### **JENNA JAMES "JJ" BARTLETT, 18** **APPEARANCE** [As pictured here. ](http://fashionbomb.thefashionbomb.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/amber-riley-emmy.jpg)Jenna James is a short, rotund teenager who reached physical maturity too early and despite her large-chested and undeniably curvy form she often gives the general impression of a girl trying far too hard to be a woman. Her most striking feature is her thick, untameable curly hair which she wears naturally – almost like a lion's mane. Disregarding her unattractive, apple-shaped figure, she is still fairly pretty by conventional standards. Her skin is extremely dark, more so than most of her family, but it is relatively untouched by acne and other problems that puberty brings. Jenna James learned fairly early on how to apply make-up so as to 'hide' the perceived problems with her facial structure. As a result, highlighting and contouring techniques hide the sagging, sleepless eye sockets, thin the too-wide nose and emphasise her favourite feature; lips in a perfect cupid's bow shape. Jenna James lives in a bad part of town and it is therefore not uncommon for her apparel to be called “trashy” – particularly by bullies. Typically she wears clothes designed to showcase cleavage for women much, much older than herself, usually in vibrant teals and purples. She prefers large loop earrings and has lip piercings (snake bites). While exploring the city's abandoned buildings, she tends to wear cargo pants and novelty t-shirts bought by friends and family as Christmas presents. **PERSONALITY** Jenna James appears to be a reserved girl, often lurking at the back end of groups and hard to notice at first. She is always friendly, if slightly distant, and willing to talk to anyone; however, it is clear she is wary of anyone she meets – distrustful enough to leave out key information and force conversation to easier, more general topics like the weather. Her attempts at this can be clumsy and obvious. Insults thrown her way seem to be shrugged off as she has a particularly thick-skin. In reality, she is shy. It is a trait not earned naturally but rather from years of verbal abuse and psychological warfare during school and even in her own home; a case of “once bitten, twice shy” when it comes to social interactions. Jenna James finds herself baffled by the slightest kindness but often clings to it like a lifeline. Her thick-skin is just a front. ### **MALCOLM OKADA, 21** **APPEARANCE** [As pictured.](http://assets.mens-folio.com/s3/heartmedia-mensfolio-production/uploads/galleries/2013/09/in-print-gorgeous.jpg?width=666) On first glance, Malcolm is typical of a young Japanese man, if a bit taller than the average. He is of a fairly athletic build with powerful, lean muscles from kendo. Strangely, his most noticeable and interesting feature are his hands – freakishly large with long, spidery fingers and callouses from holding a shinai. Small, silvery patches of psoraisis are visible on his bare elbows and forearms. Malcolm can be considered handsome and has been told as much in the past, particularly with reference to his strong jawline and straight nose. With permanently furrowed brows and dark eyes allowing little light to pass through them, intimidating is another word that springs to mind. His shoulder-length hair is wavy, often slicked back from his forehead and held in place by reading glasses, but there are a few erratic streaks of grey that have snuck in amongst the black. He is softly spoken with a particularly low-toned voice. Malcolm's lips are often chapped with peeling skin, mostly because of an obvious habit for b iting them in anxiousness. Despite his powerful build, he tends to slouch and slump over, as well as walk staring at the ground and avoiding eye-contact. On most occasions, Malcolm is generally unkempt. His clothes are often wrinkled, his collar untucked, his shoelaces untied and his pockets hanging out and empty. It is painfully obvious, however, that what he wears is expensive and well-tailored, even if he doesn't take care of it, as it fits his form snugly. A typical outfit for Mal consists of a button-down shirt (of varying colours), black trousers and his favourite pair of scratched and tattered brown Brogue boots. If he ever needs to hide his face, which he often does when “earning his keep”, he wears a plastic mask with a fox's face etched into it. The back of it ironically reads 'Made in China'. **PERSONALITY** Malcolm is horribly, disgustingly, chronically shy and – for the most part – terrified of social interaction with anyone outside his family (and girlfriend). Walking down the street, he would keep his eyes firmly locked to the pavement in front of him so as not to notice or have to smile at anyone he knew. A conversation or even a brief 'hello' gone awkwardly would haunt him for days and weeks as he considered what was and could have been if he'd only done it correctly. His self-esteem is low and anything bad that happens is always his fault even when it's clearly not. In general, he is disinterested with normal, mundane life and was even before his ultimate nervous breakdown began at the age of sixteen. Malcolm is apathetic towards his future and lazes around doing nothing more than he ought to. Malcolm's lack of confidence doesn't stop him from aspiring to be a hero, using his life and physical talent for something more... though he is too timid to take the first step of any action on his own and heavily relies on Jenna James' opinion. Malcolm is a not-so-secret romantic and ridiculously mushy at that. He's the flowers and poetry sort, rather protective over his girlfriend. This is a reflection of his overall loyalty – if he's friends with someone it is for forever; if he loves, it is eternally. Nobody ever said his poetry had to be good. **MORALITY** Neutral, and quite selfish overall. Name: Rexana Franks Nickname: Lady Silver Age: 20 Gender: Female Appearance:  Personality: She does not take orders from others well, though brought up and raised as a happy child she tends to be rather rebellious. She has a mouth on her and does not take shit from anyone except from her three close friends. She acts first and thinks later which causes problems and fallouts easily. She gets a thrill from robbing people and so finds herself on the wrong side of the law often. She also likes guns, any and all guns. If a guy talks to her like she is a piece of meat they get a kick to the bad lands where they certainly had a bad time. She loves rap and metal music and so she spends her time doing that when she is on her own or breaking the law. She herself does the most crimes as she likes the attention her father did not, her mother had passed away when she was four. She has a bit of a drug problem, the caffeine kind. She is cocky, she is stupid on many levels and she gives little to no thought to others excluding her friends. She gives the middle finger to everyone who gets in the way and she can charm her way into getting what she wants by using anyone she wants. She loves violence and she loves to cause it. Name: Sadie Robins Nickname: Miss Rhythm-Lock Age: 22 Gender: Female Appearance:  Personality: She is aggressive and loves to fight with fists and words. She is not too vocal and so lets her fists do the talking. She is easy to offend, when she is talkative then you know something is wrong as she becomes less physical. Though she is aggressive she is rather friendly and she also has a dream of being a dancer/rapper. Any boy that thinks he can get with her usually gets an ass kicking. She has big sister type trait and so always puts them ahead of herself when it comes to social and relationship things. She likes to drink as well and so when not beating something she will be wasted. She is anti-drug though and makes it clear to her in many ways. ### **”MISSISSIPPI” LOWE**, 23 (FORMERLY ALEXANDRA LOWE) **APPEARANCE:** [Pictured here!](http://i62.tinypic.com/242xsee.png) Short, flat and tomboyish, there is always some doubt as to Mississippi's true gender, which is unsurprising – androgynous is something she aspires to be. In tighter-fitting clothing she appears lean and well-muscled; however, despite her best efforts, she still has a clear, underlying hint of femininity. Generally Mississippi has dark circles under her eyes which seem to be constantly glazed over with imagination or something that artificially emulates it. Her shaking and unsteady hands are easily noticeable, though she tries her best to stifle them under long sleeves (which has the added affect of hiding the needle marks). She is both a nail-biter and a lip-chewer, something at odds with her apparent air of butch confidence. **PERSONALITY:** Missi is an extrovert – permanently friendly, forgives easily and considers everyone who she hasn't met to be a friend. Her charisma and confidence has not been limited at all by the tough times she has lived through. There is not an ounce of femininity left in her demeanour; her foul mouth and brutal honesty made sure of that. Missi does, however, suffer from low self-esteem, especially since her romantic nature has not been fulfilled – she often wonders whether she will ever find love, and if life is worth living if she never does. Her melancholic ways have drawn her in the wrong direction, to drugs and drink and one night stands, too many times, and she always goes back. Unfortunately, she doesn't understand flirting or anything subtle, so even if an opportunity does appear she might miss it entirely.
