I'm here my friend- Erik can see Charles has been exhausted with him away. Erik thinks that Charles has been overdoing it and pushing it too far. One night Erik finds Charles collasped in his office from exhaustion and illness.
Erik ends up having to look after his friend who is very sick and weak.
