Appearance: Leo is a tall young man, standing at 6'0". He is physically fit and quite strong, with a toned athletic physique that he is quite proud of. Due to living in a tropical place most of his life, and because he often goes outdoors, his skin is lightly tanned. His face is round, free of blemishes, and rather boyish. Marked by large expressive blue eyes, a small nose, and a usually smiling mouth. These features give him a rather youthful appearance. He has short, close cropped black hair, with messy bangs that cover his forehead, and go to his eyebrows. A strand of hair on top of his head always stands up, no matter how much he tries to comb it down. Except for the top of his head, and eyebrows, the rest of his upper body is void of any hair.

For clothing, Leo generally wears what is comfortable. Usually, whatever he pulls out of his closet that day. It usually includes a pair of jeans or cargo shorts, and sneakers or sandals on his feet. He can often be found without a shirt. This is because he was rather scrawny when he was younger, so now that he's put on a little muscle, he likes to show off the results. When he must wear a shirt, it will usually be a skintight tank top, or something low cut/not buttoned/zipped up all the way, and without a shirt underneath. He's not comfortable wearing cloaks or heavy clothing that covers him up too much. He will dress up for formal occasions and colder days when he needs to, but he usually takes it right off when he's able. He wears a pair of aviator goggles on top of his head. He doesn't use them, he just thinks they look cool. His favorite outfit is a red, form fitting tank top, with black stripes on the sides, and a zipper down the front on the top, and a pair of jeans held up by a belt on the bottom. His sneakers are red and black, and have wheels in the soles. The wheels can pop in and out when Leo puts weight on his heels, allowing them to function like roller skates. He carries his things in a simple pink backpack.

Personality: Leo is a bright, cheerful person, with an optimistic view on life. He can often be found with a smile on his face, even when things look bleak. As such, he often makes jokes, and does silly things when the situation is tense to lift people's spirits, but his attempts to make people laugh sometimes backfire. He believes there is some good in everyone, and for that, he is very trusting of others. A genuine nice guy, he is always willing to help someone in need. Often putting the needs of others ahead of his own. Sometimes though, he can be too nice, to the point of gullibility, and people often take advantage of him for it. Leo is very outgoing and social. He likes meeting new people, and making new friends. He is not afraid to strike up a conversation with a random stranger. Being used to having to watch over his little sisters, he's become accustomed to taking care of people. He is loyal, empathetic, and very protective of those he cares about, making him a good friend to have.

Leo is very energetic. So much so, that it is very difficult for him to sit still and concentrate on one thing for long periods of time. Leo lives in the moment, and isn't one for planning for the future, prefering to deal with things as they happen. Because of this, he likes to actually do stuff, instead of sitting there reading about it. While he is able to think quick on his feet during intense situations. he often acts impulsively, and jumps to conclusions without thinking first. Unlike a lot of guys he's known, Leo is the type of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. His feelings are there for everyone to see, and he's pretty easy to read. For example he cries openly during the endings of sad movies, and is affectionate towards close friends. Due to his cheerful nature, it is usually difficult to anger him. That said, Leo is not perfect, and is prone to having a bad day just like everyone else. He has really bad angry outbursts where he just lashes out at the most appropriate target. Leo isn't one to hold grudges for very long, and is very quick to forgive people.

Leo has an affinity for cute things, and is not ashamed about it at all. One of his favorite things at the moment, is the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, which he watches regularly with his youngest sister. He is an unabashed Brony, he has a collection of merchandise from the show, and often makes references to it in everyday conversation. He's aware how silly it might look for someone his age to be liking a show aimed at little girls, and generally he has a good sense of humor about the whole thing. (However, he does get defensive if someone makes fun of him for it.) He's had bad experiences with bullies as a kid, and he fears having to experience that again. He likes fantasy and fairy tales, and he developed most of his idealistic beliefs from them. He also likes other things some would consider childish as well. He can cook well, due to having to make dinner for the family when his mom was working. He particularly enjoys making (and eating) desserts, because he's found that sharing them with others is a great way to bond with people. though he keeps it in moderation.

He likes many different kinds of Pokemon, but his preferences are things he considers cute. His favorite types are Fighting and Fairy, but he doesn't train those types exclusively.

History: Leo was born in Petalburg City, Hoenn. He was the oldest of three siblings, and the only male among the three. His parents' relationship became strained after his father, Leroy, lost his job shortly after the youngest daughter was born, and the family started experiencing financial troubles. It was not helped by Leroy turning to Wine to drown his sorrows, which worried the rest of the family. Leroy and his wife, Luisa, often argued loudly during the night. While things never escalated to physical violence, but the yelling still made the three kids uncomfortable. Despite the drama, Leo tried to put on a brave face, and hoped things would work out in the end. Eventually, Luisa got a promotion at her job that made up for the loss of income, but by then, the damage was done, and Leroy filed for divorce.

Leo currently lives with his mom, and his younger sisters Lilly and Lucy. He is much closer to his mother than with his father. They were not wealthy, but they weren't poor either. Being a single parent, Luisa often had to work long hours, leaving Leo responsible for looking after his sisters, and taking care of household things while she worked. Unlike a lot of other boys though, Leo didn't really mind this, and actually enjoyed it. As a result of this, he became accustomed to taking care of people. He also learned a lot of domestic skills, and became very good at cooking.

He was a rather scrawny child, and he was often picked on by bullies who thought he was weaker than them. It did not help that he was a sensitive kid, and he had a taste for things that are usually considered girly by others. He would come home with bruises on a regular basis. His father did not help matters by suggesting that living in a house full of girls was turning him into one. While all the bullying upset him, he kept up a cheerful demeanor in front of others, not wanting to burden them with his problems. He believed that if he thinks positively, things would get better. Even though Leo admits to himself that he doesn't get along with his dad, and to this day avoids talking about him to others, he still doesn't hate him. He clings to the hope that they will be able to reconcile if he ever gets sober.

He did have one friend in his youth. A Togepi he got as egg from his mom as a gift on his tenth birthday. Leo nicknamed the newly hatched Togepi, Lucky due to hearing about Togepi's being good omens. The two of them bonded quickly due to their similar personality traits, and became inseparable. This Togepi was the first true friend Leo ever had.

Around the time Leo entered puberty, things started to change. His mother announced that her office was transferring her to the Kalos region, and that the family would be moving there. His situation began to improve when he started High School. Deciding that he no longer wanted to be a wimp, and a constant bullying victim. He started working out and getting into sports, which resulted in him putting on a little muscle, and making new friends. Due to his social personality, he quickly became quite popular on campus, particularly with other girls. He also maintained good grades. Life was actually starting to look up. Despite how well things were going, he didn't let it get to his head. He still remained the same sensitive kid he always was.

After he finished school, Leo wasn't entirely sure what he was going to do with his life, and for the first time, he started thinking about his future. He didn't spend too much time thinking, since he was now legally an adult, he decided to take this opportunity to try the whole Pokemon Trainer thing.

Appearance: Hunter has a tattoo inked on his right arm that flows into his chest. He prefers dark colors in his choice of clothing and owns a motorcycle. He also wears a pair of dog tags around his neck and a silver watch on his left hand. He has an athletic frame. He's 6'2'' and his eyes are green. His hair is black.

He wears a black jacket. He actually really likes jackets and wears fashionable, tight fit jeans. He wears high-top sneakers. He tends to wear muscle shirts underneath his leather jackets and he wears aviator shades. His skin tone is tan.

Personality: One word to sum it all up for Hunter, he's cold and arrogant as Hell (okay, two words but whose counting?). He thinks himself above everyone else and although he won't be too blunt as to say it, he will single out others' mistakes. He doesn't easily forget and certainly won't forgive - normally. It doesn't take much to lose all of the trust you have gained from him and it will take you a monumental amount of effort to recoup it which might explain his lack of friends. Although he does have acquaintances, he doesn't necessarily consider the next guy to greet him on the bus, his "friend." Despite his inner insecurities, Hunter does have a couple friends here and there; he's definitely not the type of person you wanna piss off much less have an enemy but if you do find yourself in his inner circle of those he trusts, you can bet he will set the world of fire to protect you. Regardless of what others may think, Hunter is always right by his own book and absolutely hates it when he's wrong.

Hunter is insensitive so don't go leaning on his shoulder if you need to shed some tears, it would be awkward for him and you. This isn't to say he won't offer a few words of encouragement but he has a very difficult time expressing himself, especially emotionally mostly because he can't quite put into words what goes through his mind. Some would say he possesses a problematic attitude but he simply calls it like he sees it and he's real about it. Screw backstabbing people, if Hunter needs to say something he'll go to your face and say it; he has nothing to hide. You should be advised against sharing personal information with him if you don't know him at that level mostly because he won't care. Certainly don't ask what you have no business knowing because chances are Hunter won't want to tell you where he grew up and such. If for whatever reason he feels the need to share anything about himself, he'll do it in his own terms and for sure in private. Those who have sought his friendship will tell you that Hunter is impressed through actions and rarely by words.

His arrogance aside, Hunter is by no means socially awkward, he will speak up to get his points across regardless of whose feelings he hurts. He won't speak to mindlessly insult others but at times, he might have a different opinion and you can guarantee he will voice it. Circumstances of life have hardened Hunter's outer shell, numbed him even, to become highly tolerant of physical pain. He doesn't complain about cuts or bruises but he will make a scene about you trying to get too close to his personal space. That said, first impressions leave a tremendous mark in his mind. Chances are he will treat you according to the context under which he meets you and it could be very difficult to replace that image. Due to the general control over his emotions, Hunter is great at making decisions under massive amounts of pressure and won't hesitate to do what needs to be done.

It should be noted that Hunter's greatest enemy is his own self. He takes failure too seriously and is highly obsessed with success. He will hate himself for his mistakes and will create walls between him and those that he does befriend (or befriend him, I should say) thinking he isn't capable of contributing. He doesn't like to be in situations of very little or no control, it drives him nuts to know that a group project depends on the effort everyone puts in.

The spotlight doesn't scare Hunter, he's indifferent to it and will perform excellently either way. He's not afraid to throw down in the middle of a crowd and as simple as that, he'll pick up his stuff and be on his way when done. Under normal circumstances, Hunter won't brag about his actions, actually he won't. However, he will tell you how things are gonna go down even if things don't actually turn out that way. He has an insatiable thirst for destruction of sorts. He's violent. He's addicted to the adrenaline rush of being hurled into the worst possible situations where success means pushing himself beyond his limits.

Despite his thick skin, Hunter suffers in the inside. He wishes he could get along with people but he just can't let go or rather, he can't trust so easily.

He has a huge ego but doesn't care for the mainstream, although he certainly has an asserted taste in what is fashionable according to him. He does seem like an older brother who constantly lectures on why you shouldn't do "x" or "y."

History: Hunter Crux was born and raised in New York City where he has spent most of his life. Although he lived a very privileged life, things seemed to be in a constant state of tension when it came to family matters. His father was a stock broker on Wall Street; the money Crux Sr. ranked in permitted Hunter's mother to stay at home to raise their only child. Hunter rarely saw or spent time with his father and the little time that he did see him consisted of extremely structured discipline and grooming to follow in his rigorous footsteps.

In the early years, Hunter grew up a quiet child that rarely seemed to attract or cause much trouble like other kids his age. At the care of his young mother most of the time, Hunter was well provided for in terms of basic nurturing but this seemed to slowly change as time went on. Elementary school was but a flash, he passed by like a ghost, unnoticed; still he stuck out like a sore thumb among his peers. There was a natural aura about him that radiated extreme control and self-confidence as his early achievements would prove. Despite the successes, he rarely accepted awards nor did he bother to partake in school celebrations (to which he was invited but always declined). In Hunter's young schooling phase, there was a professor that developed a mutual understanding with the enigmatic boy; this certain professor foretold that if Hunter did not change, no achievement in the world would prevent his ultimate downfall into the depths of his own self-destruction. Albeit not expressively told as such, the professor did phone home on several occasions inquiring about possible meets with Hunter's father - this never happened.

Hunter's teenage years were perhaps the one's filled with the most action. He formed an unforgiving physical routine as a manner of coping with his figurative inner demons. He joined a local mixed martial arts gym where he practiced both Muay Thai and traditional boxing. He's been in a few scraps at school, usually because of others and very much to their own expense.

In recent years, a natural rift occurred between Hunter and his father that further damaged their already explosive relationship. Hunter's mother was seemingly caught in the middle but ultimately sided with her husband when she failed to understand her own son. The young teenager began to 'let go' and numbed himself against social relationships thinking they''d all eventually sour like his own with his parents. Each day he wasted less and less effort in school but always stuck to the minimum required to get through for whatever reason, it remains unclear. Slowly but surely, a few people seemed to win his friendship; it wasn't easy at first due to the barrier he consistently held up in defense of his psyche but his guard eased with time.

Finally, in a fortunate turn of events, Hunter's father amassed enough capital to fund a huge venture in the East Coast. To this day, Hunter's father expects his son to follow in his glorious footsteps...
