Yeah that was one opening I saw while writing it, but didn't write it in right away in case no one wanted to do that. But openings in her past could be pulling her out of the lake, being someone who dared her to and then regretted it, helping her get on the quidditch team or to the hospital after her injuries, or something in someone else's past. I also put the Forbidden Forest as a dislike in case she ever took an adventure in there with anyone as well that ended badly.


Yeah sure. Any of those could work. Like I said though, as being close friends required loyalty, I think saving someones life would build loyalty better than anything else. I don't know, we'll see what the rest think. :)

Biography:
Calvin was born on a very peaceful farm in the English countryside, miles away from any sort of civilization. The farm grew crop that was harvested very well and tended to very carefully, though it seemed as if the owners of the farm, Calvin's parents, spent most of their time in their home or away from the farm. This was due to the fact that they were both skilled in the art of magic, using their abilities to farm quickly and easy whilst the muggles over the road spent most of their time on the fields. Calvin had an older brother who he did not get on with, Miles. Miles always used to push Calvin around, trying to outdo him at everything. Calvin believed that he was smarter than his brother, but his brother just had a knack for sucking up and working hard were as Calvin did not.

When he was a very young boy, around the age of 5, Calvin saw a cloaked black figure, that appeared to be on fire, enter his room in the dead of night. He hid from it and tried to ignore it and eventually fell off to sleep, waking up the next day in terrible sweats. To this day he isn't convinced that it was just a dream, despite merciless mocking from his brother and reassurance from his mother, who almost convinced him it was just a trick of his mind. He has, however, had nightmares of this event regularly across the last few years of his life. His sleep is always light due to this, meaning over the course of his life at Hogwarts he hasn't slept as much as he should have by any stretch of the imagination. He learned one day in Defence Against the Dark Arts that this cloaked, burning figure was his Boggart.

Calvin initially began to learn magic from his father at a very young age as his father was an extremely powerful wizard - however, when he was only a young boy, his father vanished for a week and was found dead in London, seemingly murdered. With no explanation for his father's death, Calvin was given his first taste then of the cruel unforgiving nature of the world. He has since felt grateful that he was given this lesson so early on in his life, preparing him for hardships that would come and pass later on in his life.

When Miles went in to Hogwarts, he was sorted in to Ravenclaw and instantly excelled at the school academically, learning everything there was to know about the world of magic - however, Miles lacked practical skills and was not as talented in classes such as Defence Against the Dark Arts. When Calvin entered the school, however, he contrasted greatly with his brother. Calvin was entered in to Gryffindor and fell behind in classes such as History which required a lot of study and thought - not because he lacked the intelligence, only because he lacked the motivation. However, Calvin was brilliant in the subjects that his brother failed in, performing very well in Defence Against the Dark Arts in particular. Miles could not stand that his brother was better than him at something, and, Miles, being very popular with both teachers and students, got away with pushing his younger brother around quite a lot.

Across his years in Hogwarts, Calvin has struck quite a typical figure, blending in to the crowd for the most part. He was the sort of guy, that, for a long time, had lots of semi-friends, but no great friends who he could truly rely on. He was in many ways quite anonymous, drifting between groups and usually being quite reserved and not really caring what went on between people - however, people did know him around the school as he was never afraid to take risks and lost his head a few times, being known for having one or two fights and for mouthing off at a teacher. Nevertheless, he was the only one who watched his own back until he fell in with his current, small group of friends. Now going in to his final year, Calvin continues to struggle with his theory-based lessons while he is confident in the more active subjects.

Persona Information:
General Traits:
He is very loyal to his friends, and tries to be honest with them if he can, only ever holding the truth back if it would harm them. Some would consider him brave, other reckless, as he can often do things that could get him killed on impulse when others wouldn't even consider it - such as standing up to a criminal with a weapon. Calvin relies on instinct for a lot of things, some times it works out, some times it ends out badly. He appears casual and sometimes quiet whilst in the presence of those he does not know, but can be is comfortable to talk with his friends. He can be very rash in his actions, finding it hard to deal with insults, especially when directed at friends or family of his, in any other way than violence. Deep down he is perhaps not as gruff as he may appear to others, though that is generally a vibe that some people will get from him.

Biography:
The Zephyr family started out in Hogwarts when her father, Yas, attended the school with his best friend Isabelle (Corentin's mother). The two did everything together. Taking the same classes and jobs, sharing a love for DADA, and it was no surprise to anyone when news spread in their final year, that Isabelle was pregnant with a little boy. Right after Graduation, the next day in fact, Corentin was born and during the first few years of his life, Isabelle stayed home and raised him as she should. Yas, however, had a duty to do, taking a job at the Ministry of Magic right after graduation, and as a result, never became such a big part in his son's life. He found himself missing out on watching his son grow up, and that was what made him sad the most.

It was one night that Yas stayed out later than usual, and in a fit of worry, Isabelle left Corentin, only at the age of six, alone at home. While she was out looking in a dark forest, she was attacked by a Dark Wizard and killed. It had been one Yas and his colleagues had been trying to arrest for weeks. By the time he had gotten there, it was too late, and she was gone. They never did find that Wizard in the end. Greif stricken, Yas took leave from his duties as a Auror and took his son, moving away in search for a fresh start in France. That was where he met Rin's mother, Noe. After enrolling Corentin in an Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, he met Noe as she worked at a local coffee shop he often visited. Much like his first love, Yas fell hard and fast for this woman, and after a few years of being together, she too ended up pregnant with his child. The entire pregnancy was a struggle, and as the months drew along, Noe got sicker and sicker. On the day Rin was born, she died in the delivery room with no way to revive her. It was again that Yas was overcome by the loss of his love, that he usually neglected Rin as a child, leaving the 12 year old Corentin to do most things that had to do with raising the little girl. When Corentin reached the age of 14, the Zephyr family moved back to Scotland where Corentin attended Hogwarts and Yas was forced to raise a three year old Rin on his own while returning to his job at the MoM.

His negletfulness towards his daughter lessened slightly, but deep inside, he blamed her for the death of Noe and it caused him to hate her a little bit. As Rin grew older, it became more obvious to her that she was disliked by her father. Corentin never told her why, no matter how much she asked, and on days when he was especially cruel and abusive to her, she often cried to him and pleaded that he treat her with as much love as he did to her brother. Every time she'd be met with a glare or be pushed aside while he praised Corentin for everything he did. Her escape she found in drawing and painting. Often times she would hide away from her fathers drunken rage by going to her basement and coloring. When he had found that she had talents for art, he seemed to despise her more for some unknown reason and when Corentin moved away the abuse seemed to get worse.

At the age of twelve, Rin's father threw her out of his house during one of his drunken fits after breaking her things and screaming that she had taken away the only reason he had left to live in his life. Her brother, living nearby at the time, took her in and kept her for two years until she too was enrolled into Hogwarts. Her second year in, she had gotten a call from her brother saying that their father had gone missing and that he was moving away, following a few leads as to where he might be. Unable to do anything for now, Rin began to really focus on her school work. Finding her father became the top priority in her mind, not because she loved him or because she was worried about him, only because he couldn't die just yet. Before he was allowed to die, Rin had to hear from him, in his own words, what she had done to deserve all of his hatred growing up. And... why she never had a mother.

General Traits:
Rin is an extremely quirky girl with a serene disposition and many eccentric beliefs and qualities. She is a complete nonconformist; she lacks self-consciousness and is not afraid to show who she truly is. Often times she will randomly shout in the middle of her sentence or do other random odd things such as talk to herself or turn away during the middle of a conversation. Despite having the attention span of a rabid squirrel, Rin is also intelligent and unusually perceptive of others feelings and thoughts. Her demeanor and voice are often distant and dreamy, and she will drift away from a conversation she does not find interesting. She has an uncanny way of making others uncomfortable by being bluntly honest, or embarrassing honesty according to her brother. She is completely unflappable and rarely seems anxious or under stress, even under difficult circumstances such as being in battle or taking a test she did not study for. Rin was very good at comforting others and is usually quite a joy to be around. Rin has extremely well-developed senses, and an aesthetic appreciation for beauty. She's not interested in leading or controlling others. She is flexible and open-minded about other people lives, traditions, stories, etc.. She is also original and very creative and enjoys living in the present moment.

We have three, and I only really wanted one more or so, but I could stretch it to 5 if you guys want.

Also, I think being a lycanthrope would be a bit problematic, would be a bit of a confusing struggle so maybe not - an interesting plotline, however, could be being bitten by a werewolf at some point.

Biography:
Zef was born in a small village inside of Romania to his father Valen and mother Johonah whom were both respectable Aurors who resides in Romania for the passing seven to eight years. Life was simple and sweet for Zef and his first five years were pleasant enough and he was part of an active and loving family, but that changed rather quickly and almost instantly. Upon Zef's 6th birthday or rather the night before around 11:00p.m. their small house was put under siege from the outside and within a few moments the entire house was coming down on their heads, fire was engulfing the entire home. Valen and Johonah were able to pull Zef out where in they told him to run into the woods as fast as he could and not look back they would come for him. Zef scared did as he was told as bolts of green light was flying in every direction. Zef only made it little ways before the fighting broke into the woods, not knowing what to do Zef hid in a near by crevice inside of a tree and he watched his parents fight off the attackers but it was all in vain when a cloaked figure entered the fray and killed both of them right in front of his eye's. When the fight was done and the woods became quiet Zef could only watch as the cloaked man slowly removed the wands from his parents unmoving hands and then silently walked past the tree he was hiding in, even until this day he could remember the stranger stopping and slowly turning his head to where he was, and knew he saw him, saw his head with no face just an inky blackness and then walk away.

After the events which claimed both of his parents lives Zef went to live with his older grandmother who was living in downtown London. For most of his younger years Zef was constantly plagued by the memories of the night his parents died, the memories of the cloaked man who had no face, most nights he would wake up screaming and then would cry for long amounts of time. But as time went on Zef began to slowly overcome the vivid nightmares, and his grandmother who was a loving and compassionate woman slowly brought him up as her own, even try to teach him a thing or two about magic. Life became better after that for Zef and he more often then not helped his grandmother around the house and more often then not would go for walks around the neighborhood they lived in. Upon his 11th birthday Zef received his letter to go to Hogwarts where his life would change. His grandmother was so proud of him that day and he often recounts the time they spent in Diagon Alley and the fun they had collecting his school items.

When Zef first arrived at Hogwarts he was clearly scared and never before had truly seen such a massive place with so many people in it in his life. Zef was placed almost immediately in Slytherin house that first night. As his first year went on Zef found that he excelled greatly in DADA, some would say he was naturally gifted in spell casting, but most never knew that the memories of his past often spurred him, motivated him, and encouraged him driving him harder then most would to become a great duelist. As the years passed by Zef became a top notch duelist often practicing near the lake in the back of the school, however while he was great at magical defense he often suffered in his other classes, often saying he was not much interested in muggle studies, or potions making, however his dream was to becomes and Auror by this time like his parents so he buckled down and tried to do his best in those classes.

Now in his final year Zef is in what you might call a do or die type state of mind, he is constantly pressing himself to become better, to become stronger and to become smarter in all his classes. Among the other students Zef often stands out to them, his willpower and his ferocity when he does DADA often making him seem extremely hard and unforgivable. However Zef does not much mind or care about these things, all he cares about is becoming the best Auror out of all of them and will do anything to claim this dream, even if it meant he would one day face the faceless cloaked figure who destroyed his life at such a young age.

General Traits:
Zef can be how do you say quiet in a lot of ways, while he can be very vocal if you annoy him to the point of fracture, he tends to more or less keep to himself which in a lot of ways makes him more weird then most. He is usually very calm under stress and he is what you might call magnanimous, he does not hold grudges or ill will towards others as a lot might do. Some say he is too forgiving, but he just does not want to live a life of bitterness and coldness. Most who know him tend to say he is hard to hang around which is why he doesn't have many friends among his peers, but he takes time getting use to. He is often more then not blunt when he speaks, he does not believe in candy coating things, some beat around the bush he will just burn the bush down and get to the point very quickly which makes him very decisive in others eyes. He lives by morals which more often then not control his actions in his day to day life. He also often tends to be a little more serious then others, which in the long run makes his what you would call jittery, his hand often moves about to the point where he does not notice it moving not big movements as much as small but noticeable movements. Most of all Zef is loyal to his friends, he cherishes honesty and integrity above all else, all in all he can be your friend or he can be your enemy, but that is for the other person to decide.

I think any more than 4-5 would lose the vibe I think the RP is going for. I mean, 5 could be fine to me, but 6 would be too many. That's just my opinion though. Take it how you want :)
