Thank you for the very quick reply, especially after I gave you such a long wait. Unfortunately, it is probably going to be another while before I get you another reply. I've hit the summer months, and I spend much of it on the road, unable to access internet except through my phone. I'll get you a reply whenever I can, but I don't want to make promises for either consistency or rapidity.

I'm still great at this point. I love Tahaan and Aysus far more than I was expecting to. Simply not having many (read: any) chances to get online. Most of the rest of the summer is going to be like that. Sorry.

At this point, I think... matter and space might be a good thing. It is the first really big step towards creating life and death. If we continue with the patterns thus far, Aysus would get matter, and Tahaan space. How does that sound to you?

Well, I'm online for one evening, at least! Although it is very doubtful that I'll get a chance to reply, I do have a couple quick things for us to think about while you are waiting on me.

The first thing, which came to mind as I read your last post. Tahaan mentioned that it could "hear" noise. I get that it is just a word with which we are familiar, and for that reason we use it, but I want to make sure that we are differentiating between sound and hearing.

The second thing: At some point Aysus and Tahaan are going to start building a world. I have lots of ideas about this (some of which include them restarting the universe to build something more conducive to life) but I have one thing that I want to talk about before we get to that point. How... mapped out should our world be. I have an absolute obsession with maps, and if you let me I've got a beautiful process in mind to create our world. It'll be damn funky, but that sounds like Aysus and Tahaan. However, there are a lot of people who just aren't interested in plotting out the world that fully, and I don't quite have a taste of how you would like to do it yet. So, I ask.

Yes, hearing and how Tahaan senses the sound are completely different things. He does not have the faculties to "Hear" but he can sense all the changes in his own way, and hear is the best word I could come up with :P

I like building worlds, and if you wanna map what we make out, I'll say go ahead. As long as you don't ask me to be exacting in my square mileage, my using vague numbers as reference for most things since math kills my head. I like going into intricate detail about certain locations, quite often just throwing in "There's a row of mountains" then when our characters are there, sculpting them out and adding the caves and fissures and stuff :P I don't mind mapping the basic outlines of things, but I will request we save the fine detail until our characters are, say, actually traveling across the world on some adventure. I don't wanna lock us into anything then want to make some major changes later because the RP calls for it. . .So yeah, as long as we aren't going into exactly how high said mountain is, I'm good with making the world, filly and completely :P

Since Aysus and Tahaan are going to be sculpting this world at the same time, I wanted to try something, and see how it worked, before we got to the point where it is necessary to actually use it. If I gave you a blank piece of oddly shaped canvas, would you be willing to fill it with elevations in a way that would appeal to Tahaan? Not specifics, just graded color, like this?

I guess I could try. If I fail at that, do you think I could describe it visually and you fill in the gradients?

... Sure. It doesn't need to look like a world, with mountains and valleys and anything like that, it just needs to be clean transitions. You could make it completely random, if you like. Ultimately, it is all going to get jumbled up anyways. Hopefully you'll like what I do.

Anyways. I'm home tomorrow, so I'll start on a reply and think a little bit better on this map. If it doesn't work, we have the time to fix things before we get to that point. That is why I wanted to tackle it early.

Well, I can hardly blame you, seeing as it took me over two weeks to get you a reply. But I'm guessing that was a mass message anyways.

It is a little shorter than I would have liked, but anything else would have felt like filler. Ah, well.

M'kay, so, Tahaan will be responsible for wrapping up the nothing into "Space" and that would leave Aysus to bundle up the threads into "Matter". t's up to you how you wanna do it, but I'd like to stick with the idea that they have to do it at the same time. It is a huge step, and I think it needs to be made all at once or the chances for collapse are far greater than one could imagine. . . . .

Maybe my morning brain isn't keeping up, but I don't quite know what you are expecting right now. How is matter and space any different from light and dark, or any of the other things they have created? How is there a single spot from which the threads emerge? And if they weave all of the threads into matter, which seems to be what you are expecting, how would they ever make anything else new?

If you hate the idea, then we can change it, but if you wanna know my thinking, here we go.

All things in the universe, if I recall my Sci-Fi correctly, is made of two thing, Matter, and Energy. Our last set goal, was to make Matter, and Space. In other words, something and nothing. However in doing that, we would be changing the very nature of the entire universe. Now, before you say we already did that, hear me out. Three of the things we've made have basically inert, nearly completely dependent on use to do anything. The only thing that seems to do anything without us, is Light. However that light, need us to be created, and without the constant flow of energy around it, would likely go out, because even if we made it, it is not a self sustaining thing, because it is not made of 'Something' yet. Or should I say, there is nothing around yet to "Cast" the light. The sun make light, light bulbs make light, right now, light is little more than a concept.

Anyways, back to my thought. Science crap: My idea revolves around the concept that all things in the universe are created of Matter and Energy, so the opposite of all that would be Anti-matter(space where there is no matter(I know that's not what anti-matter is in Star Trek terms, but meh. . . Or is it?)) and. . . .? I fell on that for a bit, so, I came up with a different formula. I can see out universe being made up of Mtter and Positive energy, and Anti-matter(Space) and Negative energy. Setting aside the whole idea that Matter and Anti-matter can not meet (Since we don't have to follow true sci-fi rules in our Sci-fi :P) this whole idea would open the door to converting Energy to Matter, and vice versa, as we go along.

Just in case, I thought up some examples. Sound is created through the vibration of Matter, and is silenced through traveling through Space. The vibrating matter uses Energy to vibrate, but once it is used, the energy vanishes. I know the laws of the universe says that everything flows in an endless cycle, but if you think about it, where does that bio energy go after powering your muscles, turning into heat, and floating into the air? If we crate our universe in this idea I cam up with, the heat would dissipate into negative energy, and would be used for negative energy purposes. This way, we don't have to worry(As I was for a little while) about how negative energy will still have a place with all this matter and (To my eyes) positive energy comes about. A human growing? Positive energy/matter. A human aging? Negative energy/matter.

Now, back to the threads themselves. If the threads are converted to creating Matter, and by default, positive energy, then the spaces around them would be given purpose, and given a shape of their own, perhaps ribbons(*Wink* *Wink* *Smile*) and would take on the qualities of Anti-matter(Space) and negative energy, making working with bother easier and a more tangible thing. Right now, we both know Light and Sound are far more tangible than Darkness and Silence, if we work both of those into their rightful places, I can see them inspiring our beings into understanding better the world around them, and taking away a touch of the unknown so it becomes less disturbing for both of them.

But, again, if you hate my idea and don't want to be so grandiose with it, I can change my post and make things a heck of a lot simpler. . . .I won't mind too much since we are creating this world together and I should know by now not to suddenly make big decisions like this without you. I just didn't wanna end up with another month long discussion and was hoping it would make sense to you without explaining, and perhaps you would throw in your own ideas about all this too. I had this funny visual of the "Nothing" taking form and Tahaan poking at this somehow familiar but odd new thing he didn't intend for them to make exactly :P
