I think it'd be kinda funny if one these older characters is a washed-up trainer who took on the League Challenge once before, lost, and is now having another go at it.


Ha, I was considering that myself but decided against it. Im trying to find something that's fun and Kalos specific like Rhyhorn racer or something.

...Or maybe someone who came back to Kalos after some time away in Unova where he may or may not have served a misguided stint in Team Plasma...

I think I’ll have an OOC up tomorrow, and André’s CS so you know the guy you’re gonna have to be friends with.

Age range of the characters will be 19-22. I hope that works for all of you.

A little of both tbh. I will be using plot beats from the games, but given the cast of characters, some things will likely change. Call it a reimagining.


I'm usually a fan of original plots as opposed to re-using pre-existing ones (just preference, not trying to yuck anybody's yum), but a reimagining strikes enough of a balance that I should be alright. Consider me on board.

What would be a good starter level, 5 ish or down to 1?
Or... are levels going to be a bit arbitrary over narrative stuff?

Obviously for the sake of balance/fairness, if a trainer is challenging the league for a second time, they would be pulling an Ash Ketchum and committing to starting fresh with a new team. Minus perhaps their original starter as the sole holdover from the first team.

Hello, as Crimson mentioned I’m interested. As I don't really think the age of the new trainers matter. After Scarlet/Violet where there is a child as an elite four member and older adult students in the trainer school, pokemon logic doesn't really make sense anyway. So if a bunch of adults were like: “I decided to do the trainer thing now” it doesn't seem that impossible to me.
