I wake up in my den and sneak out, and notice the cold and wet feel on my paws, and jump around excitedly, It Snowed, It Snowed! I scream in my mind and roll around in the nice fresh snow

A small squeal jolted Karou out of her peaceful sleep. She blinked her nearly sightless eyes open and stretched before climbing to her feet. "Issa, what is it? Are you ok?" Karou asked worriedly. "Karou, you have to come outside!" The pup's excited voice drifted to her but it sounded oddly...muffled. The young wolf raised her muzzle and sniffed at the air, a clean and sharp scent filling her senses. She padded to the entrance to their cave and carefully prodded a foot forward. A cold, slightly squishy substance greeted her and she realized why everything sounded muffled: the snow had finally come.

She could hear Issa running around in front of the cave and she padded out, sitting down as she tipped her head to the sky, felling snowflakes land on her upturned nose.

Flame suddenly charged up in front of Nyx, a slightly annoyed expression on his face . He sighed," what did I tell you about nearing the border?" He tried to push Nyx back towards the dens with his nose, shaking snow off of his paws. He wasn't fond of cold, being more of a warmth seeking person by far. He said," go on, back you go."

Issa giggled as she leaped into the air, trying to catch the flakes drifting down. Her tail was wagging happily and she ran in a small circle before she rolled around in the snow. Karou smiled at the sounds of the pups happiness, settling down at the mouth of the cave where she could stay warm as well as keep track of Issa.

Flame sighed at her questions. He said," because they are, and that will never change. You'll know more when your older. Then you will understand." He shook his head, walking along side the pup. "Just know, they won't hesitate to kill us. Don't give them the opportunity."

Issa, so caught up in playing in the snow, failed to realize that she had strayed away from Karou and didn't even notice when she crossed the border. She didnt notice however when the trees became unfamilar and she paused, eyes wide as she looked around. She whimpered, crouching down as she stared around fearfully.

Karou jolted awake, not realizing that she had been dozing. She paused then grew worried when she didn't hear Issa. She darted out into the snow, calling the pups name; her voice growing more frantic when she failed to find the young wolf.

Finally Flame sighed," even I haven't been told the full truth yet, I know bits and pieces. But it is not safe there." He sat down, fire forming around his feet to melt the snow so it wasn't nearly as cold and annoying.

The next scent that reached his nose started growling. He rose to his feet and growled," sun clan. Stay here." He stood the quickly approached the scent, all the while growling as a warning.

Issa heard growling in the distance that seemed to grow closer and she trembled, pressing closer to the ground as she tried to hide. Her ears were flat against her skull and she couldn't help the whimper that escaped.

( hey so... I have to wake up in less then 7 hours so... This will be my last post tonight. (Don't kill me please, I like living!))

Flame walked out in front of the pup and snarled," what are you doing her, sun clan pup? Are you a distraction? Are you distracting us from an attack?" His eyes narrowed dangerously, teeth bared as he looked at the little pup.

A small yelp of fear escaped Issa and she flinched back, her trembling increasing as she stared up at the large wolf with terrified eyes, too petrified to even answer him. She doubted any words would come out anyway.

Palin sleeps on a rock, a ways away from both the camp and the border between the rivaling packs. He never understood to conflict, so he stays out of their way. Except for Tulilan, of course. A sound wakes him from his sleep and he lifts his head, ears perked up. He only now realized he was covered in a sheet of new snow already. He gets up, shakes the snow off, and heads in the direction of the voices.

The young Sun pack pup suddenly bolted away from the fire wolf, running in a random direction in panic. She didn't know if it was a way back into the Sun territory but she really hoped it was.

Issa yelped when she bumped into something and stumbled back a few steps. She glanced up, whimpering when she saw another wolf. She relaxed however when the scent of Sun pack washed over her.
