xD Hell, I don't know. I don't foresee it being a regular thing, but I do see it happening on occasion just because I don't have a regular source of internet.

Dark Souls...has swallowed my life. I was so happy, and then...STILL SMILING!!! :D
Started with my classic dex/pyro build for PvE then decided to try something new for a co-op character and made a str build that began with a Zweihander before switching to Black Knight Great Sword.
For game-breakingly high damage put your trust in ULTRA GREATSWORDS!!

Anyway I will try to pull myself out from the Abyss to get my head back into the rp action. Please excuse my Dark Souls vacay...I think I got that out of my system.

Never played Dark Souls, though I've heard good things. But I've recently lost half my life to Mount&Blade, so I know them feels bro.
It'd be nice to get a tad more life going here, maybe recruit one or two more folk. And have we seen Crimson Flame recently?

Good things about Dark Souls??? Really?? Does this mean that the gaming community has finally moved past the whole "I heard its stupid hard, and why would I want to play a game that kills you every four seconds?" :D

I'm interested in Mount&Blade but would have to see some gameplay/hear some reviews before seriously considering it. Also, have you looked at Bound by Flame? Terri-bad reviews but it looks like solid gameplay at least.

I'd watch a few Let's Plays of M+B before committing. It's very niche. And no, never heard of that one. A-googling I go...

Well, once you figure out the basic combat mechanics (which is easy--remember your first shooter? Fiddle with the controller for 5-10 minutes you'll get the hang of it eventually, just remember every weapon has its own moveset, but not really since most of them are copy pasta from similar weapons), and that upgrading your weapon to +5 immediately is your besty...in other words once you know what you're DOING its not all that challenging--cuz RPG see? Yes, Blight Town and Sen's Fortress, and the absurd number of random pitfalls/insta-kills in this game are bs but meh...that just means no matter how good you are you can still fuck up, and usually these things are because the player fucked up not because of "artificial difficulty."

Anyway...Bound by Flame is by the same French development studio behind DMC: DMC I think? Its a terrible game storywise and everything else, but the action is good apparently?? Lol, think The Darkness.

I somehow horribly misunderstood the GM's past couple of posts. For some reason I thought Shiro's punishment was to conduct the pen experiment with Ikeda... Owell, my mistake. Not sure how I got that idea in my head re-reading now.

I wanna save my post for later on the off-chance Lenaya gets back on here and decides to post something banana-flavored.... Does this site have any means of saving your post for later?

and Idk you could always just copy paste your post into wordpad, google drive or some sort of technological doodad. Though I'm sure everyone is there for the pen experiment, aren't they? The whole punishment thing is supposed to go on during vacation or something. I'll re-read and edit in a sec because I smell food and must investigate.

Okay, so, i've been denying this for a long time. >< This game is dead. Even if it's not dead, it's dying. I have a lot of stuff going down in my personal life right now so I can't give this game the attention it deserves. Sorry guys. If things change, i'll let you know.
