I hate it and I've done it for over five years now. It is why I write when I can.

A loan underwriter, that sounds like something I should know a little more in depth.

I do accounting, it's soul sucking but it's not actually half that bad.

Do you have any future job prospects in mind to get out of what you do or no?

It's a job. It helps pay the bills. I'd like to go back and finish my bachelor's degree in history and write books but that's a far off dream. Right now it's just about saving up and trying to get our house in order and get my husband's business going. Maybe, maybe after that, I can go back.

Remember kids, stay in school.

He's a mechanic and basically he wants to start off by buying cars and fixing them up to running condition and selling them for under $3,000. That's a price a lot of people can get the cash to pay up front and it keeps it under the IRS cap. If our neighborhood gets rezoned to commercial/residential like we think it might, then he'll probably build a shop on the empty lot next to the house.

I hope it works out, it's a tough road but at least we own the land outright. Which is a huge help.

Maybe I'll take some accounting courses to help out that way, but I hate math. :(

Accounting is fucking hard.
But it's not really super math intensive,

It's more like.... translating languages. just with tons of numbers and data.

It's good you like what you do, that helps a lot. I don't hate my job but I don't get much satisfaction out of it. It's easy, probably the easiest job I've ever had. But it's boring and repetative and I don't really care for the business.

Do you see now why I have over 10,000 PMs?
