Hey, I thought maybe the professor friend of Nick can be Claire's contact. :) Just a suggestion. If course she will recognize him, but Nick will be clueless

Okay I'm having the HARDEST time writing a response, and I have no idea why. Maybe because I'm having trouble picturing where they're at, or I can't think of anything in particular to add to the story and help it move along...I"m getting on it, sorry :(

Do you think that maybe the plot has gotten boring? Maybe I shouldn't have dragged their date longer. You can fast forward to dinner or the ball or something if you like. But I thought it would be a nice twist if Claire's contact and Nick knows each other all along.

Lol sorry there, my sibling was still logged in on my computer and I started typing to you on it lol anyway no. It bored at all! Its just not coming to me quickly, sorry about that. They also need time to fall in love...I do hope they have a moment where they realize they're good for one another ..

Do you want to have them stranded at Greenwich? Maybe they missed the last trip back so they're on their own with limited funds. You may skip the Observatory part if you like

Hm. Well here's my thing. I want them to find out about one another after they're for sure going to be in love. I feel like Claire's there, but then again HE'S on the good side, so it'll be easier for her. If he found something, do you feel like Nick could forgive her and want to help, or just condemn her at this point? Or does he need more time?

I'm thinking at the party someone will tip her off of who Nick is. The would was a giveaway, and maybe something else I'll think of. What do you think? She'll start to doubt herself even more, want to talk to him about it... this could be RIGHT after she got the information and transferred it or something?

No, I don't think he'll forgive her if he found out at this point, but he would give her a chance to redeem herself though silently. I think he should be in the stage wherein he's beginning to enjoy her company. He sweetie not to fall in love with her, but you and I know that he will eventually. There should be something that will make him realize how he's fallen for her. Hmmmm...

Maybe the professor will have his little investigation on who Nick really is, because he suspects Nick to be the same person he met on the night before Nick and Claire were wed. Or maybe one of his associates will do that. Can we introduce a side character at the ball? The associate and middleman. He can be the third party who'll get between Claire and Nick, the threat that will make Nick realize he doesn't want to lose her.

Tell me what you think.

yeah, I can bring in a side character. Or you can if you have somebody in mind.

I like that, though. And how about she doesn't actually do it? He realizes he doesn't want to lose her, and she doesn't give up the information...that's why she spends a lot of time with the middle man, he's trying to convince her to give it up (despite it being false information like we planned).

I just feel like if she does this, there's no way he can forgive her. I want her to have a redeeming quality after committing murder and lying so much for the wrong side. What do you think? After the party she confesses the next day or after however much time he needs to fall for her and asks for his help.

I think I used the wrong words. Maybe "I don't think he'll forgive her" is too strong a statement. :p It's just that Nick won't take her side, at least not yet. Instead, he would use her against the enemy. While doing so, he won't notice how deep he'd fallen for her until he thought he was about to lose her.

I think it'll be easier if she confessed, like she'll be a state witness or something. But how do you think she'll react when she finds out that he's been lying all along? Can he not reveal his real identity even after she told him that she's a spy?

Uh...I think she'll forgive him fairly easily. I mean she'll be angry when they get to sit down and talk, but she'll be so afraid of what he thinks of her and want forgiveness that it won't be an issue at first. It really all depends on how he treats her for the next day or two.

Okay. So she'll pass on the info, and be called in as a witness and confess. That the plan?
