Greetings RP Guild!
It has been quite some time since I’ve actually sat down and had a good old longer-term RP with anyone at all and I’ve come to quite miss it. So what have I been craving for? Well simply put, pre-game Morrowind from The Elder Scrolls series. Something perhaps set in the times of the wars between the great houses, pre-Tribunal and Red Mountain murder event. So tensions between different houses would be raised, but there would be regular attempts a broaching peace. After all, none of the houses can really survive without the others support and so trade is sure to bring wealth to anyone involved. If you are interested in any other particular time period, just tell me and I’ll consider it, I’m not fixated on this era after all.
I was planning that at first our interactions would be strictly letters, having been commissioned to set up a trade of some sort (dependent on which houses we pick) between our families. We would obviously be of a more noble birth, and so almost all of the classes would be open to us. Though not of too higher birth, since heirs are far too risky to be sent anywhere too far afield at this point in history. It also leaves you with more freedom in regards to the class but also a lower chance of censorship of your writings. After some time, it would be decided that one or the other of us would make the trip as part of a trade delegation to the other’s house territories. But of course there are people within both our houses who would greatly profit from seeing these delegations fail. Whether or not they succeed will be up to us and how the game goes.
Now then, on to expectations.
Now I’m apparently a little odd in that I’m not exactly looking for an actual ‘love’ relationship. I’m more interested in building a genuine friendship between our characters, regardless of their differing houses and perhaps backgrounds. I am perfectly fine with a slower pace to the RP, as well as the posting rate. I normally used to manage 1-2 posts per week, though that was mostly out of waiting on others in larger RP’s so I am sure I could manage more if the need arises. I am open to playing almost any of the houses, though I’m particularly leaning towards the Telvanni or Dres at the moment since these have been long-standing favourites. We would both have to be Dunmer of course.
