You exist in a world of might and little magic. Much faith but very little proof of the divine. Of monsters and warriors. Swords and Shields. Dungeons and the very unheard of Dragon. (yeah I said it)

"But none of that matters! you already knew that didn't you? you have eyes, ears and a semi-cognitive head on your shoulders. And that's just about all you will have you welp! It doesn't matter who you were in any part of this fantastical land. You are now a prisoner and pawn of the Imperial Province, a large geopolitical power on this side of the world. Whatever you were doing as whatever person you are has ended as you are now within the confines -and unmerciful grip- of the King Maes Tristan II. You are in the same confines as every lowlife thief, thug, prisoner of war, and psychopath ever to stain this great land. It's not the kingdoms duty to do anything about you besides put you in and take you out, for whatever reason. So besides those planks you call a bed, the linens on your back, and the main hall where you can force down prison slop, nothing is left for you or anyone else. You're free within these dank stone walls, to try to survive here and hope us above have a better torture for you. Feel free to rot and die and leave space for the next of you space-takers, that 'bed' is definitely not fresh."

And so it is. The legacy of our heroes is not always in their hands to be written. This is to be a medieval fantasy of a distinction greater than the large iron bars that may (for a time) make it small. The players will be tested with challenges and chances to do anything from gaining the kings favor in the arena to conspiring to escape. Don't worry. With or without fail, the glorious kingdom will live on.

Feel free to expand the area out of your prison cell with your character's history, flesh him out and provide whatever skill he might of had before ending up here and how. Your weapon(s) of choice are just ones you know how to use, not have. A shield is an exception to the rule (eg. "sword and shield" is one proficiency. This CS is just to show an example of your dossier.

I would, but it looks like I will be temporarily inactive. maybe in two months I can come back with a more refined summary/intro and get the hype I want. Until then!

What level of casual is this going to be, though?

I'm happy to hear that! I will prepare an OOC in my off-time. I don't know how long it will take. More interest might motivate me.

As for Level of casual, that's going to be about who wants to be involved. The standard for casual has already been defined. Usually, I like long-term players who enjoy being thorough and developing things. With this roleplay, it's not going to be hard to eliminate drop-outs or dull moments.
