Welcome to you, advanced smithy of the text based story, I am Laios Yslaitho, Time Traveler and he who Capitalizes words as a means of emphasis on the object in question. Searching through the interest checks seems to be going nowhere for me, so I have decided to throw a few ideas into the pot and see what comes to boil. Let me start off by saying I don't do romance. I have nothing against it, it's just not my thing. It's awkward for me to type and I get no enjoyment out of it. Moving on, I am quite good at nearly everything else. I am twenty five years old and have been roleplaying on and off, through multiple interfaces, for over ten years. I got my start on Furcadia back when dial-up was king and getting 12KB/s download was a miracle of Technology. Since then, I have learned and honed my skills into what they are today. I am by no means an expert novelist, but I know my way around a keyboard. If you want a sample of my work, feel free to ask and I will be happy to oblige. As for this topic, I've got plenty of ideas and characters to work with, but I do have a few things that I would like to attempt. I will list them below:
Sci-Fi settings are a classic that I've always loved working with. If it floats in space and shoots lasers, you have my attention.
Fantasy is always a joyful experience. Perhaps a bit overdone, but there is always something new and exciting to pull from the genre.
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. You can judge me all you want, but I loved that show. The universe is well built and the weapon types could make for an amazing RP.
Noir doesn't seem to get much love from what I've seen, but maybe I'm not looking in the right place, still something that could be quite fun with the right story.
Fandoms are fine with me, though there are very few characters that I feel I could portray properly. If you ask really nicely, I might try a canon character, but for the most part I just stick to original characters within the established universe.
