Legend around Treasure Town has it that the Pokémon Giratina is trying to seek out the Pokemon of Knowledge, Willpower and Emotions, blaming them for it's banishment to the underworld. The Reganade Pokémon can only be halted with the power of Arceus, the "Creator" of all Pokémon.
A newly formed exploration team hears of this legend while preparing to start thier training with the guild, with the two having differing opinions of the basis and truth behind the story.
When dark happenings occur throughout the many dungeons in the land, from the sudden deaths of various strong explorers, to the destruction of entire dungeons, the blame is automatically placed upon Giratina. With Arceus having suddenly vanished, teams are being formed to put a stop to the Ghost and Dragon type, consisting of teams formed from both independent explorers, and members of Wigglytuff's guild.
Being a junior team, (Our Characters) are assigned with carrying out "normal" tasks in basic dungeons, from retrieval of treasure and items, to the rescue of pokemon, to collecting guild supplies.
When one of the team is critically injured on a mission, the other nurses him back to health.
They decide to go against the Guildmaster's wishes, and seek out a way to stop Giratina...
Will they find out the truth and stop the death and destruction?
