It was getting late. It was a friday, so Adam didn't have to work in the morning. Then again, he only worked part time, so he only worked a few days a week.

Still, it was getting late, and Adam needed to rest. But before he did that, he needed to get a shower in. He opened the shower curtain to reveal....no shampoo or body wash.

Sighing, Adam grabbed his wallet and walked down the street to the nearest convenience store. He took down a bottle of Axe brand Shampoo and Body wash...but then checked the price tag to realize he didn't have enough money.

He walked home in despair, until he heard a whisper.

"Psst...you. Can I interest you in any watches?" said the whisper. It came from a nearby man in a trench coat. He was hiding in the alleyway, carrying a briefcase.

Adam walks into it and says "No thanks, sir."

The Gray Market dealer said "How about something else then? I've got a cheap chinese knock-off of almost anything you could ever want."

Adam nods. "Alright. How about Men's shampoo and body wash?"

The Gray Market dealer nodded and looked inside his briefcase. "All I've got is Hatchet brand women's shampoo and body wash."

Adam forks over some money. "Good enough."

He goes home and takes a shower with the stuff. Unfortunately, the stuff smells like stale strawberries, and it irritates his skin. Still, he is clean.

He goes to sleep afterwards. What he does not know is that the shampoo carried an entity known as 'Eve' into his body. She'll now be able to control and transform him at will. He might be in for a rude awakening.

How long had it been? Eve didn't know; trying to keep a sense of time in the eternal darkness was too draining. Draining and ultimately pointless. They said that knowledge equaled to power, but knowing exactly how screwed up she was couldn't change a damn thing about her situation. That didn't mean she hadn't tried, though. Eve had counted at first in a desperate attempt to engrave a sense of order in the chaos, but the giant numbers eventually caused her a depression. Every passing second only further rubbed in her face how helpless she was and cemented the obvious fact that nobody was going to liberate her from her helpless state. Of course. Why should they lift a finger to do something disinterested for once? 'Blood isn't water' was a nice proverb, but it didn't count with the possibility of having a family full of douchebags. Eve couldn't afford to pay for her freedom; her sentence was to be carried out in full length. And her prison? All-encompassing loneliness. Vacuum without bounds. Staleness. Just she and her thoughts. Buddhist monk might consider it a paradise, but Eve would have preferred amputation of her right arm; too bad she didn't have a limb to sacrifice anymore. Even granting her a normal, functioning body would have been too much of a strain for them. She also tried to sleep, but that is a difficult endeavor to pursue when you don't possess body that can get tired. And so Eve waited patiently... Waited for a miracle.

The said miracle occurred long past the point when she had accepted her intangible existence and developed unhealthy affinity for inner monologues. Sharp light suddenly pierced through the darkness; if Eve actually had eyes, she would have been temporarily blinded from such an abrupt change. Sensory perceptions got to her through different means, however, so she was able to retain crystal clear vision. Shame the same couldn't be said about her mind as well. What the fuck is happening?! Is this some elaborate way to variegate my punishment? You know, to add a flavor of humiliation in my monotone life and strip me of my dignity? And just when I was beginning to get used to the boredom, that's just typical! I swear to God I'll... Wait. Wait, this is a bathroom of some human male. Punishments usually didn't give their recipients awesome opportunities to make a grand escape; something was iffy here, but Eve had no reason to complain. She stretched her imaginary lips and it wasn't a pretty smile; if crocodiles could grin, it would probably look similar. Whoever this young man was, she was going to get closely acquainted with him; in fact, Eve intended to bond with him on such a level it would make all his ex-girlfriends morbidly jealous. Hot water smeared her liquid form all over his skin and she entered through the man's pores. Now was the time to settle in her new body, to get familiar with each cell and find a way to rewrite the primitive genes to her liking. After all, no way in hell would she spend her life in a male's body. That would be too awkward at public toilets... And pretty much everywhere else.

Eve was an able learner; while she had to pull an all-nighter on understanding how this particular body worked, she unraveled its every secret successfully. Perfect. Operation 'transformation' can start now. Goodbye, lousy incorporeal existence! Connecting to the central nerve system, Eve focused on releasing one very special chemical substance; a superior genetic information that basically told his own genetic code to go sit down in the corner and cry. Humans. They were all so weak. The body changed rapidly, assuming a new shape with such an ease it reminded a play-dough. The most prominent change, of course, was the gender reversal, but few other details altered as well; the hair grew in a an accelerated rate and turned white and the eyes lost its former color in favor of pale purple. Should be about correct now. Damn, I've forgotten how great it feels to actually breathe. Oh well, I guess I should inform the former tenant what's happening. Gotta follow standards of etiquette, Eve thought sarcastically. No regret about stealing this vessel burdened her conscience; this human probably did nothing interesting with it anyway and she deserved another chance. She forced her new body to stand up, feeling like a toddler making his first steps, and walked to the mirror on the wall. "Ehm. Hello. This is an embarrassing situation, but what you see here should be self-explanatory. You are me now. In fact, no, that was a bad wording. You're nobody. Resistance is futile. I have rewritten your feeble genetic code, so don't insult be with some silly rebellion. Not gonna work, pal. Stay quiet, be an obedient little puppet and it'll be easier for both of us. Well, only for me, but it's not like I care about your well-being... Though you might have guessed that already," Eve smiled sweetly at her reflection.

Adam awoke. He blinked a little, and walked over to the bathroom. He felt like he was...being dragged there. Still, he was really tired and didn't really think too much about it. When he walked in, he flipped on the lights and stared at himself in the mirror. 'He' looks at it and thinks "Who's that woman in the..."
After a bit of reasoning, he realizes it's himself. He looks down his shirt for a second, and then proceeds to shriek like....well, like a girl.
It appears 'he'll' have to be sitting down on the toilet for some time. He? He decides to consider himself 'she' for now. Really, 'she' could probably use both. She says "What's happened to me!?"

When she hears her voice, she gets angry and says "Who are you!? What have you done to me?". "Turn me back! Now!"
