I'm also EST. I thought you might have been ahead of me because you mentioned 3AM and I thought you were going to bed at that time. If our time zones were vastly different, I was going to suggest that I schedule my replies so you weren't stuck waiting.

Ah, no worries. I just have really weird work hours, haha. I bake bread for a bakery, so I work from about 4am-12pm 5 days a week.

Mm, fresh bread though. I'd take weird hours if I got to be around that all day, lol.

I had a thought about them running into her friends later in the day? That is, if they're going to continue hanging out and Noah doesn't need to get to work, lol. But I thought we could establish her friends as an early conflict, and I think his friends would probably feel the same way about Charlotte when we eventually bring them in.

Yeah definitely, that sounds like a good idea. I don't think he'd mind ditching work, even though later on if his dad were to find out why, that could fuel the fire with his own family, too.

Yeah, I totally agree. I could see his mom and dad not trusting Charlotte and being confused about why she wants to hang around him.
