Hi! First time posting! Can't wait to start RPing again! I haven't done this in literally 10 years!
...That being said, I think I need some direction.

I've crept through quite a few different threads, and I like the feel of the casual section, but I like to only control one character at a time (usually fantasy of sorts, anime sometimes). Would that be a problem? Do you guys think I should start at free form and work my way up?

Regardless, I look forward to jumping into roleplaying again! :D

Welcome to the guild, Zetsu!

I do hope you enjoy your stay :)

About your question, it depends on how much you can write and the quality of it. If you think you can spell, have decent grammar and can write at least a paragraph, Casual!

If you don't, free.

And just one character is fine, in fact, I rarely make more than one. Unless the GM specifically says you need more than one character, you can probably make one. :)

Awesome! Thanks a ton! Because of my early experiences with roleplaying, I've actually become somewhat of an amateur novelist/storywriter/poet, creating bits of stories and characters. Unfortunately I usually end up feeling kind of lonely throughout the process; having another mind help develop a story makes it feel more special to me.

Will definitely take your advice! I'd like to start up a Fantasy roleplay that consists of a vast, unexplored world so that everyone can pick/make a race, decide whether they use magic or not, set technology advances (with some sort of balancing of course), but I think I will try to save that for when I get my "resume" built a bit.

Thanks again! Definitely will check out the interest checks in hopes of testing the waters very soon :)
