The Doctor smiled and patted a spot on the bed "Sit with me and watch?" he had found some movie and seemed interested by it. He wanted somebody close by he could hug.
He felt miserable and vulnerable right now.

The Doctor was hugging her and he slept. He looked rather peaceful laying there, He could feel her touching his hair even as he slept and it was comforting.

The Doctor slept all night and he didn't wake up, whether Donna moved or not. He seemed to be breathing rather deeply. He was dreaming peacefully this time.
