Hello everyone! I'm looking for something rather specific; an RP inspired, in part, by the video game Unepic (which I haven't actually played). A D&D/tabletop gamer is transported to a magical fantastical land quite like the one they've played in. They have to find a way to survive without pen and paper, slay monsters, struggle with new magical abilities, deal with rude elves, finish seemingly impossible quests, crush on fair maidens/chivalrous knights, figure out why they're there (and how to leave... if they can), and uncover the mystery of the formidable 'Dungeon Master' unleashing his terror throughout the land.
Mostly, I want this to be a fun, light-hearted (with occasional darker moments), open world high fantasy game lovingly poking fun at fantasy tropes and stereotypes, with our own unique twist of course. I don't want to focus on pre-plotting too much and I'd prefer to build the world and develop the story/characters throughout the game.
I value quality over quantity, but I ask that you're capable of writing at least paragraph per post. I have few limits and would like to slap an 'M' rating onto the RP without restriction on language or violence. But again, this RP should have plenty of light-hearted and comedic moments, rather than being an angstfest. I'm smut friendly and will write M/M, F/F and M/F depending on my partner's preference, but sex in every scene is rather dull.
Because I'm the one who's requesting the RP, I figured I'd take on the role of the GM and control most of the world, secondary characters and steer the plot, though you're welcome to as well. So, I'm looking for someone to portray the Lost Gamer; they can be any age over 18, male or female, have any sexual preference, have any personality and abilities of your choosing, as long as they aren't a Mary/Gary-Stu.
I'd prefer to do this on the boards or over PMs. I can post a couple times daily, sometimes more, sometimes less. Drop a comment here or PM me if you're interested.
