"Good job out there tonight Allen!" Allen nodded as he accepted the bottle of water and the towel. He wiped the sweat from his brow then twisted the cap off the bottle and took a swing. Daniel, his manager was standing there with a tall man. "Allen, meet Nathan. Your new bodyguard." Allen's face fell into a scowl. "Why do I need a new bodyguard?" Daniel frowned. "Because you ran off the last five so a replacement was needed." Allen's scowled deepened and he crossed his arms over his chest with a huff. "I don't need a babysitter." He grumbled. "No, but you do need protection. Now, it's time to head back to the hotel. Nathan will be rooming with you; do try to get along." Daniel turned away muttering "Just try and get rid of this one." Allen resisted the urge to stop his foot in frustration and instead tried to glare down the male in front of him. Of course, being five foot nothing, it was more like glaring up at him.

Nathan stood silent well he waited for the man he was suppose to protect. The young man watched as the show went on and looked to the screen, Daniel telling him about Allen and what to expect. Truthfully Nathan didn't pay any attention and looked rather bored. This was a slow deal and unlike other people who loved the star, Nathan had no idea who this kid was and nor did he really find it to be a big deal to be watching over a person like this.

Seeing the young man coming from the stage, he looked down at the small male and didn't smile or show much emotion. Maybe thats why Daniel had hired him in the first place. He wasn't easy to scare off and he usually ignored people for the most part. His hazel eyes only glanced at the small man Grabbing his water bottle, the taller male drank some water before sitting it down on a small table and turning back to Allen who simply seemed to be glaring. HE thought. He couldn't tell. Was he squinting? The brunette sighed softly and fixed his jacket.

Allen's eye twitched at Nathan continued to not say anything and simply stand there like a brick wall. He tightened his arms over his chest and resisted the urge to kick at the irritating mans shin. A small grumble escaped him as he stormed over to the door, shrugged on his jacket then proceeded to stomp out to where the limo was waiting, all without a back glance at his bodyguard to see if the man was following. He could be left behind for all Allen cared. And so, the young star sat by the window seat with his arms crossed over his chest, stubbornly refusing to look at Daniel as he glared out the window and pouted.

Nathan sighed as he followed, a bit annoyed as well since he found that he would have to share a room with this kid. Climbing into the limo the young man didn't look at Allen, instead he looked down at his watch. The old thing didn't work. It belonged to his grandfather who had been taking care of him since his mother left him and his father went to prison.

The male looked to Allen and shook his head slightly before staring out the window with a blank face. "If you keep making that face, it'll freeze like that." Nathan said. His voice like dark honey. Sweet but also bitterness behind it.

Arriving to the hotel, Nathan got out and opened the door for them before. Letting Allen lead the way, the man was quite. A few fangirls did come and they asked sweetly to have a few things signed. Since they weren't any threat, Nathan didn't do anything unless he was told. Yes, he'd watch the kid but wouldn't jump on ever little person who came up. He stood a few feet away, looking back to Allen as if telling him to take his time. They weren't in a rush.

Allen rolled his eyes. "It speaks! And here I was thinking you were a mute or something." He turned back to the window, the rest of the ride rolling by in quiet. They reached the hotel and Allen slide out of the limo. He began walking towards the door but was stopped by a few guys who asked him if they would have his autograph. He gave a charming smile. "Why of course!" He said. He spent the next few minutes signing and taking pictures with them. After they left Allen proceeded walking towards the entrance to the hotel. He entered and went straight to the elevator. He smirked at Nathan as he stepped inside and closed the doors before the other male could get inside. He rode the elevator to his floor and got out, heading down the hall to his room. He reached the room and stepped inside, kicking off his shoes and shrugging out of his jacket. He headed to the bathroom and closed the door once inside. He turned water on then shrugged out of his clothes as he waited for the water to warm up.

Nathan let Allen have his space. Once they got to the elevator he rolled his eyes as the male left without him. Oh yes, this would get him "mad". Taking out the key he looked at the room number and simply took another elevator. It wasn't too long after till he was inside the room as well and he took a seat on the couch. He took his book and opened it, reading about myths from all over the world. Let Allen think he won, Nathan would still have his job and pay check.

After a refreshing shower, Allen wrapped a towel around his waist and exited the bathroom. He froze upon seeing the figure sitting on the couch and he scowled at him as he padded over to his closet and disappeared inside it. He got dressed in white skinny jeans and a lavender polo. He stepped out of the closet, drying his hair with the towel. He threw the cloth in the hamper before flopping onto the bed. He grabbed the remote and clicked the t.v. on, completely ignoring the male on the couch.

Nathan stood silent and never looked up from the page as he kept up with the story. Soon it was time for lights out, well for him anyway. Looking back into the room, he shrugged and laid back on his couch and closed his eyes as he thought about what hell he was getting himself into. Then again, this offered him a warm place to sleep and some food. The young man had been sleeping on the streets since he left home. He refused to get help from family so this job actually was the only thing that was keeping him alive for now.

Allen noticed movement out of the corner of his eye and glanced over. He saw that Nathan had switched into a reclining position on the couch. The boy then turned back to the t.v. He watched a show for little bit before he yawned. He turned the television off, changed into his pajamas and clicked off the lights. He crawled under the blankets and snugged down, pulling the covers all the way until they were touching his ear as he laid on his side. He laid there for a moment before his eyes slipped closed and he drifted off to sleep.
