I would like to have a go at a casual RP with someone who is familiar with many series (hopefully anime and video gaming, as those are my fortes) and can make plenty of jokes and references while still writing a coherent storyline with me. It'd be an adventure story with our original characters fighting against bad guys that we make up as well, but it's not serious or brooding at all. It's just silly, quirky and fun. Think of Fritz Fraudorf's stories like Manhattan Witch Project, Mr. Sith Goes to Washington and The Guardian Amulet, and you have a good idea of what I'm looking for. I was involved in a similar RP way, WAY long ago called Final Pokemon Solid, where we RP'ed as secret agents defending FF7's Rocket Town from various evils. Something wacky like that.

I'm not concerned about gender, but I would like to compile this into a readable story down the road, so some good writing skills would be desired.

Still looking for someone. We can always tweak this concept if you want. As long as it's us RPing as at least a protagonist, an antagonist and some NPCs as we go on our JRPG-esque adventure, I'm cool with it. I just don't want to have it be super depressing or philosophical.
