A little about me, you can call me Midnight or Halo and I'm a girl. I'm twenty-three and I've been roleplaying since sixteen. I started out with Harry Potter on a different website and branched out from there to tumblr where I had a brief stint as Jason Todd. After that, I took a break due to a slump and now I'm searching for RP partners!
About Me/Preferences
- I prefer to roleplay through threads.
- I'm able to reply every day or every other day. If it takes longer than that, I'll PM you or post in OOC. I would appreciate it if my partner did the same.
- Please be at least eighteen or older.
- I use smut as a plot device, and I usually fade to black just because it kind of bores me to write out the entire act. If you're insistent on needing smut, we'll go to PMs but I'd prefer not to play any game that revolves around mature content.
- Comfortable with all pairings—MF, MM, FF.
- I play both genders and you should too.
- I play more men than women and have for years. My females are weaker despite being one myself, so I take the opportunity to play women when I can so that I can improve.
- I'll double when necessary. If I'm playing a man, I don't need you to be play a man as well just to satisfy some weird, romance quota. Adding in non-NPC side characters is fine.
- Roleplays about A to B romance is boring and I won't do it. There has to be other things going on.
- I love to brainstorm and create things with my partners and you should too. I feel awkward whenever I'm the only one suggesting things.
- I'd like three to four paragraphs per post from my partner and I'll do my best to match whatever I'm given. Length doesn't factor into a good RP, imo.
- Proper spelling, grammar and structure are a must.
- Don't godmod me.
- If you have an issue OOC, if I piss you off, if you don't like the direction the RP is going, tell me! I like for my partners to be happy.
- Have fun!
I'm sorry if that was a lot to take in!
One more thing, because I didn't want that list to get too big. When it comes to most fandoms, nine times out of ten I'll choose to play a canon character. Playing something already established is easier for me than plunking a blank slate into a universe they might not fit. If we're going to RP in a fandom world, I'd prefer my partner also play a canon character. It's my preference to not mix canon/OC. If you're not the canon type, I'll gladly do OC/OC with you.
