Hello everyone! I find myself torn between two roleplay scenarios and so I would like to see which of them garners the most interest. Let me know which of the two below seem most interesting to you, and if you have any suggestions or ideas please do not hesitate to throw in your lot. If you are interested, please expect the RP to begin in about 7 days -- meaning, if you aren't the type to remain interested in a week, please don't bother.

Let me know what you think!

Assassin's Creed: The Eagle's Shadow

This roleplay would go mission-to-mission, allowing for various time periods and settings. Similar to the game series the story will exist in two plains -- the Present and the Past. The basic premise is that individuals with unique genetic memories are being hunted down and killed by a party besides the Assassins or Templars. Our Main Characters become aware of this impending threat, banding together for protection. They become aware that similar purges have occurred before, and so they look to the past in order to uncover the conspiracy and save their lives.

Eagle's Shadow would explore time periods according to group interest. While this exists in the Assassin's Creed Universe, players should enter with original characters and a taste for something new. It is entirely possible to play a mission set in Jerusalem following the death of Alaïr, in 1492 Firenze shortly after Ezio departs to España, or perhaps in a time not yet seen, such as early 16th Century China. The options are endless, yet every mission will offer insight into who is hunting the group in the Present. This will allow story progression on both fronts as well as exploration of each setting and character. Unlike traditional ACU stories, there will be no required allegiance for players (i.e. You can be loosely affiliated, or not at all, with the Assassins/Templars).

Pilgrims

This roleplay resembles that of old folklore, where heroes come and go as needed throughout the world. Pilgrims is set apart in that the backgrounds of these heroes are rich, and therefore, will often overlap and even contradict with another. The warrior who protected a village to the south may also be a villain to the north. That said, players will be have the opportunity to work and fight with one another as the world develops.

Because of the nature of this roleplay a variety of settings will be available. The world exists in a mythic state, where things are familiar to reality, just skewed in some areas. It is entirely possible to come upon a society that owes its success to ritualistic sacrifice, while another down the way has given itself entirely to science. Each chapter will be characterized by the setting, allowing players to adopt new equipment and explore their characters in an entirely new light (for better or for worse).

Suggestions are welcome if y'all notice elements that turn you off.

I'll be building these out a little more too to see if there's any interest.
