Because... Well, you know, the other interest check's been in limbo for a while now and I've been wanting to be in a YGO RP for a while now. Also because SECE just came out and Secret Forces is right around the corner. I have YGO hype that needs to be placated. Premise: This is Tenrei City, which almost entirely runs on Dueling. Marketed as a place where people can live and breathe dueling, Tenrei City's unique in regards to the fact that everything quite literally runs off of Dueling- winning Duels loads credits onto your ID card, which can be used in lieu of money. Most of the city runs on machinery otherwise, able to sustain itself without a necessity for regular employees. It's a Duelist's dream town, where they can come and play to their hearts' content. But there's something strange going on at the core of the city. Sometimes, accomplished Duelists disappear without a trace. The neverending tournaments and novelty of the city leave most unaware, but that doesn't mean these Duelists never existed. Will you uncover the truth behind Tenrei City, or will you disappear into its darkness as well? Well, I'll probably be taking the discussion used from that other interest check and bringing it here. If Keyblade somehow returns and gets angry with me... I'll work something out. Anyhow, this means... - Custom Banlist. - Maybe custom/anime-only cards. Some of these have the potential to make decks tier zero, so I'm kind of on the fence about them. - Probably no meta decks. I mean, some people run the Cir/Tour Guide engine, and that's fine with me. I'll probably hit some of the big offenders in the custom banlist. Scout to 1, anyone? - Choose how you want to duel and all that. Dueling sims, RNG-based PM mediated (though this is kind of annoying because then checking for responses is kind of... Yeah.) and all that are fine, as long as both parties agree to it. - Any decks whose sole purpose it is to OTK or any decks that require no interaction (examples like Exodia, Chain Burn or that one really nasty Frog burn loop) are a no-go. It's not fun to go against at all. In the words of a lot of other people, it's like playing solitaire with yourself. - Decklists would be nice to have. I'd say make them mandatory, but that's up for the people interested to decide. Any questions? Ask away!
