Question, the map appears to have tanks. Are they actually tanks? Secondly can either we or guards end up in those things?

No, no. Something like that would be noted in the brief. All important information would be.
Those are just generic objects. My best guess is they are disassembled / under repair / contraction directed blast charge units, used for blowing entry holes into asteroids.

I'm toying with the idea of something like that, though currency...

I guess you'll have to tell me the kind of new gear you want, and I can assign you something of the sort based on the kind of foe we just defeated and how well it was all performed.

We can give it a go, but if we don't finish you can always have your character 'hang back' to secure the insertion zone in your down-time. It's no problem. I'd say get involved, if we don't finish by then, then we'll find a way to get your character out safely.

SO what would everybody say to a system like this?

At the end of a mission, people can PM me the kind of gear they wish to 'scavenge' from the mission. Then, upon completion, I will award gear that is similar to the requested stuff based on mission performance?
