you may have noticed I have been speaking in past tense.

Less than a week ago, something happened which deeply affected the multiverse. It happened quietly and suddenly. The land of Tir na Og and river of Tir na Thuinn disappeared. They weren't attacked, they weren't destroyed, there wasn't some great cataclysm the befell them. The land in which Tir na Og once stood is now completely empty, with no signs that anything ever occupied it to begin with.

As you can imagine, the disappearance of a realm containing a diverse group of gods which are worshipped across several Planes has caused quite a stir. While those with more distance might have yet to realise what has even happened, the city of Sigil, sat at the top of an infinitely tall tower which lies at the exact centrepoint of the Outlands, certainly noticed, and caused a great amount of unrest among the various Factions, who are constantly struggling for power within the city.

You might be a member of one of these Factions, sent by the leader to investigate. Maybe you are a worshiper of one of the deities of Tir na Og - or a fos who associates with them - who wants to uncover the truth of what happened to your god. Maybe you're just curious about how most of a pantheon just ups and disappears. Either way, your character is on-route to the site where Tir na Og once stood, ready to investigate.

Welcome to the Multiverse, guys. I have been plotting this thing since I first got the 5e Planescape boxset last Christmas, and while I was originally planning on running the adventure that came with that boxset "Turn of Fortune's Wheel" as my first attempt to DM a campaign, the more I learned about the setting (I ended up purchasing some 2e material and third party stuff to fill in some of the blanks) the more this idea started to take root and refused to let go. I'll be covering more of the lore of Planescape when I make the OOC so if you're a little lost about certain things, don't worry, I'm going to do my best to try and explain as much of this setting as I can.

A few things to note:
- We're using DnD 5e and point buy. We will be starting at level 3, and I will allow anyone who wants to use the Tasha's rule of assigning stat points regardless of race.
- This is my first time DMing DnD. While I do think I have a grasp of the knowledge of the game, please be patient with me.
- Looking for 4 to 7 players. Maybe 8 if there is a lot of interest.
- This game is set in the multiverse, which encompasses all officially released DnD material (and even some third party and homebrew stuff, but that's detailed below). That means your character use any officially released material. Yes, that even means Eberron and Magic: The Gathering. Yes, I am aware those worlds technically have their own cosmology, but I also think those settings are fun and I will do my best to make it work.
- I am open to homebrew stuff, but please run it by me first.
- Unearthed Arcana is similar to homebrew. Run it by me. If a UA version of something that has been officially published, I would prefer you use the officially published version. However, if it is something like the School of Theurgy Wizard or the Circle of Twilight Druid etc I will consider it.
- This roleplay is PG13. If there is anything you specifically do not want in this RP, please feel free to PM me a list. I want to keep this a comfortable environment for everyone, including myself.
- Relating to the rule above, because of the nature of the setting, it might go surreal at times and might even feature some mild horror imagery and themes, particularly in the vein of psychological and cosmic horror. Gods, supernatural beings, religion and religious attitudes also feature within in this RP. However, if at any point a player feels like it goes too far in a direction they are not comfortable with, either tell me in the OOC or PM me immediately.
@Guardian Angel Haruki @Digizel Anything you guys want your characters to respond before I write Rudrick's response?
@XxFellsingxX

And so the plotting commences!

I rolled a 9 to study Rudrick, how could Skobeloff get Rudrick to elaborate further on the subject of Garrock?

Unlike a lot of times where you have asked "How do I get so-and-so to tell me what's going on", this one is super simple for me to answer, given what Skobeloff already knows and that, well, this is Rudrick.

Rudrick just mentioned that if Garrock hasn't mentioned him, he hasn't mentioned any other family member... except Skobeloff already knew about three from talking with Garrock earlier: Sunglow, Kurkar and Topaz.

And he knows that Sunglow is probably very old, old enough that Garrock states she probably doesn't have much longer before she ascends. He also was told that Sunglow is in Semscale, the same House Rudrick is in.

So yeah... mention Sunglow, basically xD
Heliotrope paused in examining her patients to look over at Fellwing. "Oh, it's quite alright," she said. "It's refreshing to find drakes interested in my work." She gave a small, somewhat dry chuckle at the Seer's suggestion that she try and get a nap in. "Well, if the Moons allow it." However, she did seem appreciative of the concern, and a slight smile remained on her face for a little while after.

Kyte looked a little alarmed when Fellwing addressed them, as if they had been so caught up in their worries they forgotten about most everything else in the room. Tamba coming over to comfort them seem to have brought their attention back slightly, but they still unfocused. They nodded awkwardly in response to the black drake's words. "I'll, err. talk to her when she gets back," the winged drake muttered.

Garrock turned his head towards Fellwing in slow, deliberate fashion. "Your first impression of my sibling was him trying to tackle me while I was carrying an injured dragon," he said. "I don't know, Kebros, does that seem like the actions of a responsible adult to you?" His tone was nowhere near as acidic as it had been when they'd been on the island, more flat and monotone as if the reasons for his annoyance towards Rudrick should have been obvious to everyone.

There was a pause at Skobeloff's question, as if Rudrick was genuinely considering how much he should say. "Just family matters, really," he said. "If Garrock hasn't mentioned me, I doubt he's really spoken of family at all. He's not really close to any of us these days." He gives a little shake of his head. "Believe it or not it wasn't always like that. He wasn't always like that but..." He opens his mouth as if to elaborate, but all that comes out is a deep, weary sigh, as if he doesn't quite have the words for what he wants to say. After a moment of just letting that sigh hang in the air, he draws himself back up to his full height and turns his head back to drakes. "But never mind about all that."

He listened to Shieldwing's response and managed a chuckle at his observations on Garrock. "Yes, that sounds about right," he said. "Patience never was a virtue of his."
Jill Brookes

Location: Abandoned Stellar Toy Co. Factory Mentions: @Savo @Rune_Alchemist @Vertigo

Jill let out a small sigh of relief when she succeeded in catching the Magnemite. However, instead of running to collect her newly captured Pokemon, she instead went over to Aster, who was on her hands and knees on the floor and ever so often would shake herself, as if trying to shake the static away. It didn't seem to be helping.

"Hey, hey, hey, you're okay!" Jill said, getting on her knees beside her partner. She attempted to embrace the Aipom, only to pull away when making contact caused her to take a small shock. "Ow!" she exclaimed, rubbing her arm. It didn't hurt much, but it had certainly startled. Once she'd recovered from that small fright, she looked back at Aster, who sluggishly attempting to rise to her feet. "I... don't know what to about this."

She didn't have much time to worry about that, however, as Yuu and Jojo approached her, Yuu addressing in a gruff manner, which... she was starting to feel was probably his default. He did hand her a potion, though, advising her to heal her new Magnemite, who Jojo promptly handed to her. She took both these objects from him and nodded. "Okay... thank you." He also mentioned they had to find a paralyze heal, which if Jill recalled correctly was a type of medicine for Pokemon. She had no idea what those looked like but she'd keep an eye out for them anyway.

She turned her attention back to the Pokeball into her hand, taking a moment to look at it as if in awe... and with, perhaps, some apprehension. She'd never battled and then caught a Pokemon before, and she had no idea how the Magnemite, who had previously been an enemy, would react to being a new team member.

Well, she wouldn't know until she tried.

She stood up and took a few steps away from Aster and the other trainers, not wanting the Magnemite to lash out at them if they were still angry. With a deep breath, she opened the ball and released the magnet Pokemon.

In a flash of light, it was now floating a foot or so away from her, and for a moment stared at her, a little stunned. Jill tucked the pokeball back into her pocket before awkwardly waving at her new teammate. "Hi," she said after a moment. "Err, I'm Jill... nice to meet you. Please don't zap me." She held out the potion. "I'm going to heal you now if that's okay."

The magnemite just kind of stared at her for a moment, but didn't make any hostile movement, so Jill assumed it was okay with this. She quickly started applying the potion.
Post altered. Hope that's alright now.
No worries. All good! ^_^

I did not mention what the building was in my previous post. I was thinking of bringing it up in my next DM post. ^^"

For now, it is a clear obstacle in the chase. XD

Do I have enter the building to get to the balloon or can I go around it?

That's hilarious.

Also, I should quickly mention: Jub and Brutrumukk are already at the end of the bridge at this official start of the chase. ^^" Where does he go?

... oh shit sorry, err, I'll fix that in a moment.

Just to clear things up: there seems to be like... some kind of building on D4, which is between us and the balloon. Did you mention what that was before and I just missed that?
