Well hello there! I am brand new to the forums but I have been role-playing for more than 15 years. I am a female player, I do female characters, and I am looking to play with male characters. Now, with that out of the way...
I'm looking for a sort of "Gladiator" type storyline (not the movie) to play. It doesn't have to be entirely historically accurate, as I can't claim elite knowledge there myself.
My character would be a sort of "trophy wife," wed very recently in a highly political marriage that seems pretty well doomed for unhappiness. As a sort of bizarre wedding present her husband wants her to "pick out" a gladiator so that she has some entertainment (yes, he means that kind of entertainment too).
The gladiator doesn't have to be a slave by any means, she could just be sponsoring him instead of buying him, all that. She finds the whole thing rather distasteful anyway, and does it just to play along.
As for whatever relationship the two develop, I leave that to build on it's own.
The story is likely to lead to some mature content, but that need not be the focus.
