I made a typo in a thread's title, and I was wondering if you could change it for me?

The apostrophe should be removed. Nothing else.

This will probably sound a bit rude, but bear with me: Did you read what I wrote, or only the title?

I made a typo, nothing else. It's not renaming a title, but fixing a spelling mistake. If anything, that should fit under the "exceptions" that the Help Forum mentions. All it is is changing it from "World's" to "worlds"

It isn't something that is possible. It isn't that I won't, it is that I can't. The exceptions comment was about deleting RPs, not about thread titles. There are tons of threads in this section asking for the same thing, they all get the same answer, We can't.

Physically can't because the program/code behind the site (or whatever) doesn't allow you to, or just because you made the rules like that?

I know I'm squeezing the proverbial lemon here and probably being more than a little annoying, but it just seems silly that just about nothing can be changed, and we don't have the ability to do so ourselves.

At any rate, if it is because it's just not possible, then I would've liked to be told that from the very beginning. I apologise for being annoying, though. Whichever the case may be.

I am sorry you have the impression that we would be so arbitrary and petty to have rules like that. I assure you that if there is a rule there is a well thought out reason for it, even if it is not apparent. In this case the site isn't capable.
