Two thousand years ago Night Raid brought down the corrupt government of the Capital. But, this was not without heavy lossess. Along the way, hundreds died to Imperial Arms users who were hunting down Night Raid. Even several of their own members, including the Hero of the Empire Tatsumi, died fighting against the Capital. With the death of General Esdeath, the Capital entered a new era, one of peace and equality. But, what has been corrupted once can be corrupted again. The new Captial is a flourishing metropolis where many people come to try and make their dreams come true only to find that the same depravity which existed in the country side also existed in Capital in much greater quantities.
You are one of the many who come to the sprawling metropolis in wonder to enter the Fight for Survival Tournament. Some say that those who survive throughout the tournament join an elite Special Ops group known as the Division and are allowed to choose which Imperial Arm they might have. But, in recent years the Tournament has become increasingly more violent and occasionaly competitors who show great skill disappear halfway through. Rumors have been spreading throughout the Capital and the outlying cities of a revolutionary force which has taken up the ancient title of Night Raid. Not only are these rumors accompanied by the disapperance of Fight for Survival tournament members but also the death of politicians known for their depravity. And so, you have come to the Capital in hopes of making it big in the world. Drawn to the Fight for Survival Tournament like everybody else, you sign your name on the roster and go to sleep anxious for the Tournament to begin the next day. Will you Survive the Tournament or will you disappear like so many other competitors?
So, if you have read this far them I am more than happy to Welcome your interest here. This anime will be set in the same world as the anime/manga Akame Ga Kill but is set two thousand years in the future since the death of Tatsumi and the successful uprising against the Capital. The story of Night Raid and the Revolutionary Army is well known throughout the Kingdom and nobody can forget the sacrafice of the Hero Tatsumi who died saving the citizens of the Capital from their own king. Night Raid and Tatsumi fought to end the corruption in the Capital and succeeded only for the Capital to become corrupt once more. Politicians and the Rich perform heinous acts of violence against the poor and homeless along with participating in the torture of innocents and sale of drugs.
People are starving and crime is rampant throughout both the streets of the Capital and the outerlying counties. Many people fight just to survive on a day to day basis. Your characters will be just like those people. You've seen the many crimes comitted but still you hope that the Capital will be different, that it will be like a shining star of hope in this dark world. Death happens often and we will be fighting more often than most roleplays do. But, let us get to the meat of what I've got to say real quick. This isn't going to be your average roleplay since we will be develing into more than just simple killings. Some times you will face a mission where you will have to navigate your way through the house of a Drug Lord and will encounter the depraved truth of the world as you happen upon prostitutes who have been given drugs as motivation to go out on the street and make more money so that they get more drugs.
So, I must say that this roleplay will not be for the faint of heart. Mass killings will exist along with tortures unlike any others. But, the world is more than just depraved. There is a beauty in it as well with massive mountains where Danger Beasts roam to forests in full bloom with fields of flowers nearby. Character Development is going to be a big portion of this roleplay as things will change with in your character as you dive head first into this world. In the end I would be glad if those of you who are interested can join me in this world. Also, I am going to limit the amount of players to 8 for the beginning and I shall get the OOC out when we have four people interested.
