And my brother tried to steal it. So I jerked it away so fast that a few drops spilled onto my cat, who was sitting on my lap.

And the thing about this that gets me the most is just what exactly my brother said next;

You got citric acid on the cat!!

Just take the jug of orange juice and pour it on your brother. If he asked why you did this, just say that you were trying to give him some.
