Fate/Red Winter

Berserker:

Spirit: Thor, God of Thunder and Warriors
Master: N/A

Stats
Strength: A+
Endurance: A
Agility: B
Mana: B-
Luck: C-
Noble Phantasm: A

Class Skills
Berserker: Mad Enhancement-B
Thor is a Viking God who represented Thunder and Warriors. His strength is unmatched by all but Odin in Asgard and as such he is a great hero known for slaying the serpent Jörmungandr. Yet, as a god of the Vikings it is believed that Thor, like many Viking Berserkers, was almost always in a frenzy when he fought. By such, Thor fights with a wild abandon and ruthless strikes like a wild beast. Some scholars would refer to Heracles and Thor as beings born from the need of man to reason their unwanton violence.

Personal Skills
Divinity-A+
Thor is an undeniable God from the Norse Vikings. Born the son of Odin and the personified earth, Fjörgyn, Thor is a God of legends. He has many many brothers and is the husband of the Godess Sif. Thor's lack of sanity has lowered his Divinity to the same level as Gilgamesh's and as such is no where near as strong as he had been.
Instinct-A
The loss of sanity and the power of free thinking has left behind only the Instincts Thor had as a warrior. Though insane and unthinking, Thor is capable of sensing attacks out of pure instinct. He has no need for logical progression and by such fights with only on instinct by attacking any openings he senses.
Battle Continuation-B
Thor may be unthinking but that does not mean he feels the innate instinct to continue battling till he is dead. His body will break and his cuts will bleed like a normal servant but such simple wounds will not kill him. His Mad Enhancement only makes him more willing to continue fighting due to his loss of reasoning.
Berserk-A
Thor is the God of the Viking warriors known as Berserkers and as such fights in a wild frenzy. His attacks are wild and his intent to kill is always there. Thor does not hold back on killing unless ordered to do so. He leaves many openings due to his Berserker frenzy and as such will take hits that could normally be avoided.

Noble Phantasm

Name: Mjölnir
Type: Anti-Unit
Rank: A(Formarly A++ but reduced due to Mad Enhancement)
Range: 100 meters when thrown, about a meter around when used as melee
Maximum number of Targets: 2 to four
Description: Mjölnir is the hammer of Thor forged from steel by thee dwarven brothers Brokkr and Sindri as a bet made by Loki. Due to Brokkr having to stop pumping the forges, the handle of Mjölnir is shorter than it was meant to be and can only be wielded with a single hand. Mjölnir will always return to Thor when thrown no matter how far it goes. Though Mjölnir is never suppose to miss its target, Thor's Mad Enhancement has made it so that he can only hit a target which is standing still. He can no longer summon lightning as he once could nor level mountains but the occasional strike of Mjölnir will cause a burst of bright light.

Name: Ragnarok
Type: Anti-Army
Rank: A+
Range: Self
Maximum Number of Targets: Self
Description: Ragnarok is the fated end of the world which began with the death of Odin to Fenrir. Thor was fated to lose Mjölnir fighting Jörmungandr as he was also fated to die. With Ragnarok, Thor abandons Mjölnir and allows it to dissipate. The result is that Thor fights using only his fists and moves faster, hits harder, and can take more hits. Unfortunately, Ragnarok drains a whole crap load of prana and can only stay active, if used with full prana supply, for about ten or twenty minutes. This Noble Phantasm is only ever used if Thor feels that he is likely to fail a battle. This is his last resort should a battle go south.

Master:

Dante Benito Calogero

Age: 19
Affiliation: Church
Background: Dante was born into the Mage family known as Calogero in Rome, Italy. Dante was the first and only child of the marriage between Roberto Calogero and Isidora Gallerani, who hailed from the six century old Gallerani family. Though highly esteemed because of its history, the Gallerani family was in an obvious state of decline as for the past century none of their children have produced even average mages. His parent's marriage was Cesare Gallerani's, the family patriarch, attempt at stimulating the bloodline once more. Though, if you asked his parents they would tell you that it was because Isidora threatened to abandon the family to die in the ruins of their former selves for Roberto.

Dante was raised at the Calogero compound until he was five years old. In his young life he saw little of his Mother who was almost constantly at her Grandfather's side as his death grew nearer. Isidora was meant to inherit the family's estate at his death, a highly disputed decision in the family. Though everybody disagreed with the decision, Cesare would not take no for an answer especially with the knowledge that Isidora was stronger that her father as a mage. As such, both Dante's Grandfather Toran hated him and his Mother almost as much as Isidora's two older brothers did.

Dante's Father practically raised him on his own while Isidora was with her Grandfather. Roberto was a kind man and loving father who was nearly as faultless as a perfect slab of white marble. He was the oldest child of the upstart Calogero family formed only a century and fifty before Dante's birth. Roberto was on par with his brother on the level of power and when the time came for Roberto's Father to pass on his crests, the crests were to be passed onto the mage who proved stronger in a battle. Roberto easily outsmarted his brother with a smokescreen of an attack and received the crests as his reward. Since then, Roberto's brother Vincent has hated his guts for supposedly taking his destiny from him.

While Dante had a rather peaceful young life, it was as one would have expected for the sole heir of a mage family. His training started as young as possible. When he was learning Italian, he was also learning the fundamentals of magic. Once he could read, he was given scrolls his father had assigned to him so that he may learn types of magic and incantations for his uses. When Dante was five, he was handed over to his Calogero Grandmother, Pruella, for training and instruction while Roberto passed on the crests he received from his father. The long process of being receiving the crests took three months before they were fully applied to the young Dante. Afterwards, Dante's training became more severe as his Grandmother forced him to practice his incantations and, should he stutter, he would be beaten five times every time he failed.

And so, Dante's life was nearly constant punishment. The only enjoyment Dante was ever allowed was the occasional sweet. As head of the Gallerani family, Isidora rarely saw Dante and he grew distant from his Mother. Once his six years with his Grandmother was over, Dante was handed over to his Grandfather Toran for the last of his training. Toran, though coming from an older mage family, was tasked with teaching Dante how to protect himself physically while Isidora transferred her crest over to Dante. For nearly six months, Toran would push Dante physically during the day while Isidora performed the rather painful process of attaching the crest to Dante's legs. Each day Dante woke to extreme, or nearly impossible, feats of endurance and strength while he trained with Toran. Failure was not an option as the punishment was more grueling physical works.

Dante only spent six years with Toran but it was the period where Dante grew the most. Despite Toran hating Dante, he also loved him like he did his own sons. Dante often found himself in Toran's sitting room after training talking about magic and his goals in life. It was Toran who introduce Dante to the Lucina, a member of the Church who encouraged Dante to join. Dante was apprehensive to join the Church at first but he felt as if it was the best way for him to earn a name for himself. When Dante joined a year before the Command Seals formed on his hand, his goal in life was to become a member of the Burial Agency.

Traits:
Fine Breeding
Dante is the work of a total of seven hundred and fifty years worth of breeding. His magical circuits are both stronger and more numerous than the average mages. Dante was born with thirty-five magical circuits, ten more than his father and three more than his mother. His years of training and the centuries of breeding have resulted in Dante having circuits of a very high quality as well. He is capable of putting out nearly five hundred units of prana maximum.

Harder, Faster, Stronger
Dante wasn't trained to be weak an unable to protect himself. He is capable of fighting off most normal people when he feels like doing so. He can run a good five miles in thirty minutes after his years of training with Toran. Dante is also capable of lifting a good two hundred pounds when he needs to. But Dante prefers to avoid anything physical and is more likely to use magic over a fist fight.

Cram Session
Dante was trained magic for nearly all his life and was taught nearly all the types of magic there were. But his teaching was quick and often felt rushed so he is no master of any specific type of magic. His Grandmother mostly taught him basic runes, curses, some pyromancy, healing magecraft. But Dante almost always had a penchant for alchemy and healing specifically.

Alchemical Equations
Dante always had a penchant for alchemy and its processes. While his Grandmother and Toran didn't teach him much on the subject, Dante managed to teach himself in his spare time from the scrolls he read. Dante was able to teach himself Transmutation. His Transmutation is limited to only metals of iron and steel and only if said metals are no larger than a broom handle.

Pyromancer's Son
Roberto's training focused on pyromancy and as such Dante was taught the same. Dante's early training contained scrolls on pyromancy as well as basic magecraft. Dante is capable of throwing fire like a weapon and forming it over surfaces of his body but is incapable of creating fire more than ten meters away from himself and cannot form fire on others. A particular skill Dante made himself was forming fire around and object he had previously transmuted into a weapon.

Healer's Soul
Dante is compassionate beyond all belief and is not one to leave an injured person behind. Toran personally taught Dante healing magecraft in their free time. Dante showed to be skillful in the use of healing magecraft and was quick to learn. Dante can easily heal a cut that is a half-inch deep and five inches long. Healing only becomes difficult to Dante when they are deep or severely long. Mending broken bones will generally leave Dante a bit over extended.

Other: Dante may be the only child born from the union of the Calogero's and Gallerani's but he is most definitely not well like by the direct descendants of both. In fact, his mother's older brothers hate him for being preferred for their inheritance over themselves. Meanwhile, his father's only brother hates him for joining the Church instead of going with him to study Alchemy.

Kill La Kill: Is Your Ambition Strong Enough!

Name: Joshua Wilton
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Star Ranking/Goku Uniform: No Star
Strengths:
[Twenty-Twenty]
Joshua has a perfect eyesight and as such doesn't need glasses. He doesn't need to worry about fuzzy things in the distance nor the fuzzy look of items close to him. His focus can be on very distant items and close items at the same time.

[Eye on the Ball]
Many years of playing baseball has taught Joshua the key skill of keeping track of the baseball. This means that he can watch a quickly moving object with ease and track its movements with ease.

[Homerun]
A baseball's team player is a player capable of hitting a Homerun with the bases loaded. This means that all players on the team are trained to be physically capable of hitting a Homerun. Due to this training, Joshua is physically stronger than your average person and can lift pretty close to two hundred pounds.

Weaknesses:
[Poor Balance]
While having been trained to be physically stronger, Joshua wasn't exactly trained to be an acrobat. His balance is poor and, if he puts too much in a swing, can fall flat on his face. He also isn't very good at running for a long time without falling on his face.

[Wake up Lazy!]
Joshua may be strong and intelligent but he is also lazy beyond all belief. It isn't rare to find him sleeping in the shade of a tree or in class. He also rarely does work that he is suppose to do or arrive on time for appointments.

[Swing-n-Miss]
Joshua isn't exactly the most accurate member or the Baseball team. As such, his hits are greatly outweighed by his strikes. He even occasionally misses a punch when he is less than two feet from a person and just whiffs past em.

Favorite activity: Baseball
Personality: Joshua is by far one of the most easy going and calm person you might ever find. He most definetly isn't one to get in a fight often but when he does he won't ever back out. His movements are always speady and meant to try and impress those around him. Joshua is indeed arogant even though much of said arogance is unfounded. Expecting Joshua to do something for you just cause you want him to do it is practically insane since he doesn't really do things for people unless he likes you.
Biograpy/History: Joshua wasn't much of anything special when he was born. His mother was a middle class woman who ran a small bakery while his father repaired cars at his shop. Both his parents rarely had time for him so he was often left in the care of his Uncle Toby, a baseball player. Every Monday, Wensday, and Friday, Toby took Joshua to practices to watch him play baseball. Joshua was amazed as he sat there and watched the team practice everything from pitching to running the field. Once Joshua was eight years old, Toby allowed him to join in with the training, though not to the same standards everybody else had.

Since then, Joshua was dedicated to training to play baseball. He would spend his free time pitching balls, running, and swining in the batting cages. Though he couldn't really hit all that often, Joshua could hit hard when he did. Nearly three out of five of hits he have made were home runs. As such, Joshua quickly was enlisted to his local baseball team as a home run hitter. Eventually he got into some trouble at school with another baseball player and ended up suspended from school. Because of his suspension, his parents decided to send him to the Berlin High to learn his lesson.

At Berlin High, Joshua was just an upstart baseball player with a below average hitting rate but an above average home run rate. As such, Joshua became little more than a last resort due to him being more likely to miss than actually hit the ball. This turn of events led Joshua to improve his batting average through daily training sessions in both baseball practice and practice after the other students have left. His batting average went up from a 10:1 in favor of missing to a 5:1, still in favor of missing though. Unbeknownst to Joshua, he was being watched at his after hours practices by Director Kenta. The Director was impressed by Joshua's drive to improve himself and decided that if he really wanted to improve himself, he would have to go to Kyushu. But, Joshua could only go there if he was to help several other students take down the city. Joshua agreed to help them so long as he was capable of improving himself.

Weapons: A simple Aluminum Baseball bat
Items: A baseball mitt and baseball with his name signed on it.

Dear Anonymous...

It's who we are.
Doesn't matter if we've gone too far.
Doesn't matter if it's all okay.
Doesn't matter if it's not our day.

So won't you
Save us,
what we are,
don't look clear,
it's all uphill from here.
Oohhh.

-Imagine Dragons Who We Are

What is your real name?
Shouldn't you have this on record or something? Fine, I'll tell ya. I am Tori Mcbeth Williams.

Are you male or female?
Another thing that should be obvious to you. Female is the answer for those of you who are too blind to see.

What is your age?
Y'all just don't give up with questions you should already know the answer to. I'm 16 alright.

When is your birthday?
What's going to be the next question? My Social Security number? Either way I born August 1st 1999.

What grade are you in?
Hmm let me think of this for a second. I am a Sophomore so that would be 10th.

What are some of your hobbies and interests?
In the way of hobbies, I would say there are quite a few things that fall into that section. I am a guitarist as you can tell by this case and a damn good one at that. This here acoustic guitar I have is my father's old Alvarez Grateful Dead. Another hobby is skateboarding though I need to fix my board's wheels after one of them broke off last week. Let's see what else I've got that I have here. I hang out in cafes and watch people occasionally. But let's ignore that and talk about me and gaming. Gaming is serious to my unlike those other gamer girls out there. If you try and even touch my controlled I will bite you hand off. Oh yeah, I also really like to eat man.

How would you describe your personality?
The best way to say it is that bottling the essence of me would cause you to get a bottle of pure sass. If you've got a problem with that then you can kiss another thing of mine that rhymes with sass. I am not one of those people who stop and chat with friends in the hall way. Either you walk with me to wherever I am going or you get the f out of the way. I'm as vocal as they come and my temper is bad enough to melt tungsten.

What has your life been like so far?
Best way to say it is that it was in the dump until school started. Worst way to say it is that it was like a crap circling down the bowl of a toilet. My parents got divorced three months ago. It all started when my Mother found out that my Father wasn't sleeping with one but three of his TAs. And then he had the nerve to say that the only reason I was against him was because of the fact that he thought my Mother had brainwashed me into being pansexual. So, I decided to maybe it would be really cool if the press got wind of the divorce of the biology Professor and MTSU caused by his sleeping with three TAs and his fight to control his pansexual daughter.

To cut a long story short, with the controversy out to the public it became time to, as my mother would say, 'Clear the air'. So she took me to Colorado where we spent three weeks smoking some blunts and just hanging out really. Then she met a new boyfriend and decided to drop me off up here in this town where the press wouldn't find me while she went out gallivanting with her boyfriend. I haven't seen her nor talked to her since then.

What will you pick as your screen name (and alias if asked)?
JesusReborn1999 cause why the f not.

What are your thoughts on the project?
Phbbbbt, I guess it is alright. sure it is a cool way to get things off your chest but I personally don't like the idea. It is crap that we are forced to talk with somebody we probably don't know. But hey, it is a grade that will allow me to pass the class so I am willing to do it.

Anything else you'd like to add?
Uh yeah, you got any food to eat cause I am really hungry now.

Dionysus and Mark

God Name: Dionysus

Human Name: Mark Julius Thant, Jules or Mark as his friends call him

Human's Age: 20

God's History: Dionysus! Dionysus is the son of Zeus and Persephone

Human's Biography: Mark was born into poverty in the city of Nashville, Tennessee. His mother was a common hooker and his father, a worthless scum bag who payed extra to knock up a sixteen year old. Mark was a product of what is considered common place in a world where parties meant getting drunk and getting laid. His whole world was imperfect in his own eyes. He watched every day as his mother came home at night with maybe fifty bucks in hand, her makeup smeared, and obvious signs that work had 'gone well'.

All of this, in Mark's eyes, was the cause of many of his troubles. His mother would often date the wrong men and, when the relationship fell through, would turn to drinking heavily at parties where she sold herself out to any person willing. On those nights, Mark wouldn't even come home. He would spend his night with the only person he felt he could trust, Pastor Julian Oppeninger. The Pastor understood Mark's plight for he had grown up in a similar situation on the streets of Los Angeles. The Pastor would comfort Mark with his guitar as they sat together in the Church.

Mark never excelled in School and was often considered awkward by everybody else in the school. He would not leave his home and go party with them nor would he even consider touching a drop of alcohol when offered a flask. As such, Mark was often bullied by the other kids for being a square, nerd, queer, and basically every other word in a dictionary, though he often doubted that they would even know what that was. The only thing Mark was every good at doing was playing the guitar as he often learned from watching the Pastor play. At sixteen, Mark recived a guitar from Julian as a birthday present. That same day, his Mother disappeared form his life forever. Her pimp had been running low on cash to pay off his debts so he decided to sell off his 'weakest link' to whoever wanted her.

Mark never saw his Mother after that day but he never went to the cops. If he did, they would have just laughed him off like they do to basically everybody else who reports a missing person who lives a life like she did. Mark couldn't pay rent so he took to playing his guitar on the street. He would earn a few bucks a day if he was lucky and would often sleep at the Church. At eighteen, Mark met a band who was looking for a guitarist while he was playing on the street. That day, Mark signed on with the band called Knights of Destitution. They were a small band but he made a nice hundred bucks every couple of months as they played venues all through out Tennessee. The night before the Dark Day, the Knights had been signed to be an opener for a big country band. Mark hadn't even slept that night as he was so excited. He was sitting with his guitar in hand as he played a song of his own making when the lights went black.

The last thing he remembered was thinking of his Mother and how proud she must have been of him at that moment.

Culture:
Religion-
The majority of people in Operian worship a pantheon of Gods and Goddesses representing aspects in the world. This pantheon is referred to as The Vicarium or The Hall of Gods. There exist eight major Gods and Goddesses in The Vicarium and four beings refered to as simply the Holy Elements. Twelve minor Gods and Godessess are worshipped as well but are only considered part of the lower Vicarium. It is believed that the new King or Queen is chosen by the first of the Gods, Gezma.

Royalty-
The Royalty of Operian are believe to have been chosen and ordained by the God Gezma. The passing of King to Prince or Princess is not done in Operian. Instead, a tournament is held five years after the King takes his Oath to The Vicarium. Warriors, politicians, merchants, and even children are invited to participate. The tournament is a test of wits, strength, and determination as the participants are put through ten trials to prove that they are chosen by Gezma to rule after the King passes away. When Izmand held the tournament ten years ago, the twelve year old twins Misha and Baelorn were announced to be the first Twin King and Queen rulers of Operian when they tripped their opponent in a fight and caused him to fall and crack his head on a stone, knocking him unconscious.

Marriage-
Marriage in Operian is done outside and at night time only. It is essentially a ritual to the Godess Miriam, Mother of the Moon and Fertility. When a man wishes to marry a woman, they must spend an entire week offering animals and wheat to Miriam. If Miriam believes in their love, the two would be allowed to marry under the moon. Such a blessing would be interpreted by an oracle or a star-reader. No dowries are exchanged in marriages nor are parties held. Instead, the parties connect together as one family and combine their estates together. As such, many families in Operian are large.

Providencal-
Operian is a Kingdom with three providences. The providence of Kemin is home to Jueria, the capital of Operian. It runs along the north-south flowing river known as Tamist. Kemin is ruled over by the King of Operian himself and flourishes under his patronage. The second providence is that of Pimmin ruled by Duke Jirmin. It runs along the river of Hasig which connects directly to the Tamist further north of the river Kallisk. The kind Duke allows the peasants as much freedom as they require to do their jobs and as such Pimmin is the most industrial of the providences. The third providence was once a vassal of Operian known as Juriba and runs along the river of the Kallisk. Gerask is still ruled over by their Duchess Ulisse and is still mostly free to function however the Duchess sees fit.

Military:
The military of Operian is led by the High General Ricard Pixt and has a long standing history of fighting skirmishes rather than full on battles. The forces of Operian are small compared to most others but fight by ambushing their target in the dead of night and leaving few signs that they were there. Their navy is quite the same by attacking in dead of night and using the many reefs around the coast to trap enemy ships and blockade incoming supplies. The quick ships of Operian are often manned by the exact same soldiers of land who practice ambushes against larger foes. Horses are in short supply in Operian and, as such, cavalry is nearly nonexistent in the military and are often used for carrying supplies when needed. The archers of Operian fire from the high hills and cliffs throughout the Kingdom when it is assaulted.

Economy:
The lands of Operian are mostly forests and rough hills and as such are not known for being great for farming. Much of Operian's economy relies on logging, fishing, and mining as an income. Hunters and pelt traders make a good sum of money as well but is minor compared to the other three functions in Operian. The Mountains of Ovet are rich in iron, gold, copper, and tin but mostly lacking in fine jewels such as emeralds, rubies, diamonds, and amethysts. Opals and topazes can be found occasionally when digging deeper into the mountain but this is rare.

Reputation:
The Kingdom of Operian is reputated to be a nation which strikes like a snake. It is rare for an enemy soldier to come back from battle alive when assaulting the lands of Operian. On the other hand, Operian soldiers aren't good at assaulting foreign lands. Some believe the Baelorn is as corrupt as a merchant prince while his sister Misha is out fighting wolves rather than preparing for Queenhood. It is even believed the Izmand's daughter Kotari if less like a princess and more like a general in battle when she sparring words with people. Some people would even say the Izmand's own wife is having a little action on the side with some sort of muse of her's.

History:
Operian was formed a mere six hundred years ago when the Kingdom of Loupist fell to a rebellion. Operian was the outcome of the rebellion and was formed by the King Higor. It was Higor who was chosen by Gezma to lead Operian and as such he continued on the tradition by performing a tournament to decide his heir. Early on in Operian's history, a few supporters of Loupist were still alive and tried to over throw the Kingdom despite the fact that it was unsupported. Assassination attempts weren't rare for Higor and he had long grown use to the near constant attempt on his life. Higor tore down the town of Iman from Loupist's time and built over it Jueria and the temple to Gezma. The city of Jueria has been growing rapidly since then.

Operian had a rather peacful existence aside from all of that. The skirmishes by tribes north of Operian were easily repelled by Operian's army. Pirates were kept in check by the navy easily enough. Relations were amazing between Operian and their southern most neighbor Juriba. The only war Operian was every involved in was a massive band of sixty northern raiders which numbered in nearly hundred thousand soldiers. Their mostly organized assault was slowed by the freezing cold of winter and broken apart by the small skirmish forces of Operian who easily set traps and used their large spy network to sow the seeds of dissent in the forces. Within months, nearly half of the forces deserted or were killed and the other half had nearly no moral and supplies. The war was over before spring came.

Relations with Juriba was prosperous not to long after that as it came to light the Operian was basically a protectorate of the small Juriba. It was proposed early on in their relationship that Juriba became a vassal of Operian. But, it wasn't until King Izmand's marriage to Princess Tamrie of Jurida that they became one. As a sign of their trust, Ulisse handed over Juriba and Tamrie over to Izmand. Izmand had an uneventful first few years of marriage until, a year after their marriage his daughter Kotari was born. But recent events have taken a turn for the worse as a terrible drought has left the country reeling on low supplies while merchants gorge themselves on imported meats and cheeses.

Misc:

Vassals of the Kingdom of Operian

House Jirmin
Ruled by Ormand Jirmin, Duke of Pimmin. The Duke is a kind old man of 65, known for his lenience with the peasantry. He is however not known for being brave or eager to do battle, having earned him the nickname “Duke Delay” among his less friendly acquaintances. The Duke lost his wife and children to sickness a few years ago, but his younger sister Sasha, 45, still lives.

The Jirmins are beloved and respected by their people, and are in turn loyal to the crown. They have never given cause for discord, although they have never really committed to any military campaign. There are rumors circulating about the Dukes sister Sasha, claiming she is heavily indebted to one of the more prominent merchant guilds.

House Ulisse
Ruled by Nadiege Ulisse, Duchess of Juriba. The Duchess is a woman of 55 years of age and is known all across the realm as a potent politician and ruler. Her family consists of her husband Jean, 56, and their two daughters Queen Tamrie Louzbain and her younger sister Sabine.

The Ulisses are known for their great independence. The Duchess is a hard woman with the needs of her people foremost in mind. They are loyal to the crown and have proven that loyalty many times, but some say that if push comes to shove the Duchess will choose Juriba over Operian.

Size: 5'6, 142 lbs
Physical Shape: Tori is in rather good shape but she isn't muscular. The majority of her weight is untoned muscle with very little fat on her body. The majority of her muscle is in her legs, abs, and triceps.
Age: 20
Personality: Tori is most definitely not brave. She would rather not fight any infected unless she is cornered. But, she cares for other people and isn't willing to leave them along with a group of infected so long as she and the others could fight the group and survive. She'd rather play it on the safe side and hide out for the night than to risk encountering infected in the dark. Occasionally Tori has difficulty staying calm under pressure but she is certainly capable of calming down easily.
Occupation: Studying Hydroculture in college with a minor study in Horticulture
Equipment: A pair of size 6 hiking boots, a black leather vest, green cargo pants, a plain grey t-shirt, and a blue and black button up.
Inventory: Five bottles of water, a pack of cigarettes, a half-full lighter, deodorant, a bed roll, a picture of her father, first of the Harry Potter books, a box of crackers, two cans of beans, a can opener, and a Rubik's cube.
Weapons: A used machete, pocket knife with a seven inch blade, and a tire iron.
Background: The daughter of a Pharmacist and Nurse, Tori grew up a rather nice life. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Maria Haven and Julio Pesa. Tori was the oldest child, and only surviving child, of three. Her life was rather uneventful until, when she was eight, her mother and two brothers were killed in a side on collision with a drunk driver. Tori spiraled into depression after their death while her father threw himself into work to cope with the pain. She rarely saw her father in the four years after their death while she turned to cutting herself to relieve her pain. On the anniversary of the accident, Tori tried to commit suicide and was sent to a counseling center for a summer.

Her life changed totally after being in what was basically rehab for an entire summer. She started to actually attend her classes in school and devoted herself to forwarding her life. Tori started a garden after coming back as a form of coping rather than going on with her life like she had before. Meanwhile, her Father continued working late nights and early mornings in obvious pain until he met Melanie Finch, a young woman of twenty-eight who had recently come to his work as a pharmacy technician. Tori watched as her Father slowly slipped away from her and towards Melanie. Eventually, Tori grew distant with her father and decided that she would move out the moment she was accepted to college. And so, Tori moved out of her childhood house and into an apartment with a friend of hers who was going to the same college as her. Tori never though that zombies could have actually happened and wasn't planning for it to happen as it did. When the government started making safe areas, Tori and her best friend had been driving to Georgia to get into a camp. By the time they reached a camp, they had shut down the admission of new people.

An island in the middle of an endlessly blue sea. A war which drove humanity to the brink of destruction. The testimony of an explorer of a Land of Gods far across an the Endless Sea. The beginning of a New Age for humanity.

Long ago, long before anybody alive was born, a war was waged between humans and a sort of Neo-humans. The War progressed for many decades with neither side gaining ground. Caskets couldn't be made fast enough to bury the dead on both sides. The Neo-Humans had the upper hand though. They unlocked more of the natural powers their bodies had as generations advanced forward. Eventually, their soldiers were capable of hardening the muscles in their body like steel to block attacks. Humans started to die more often than the Neo-Humans. As the war went on Humans were left with only one option of surviving, the power of nukes. The nuclear weapons of a bygone age were rebuilt to be fired at the poles in order to flood the world, destroying the Neo-Humans and a large majority of humanity in the process.

Cities were built underwater and in the skies by the Human nations which remained. Citizens were moved to to the cities before the bombs fell and were spared death by the hands of their own race. And so, the War ended as Neo-Humans disappeared from the sight of the Human forces. With their foe believed dead, Humans returned to their lives in their new cities. Unbeknownst to humanity, Neo-Humans did indeed survive and, rather than killing humanity, mixed with them in order to survive. All across the world human children were born with the strength to harden their bodies, move faster than the human eye can see, and attack with a force which could break bones.

These children would grow up to become great adventurers and warriors of the seas and skies. Beasts all over the world were mutated by the radiation to create monsters larger than anything humans could fight agains normally. One of the Half-breeds was known as Thomas Black, a protector of the people and explorer. Nearly a hundred years ago, Thomas Black supposedly made land fall on an island larger than any other in the ocean. He called it the Land of Gods where people who were powerful enough to destroy a mountain lived. He himself was said to have defeated their Lords, beings powerful enough to destroy the Island if they so wished. But, Black returned without proof and was heralded a Liar before dying from a disease. Before he died though, he left behind a map hidden on an unknown island which supposedly lead to the Land of Gods. And, it was also believe to have lead to a treasure beyond all measure.

Ask a dozen children in a Elementary school in every Country in the world and they will give you a dozen different answers at every school. Ask a dozen adults stuck in a desk job the exact same thing and you may get two or three answers. The definition of a Hero is fluid. It depends on how your early life was, how you understand the world at large, and how you see the world. A starving child would call the man who gave them a weeks worth of food a hero. The homeless person sitting in a cardbord box in the alleyway would call the woman who gave them a hotel room for a week a hero.

Superheroes were designed by Humanity to do what the average person can't. They can change the lives of millions just by living and save thousands with their actions. But, every Superhero has always had a villan no matter what. There is always somebody who tries to thwart their plans. Yet, every human is taught that life quite simply isn't so black and white. Sometimes a hero kills the villan to save the city. Does the act of saving the city truly outweigh the act of taking a life? Is the hero truly better than the villan when he was so willing to kill a person? If a hero can kill once than what is there stop him from doing it again. And again. And again.

When the Oracle came we all thought it to be a miracle. A perfect sphere which looked as if it was made from pure silver just appears in the sky above Earth. It doesn't come crashing down nore does it try and assault us. It just sits in the sky and watches Earth like an Oracle. About a month after its apperance, people all across Earth started developing powers. One person could teleport as far as his eyes could see. Another could harden her body into what was essentially a metal. No one person had the same power as another and no one person could be controlled by those without powers. Criminals started to use their powers to perform their crimes. The Feds tried to control them but ended up pass the Citizens with Powers Act which gave those with powers free reign to use them as they wished. Entire cities became domain to those powerful enough to control them.

In New York City, a Power wielder known as Powder Keg claimed domain around thirty years back. Under his Tyranny, New York City was encased by a reflective field made by a Power wielder known only as Reflect. Nobody could leave nor enter New York City without the permission of Powder Keg. The subways became homes for refugees from destroyed sections of the city and also home to rebels. Those who resisted Powder Keg and his Gang were made into examples for the others. The seemingly invincible Powder Keg has ruled New York City for thirty years but the time has come for his rule to come to an end. Rumors run around of a man capable of killing Powerder Keg known only as Light. Hundreds gather in an underground station to meet Light, few may join him.

Love has existed since the creation of this small world we live on. Since the very beginning of life there has been love. But, Humans were truly the ones who personified love. Our capability to love a partner for more than just their physical capabilities placed us at the head of the leaderboards when it came to love. No matter what, a man or woman could love their partner for who they are rather than what they look like or their genes. If their love was true enough, a couple would be capable to surpass anything including mental diseases. There are hundreds, possibly thousands, of couples out there who have watched as one of the partners involved in the realtionship fall deeper and deeper into the pit of mental disease.

A man can watch his wife of twenty years suffer from dementia and still stay with her. While some people would leave the moment they realized that their partner wasn't perfect, there are others out there who will stay with them no matter what. I once heard a story of a woman who had come back from war and was suffering from PTSD. One night, it was particularly bad and she was alone in her house. She heard the door open and close downstairs and rushed to get her gun from her night stand. She waited for the intruder to enter and, when he flipped on a light, she shot him right in the chest. The intruder turned out to be her husband coming home from a late night of work. He was in surgery for three hours before he came back out. It was a success but his wife was killing herself from grief.

He told her that she wasn't to blame, that it wasn't her fault, and that he would stay with her no matter what. The husband stayed true to his word and stayed with his Wife. Now, put yourself in the exact same position as the husband. If your wife shot you because of PTSD would you really stay with her? Would you be willing to work with her to ease the guilt from shooting you and help her overcome her PTSD? Half of you might say yes, half might say no. The point is, those half who say yes show that humans truly are the best at love. We might make wars like they're candies but they don't overshadow all the love we are capable of. Those soldiers who fight terrorist organizations looking to destroy our worlds do it not just because they believe the terrorist evil but also because of their loved ones back at home.

The soldiers fight for a better world for their family and friends. I never quite understood why people were always disgusted by war. From my view, war wasn't necessary but the fact that our soldiers were willing to go out of their way to protect us and our world as it is shows the depth of their love for loved ones. Yet, there are those who believe that humans can only love as much as they hate. I call that true for you can hate somebody enough to committ murder but you can love somebody enough to die for them. Most people would call me crazy for having even written this but I don't give a fuck. I'm seventeen, never had a partner, and yet I feel as if this is the truth behind the human capability to love.

"Fear not the Night
Dear Child of Light
For though Shadows and Beasts Roam
A Rider dressed in Grey rides to save thy Home

In the Blackest Darkness
Men and Women are Hopless
Yet, Thy shall be saved by a Rider
His blade strikes true to protect though an Outsider

They who live in the darkest Forests
Together Thy voices cry in Chorus
For they are the Grey
The ones who Slay"

-Ode to the Grey Riders

The Northern Realms have existed for many centuries in peace with each other. The cold Summers and even colder Winters provide little time for making War even if they wanted to. Yet, the North is also the last bastion of Beasts. These creatures born from the darkness hunt man as one would hunt a wounded dear. When Night arrives, the North hides in their homes and bar the windows and doors. Yet, the Beasts are also being hunted as they hunt Humans. Their hunters are known simply as the Grey Riders, Grey, or sometimes Fiends by the common folk. The Grey hunt the Beasts in their natural territory to protect the people of the North.

Every twenty-five years, the Grey open the doors to their keep, High Watch. Hundreds of recruits pour in accompanied by a Hunter who had decided they were skilled enough to join. Many enter the halls of High Watch yet few leave. Those who do leave, are bound by the Oath to keep all that is inside a secret to their death. Many commoners believe that the Grey kill the majority of recruits who come and consume their flesh though, when asked, a Hunter will simply say that they aren't cannibals. But those rumors often fade away quickly after the Hunters kill Beasts in the area.

You are one of the many who have been chosen to go through the Gauntlet to become a member of the Grey. Your worth will be proven through the months spent training with the Grey and, should you pass, you may will go through the Initiation. But few survive training with them and fewers survive the Initiation. But, something has disturbed the natural order of Tetras and now the Grey have opened their doors much earlier than they previously had. Beasts have been seemingly retreating from their territory and the Realms are on the brink of War. All that the world requires is a single spark to ignite the fuse and it could explode into Chaos. The Grey hope to prevent this but even they are stumped by the disapperance of Beasts.

Artifical

So you took their deal, you traded your humanity for a chance to continue living. Or, perhaps your loved one traded their humanity to live. It doesn't matter which way your life has gone all that matters is that its fate is no longer in your hands. Then again, you ask anybody else and they'll tell you that this was your fate. You or your loved one didn't want to die so you became Artifical. You became one of the many cyborgs wandering throughout the cities who are constantly indebted to the makers of your cybernetic parts. Never in your life time nor the life time of your great-grandchildren would you be able to pay them off to own them so you live a life on the run from collectors seeking to steal your rightfully owned parts, the same things which allow you to live.

Or, perhaps you are working for the very same people hunting down other Artificals. You made a deal with them and decided that it was better to live and hunt down people who are the same as you so that you may live. Those in the streets call you a monster, betraying your own kind just for a chance to live. You might secretly hate yourself for it or perhaps you hate who you work for for forcing you into a such a situation. Perhaps you curse society, God, the president, or even the very event which caused you to need a cybernetic part. Survival has been the name of the game for Artificals for years as they've been hunted and force to work until they die.

"What is the greatest lie every created? What is the most vicious obscenity ever perpetrated on mankind? Slavery? The Holocaust? Dictatorship? No. It's the tool with which all that wickedness is built: altruism." -Andrew Ryan

Andrew Ryan was a man with a deam of a city, nay a country, where men who worked for what they had could live without fear of the government controlling them. In turn, he created the city of Rapture where the working man could keep what he earned. A city where everybody worked for their position in life and weren't given it. Where failures were their fault and not the fault of an person supporting them. Scientist could work without fear of the government stealing their work. Where an artist could full realize their full capacity of their creations and were not limited by the laws imposed on them by society.

Comstock stylized himself a prophet of God and that his will was God's will. He wanted to create a Heaven on Earth where the white man and woman could live their lives without the influence of the 'lower races'. He established Columbia as a Heaven on Earth for his people. The Church was always right in Columbia and all white humans lived in peace from the government controlled world down below. Comstock's floating city was a mecca for all God Fearing whites in America.

Yet, both Andrew and Comstock had failed. Rapture had been built to house those who wished to be free of 'parasites' but had parasites welcomed at their gates as well. Columbia had been rotten from the core, a city established on a lie from a man outside of his own reality. In both Columbia and Rapture it had taken only one man to build the city and one man to make it all fall. Their dreams were weak and the ground they were established on was also weak. They built their cities on their shoulders and they were weak like the men who relied on others. Arcadia is not weak for it is not built on one man's shoulders nor from one man's dream.

Arcadia was built on the dream of thousands of men and women looking to leave behind their government controlled lives to start anew. Our majestic city was not built by one man, not ruled by one man, not designed by one man but made by the thousands who have come to live here. They determined the rules of Arcadia, where it would be built, and how it would be made. Their dreams together are stronger and thus Arcadia is stronger. It will not fall like Rapture and Columbia had. At least, that is what the people of Arcadia believe but, like all good things, there is an end. A few months back, seven representative of the United Nations were sent to the 'colony' of Arcadia. They have not been heard from since and in turn the United Nations has sent a team of hand selected men and women to investigate into the happenings of Arcadia. They are due for arrival on Friday 13, 2182.

If you've read this far then you've made it farther than I actually thought anybody would have. This roleplay is set in the year 2182, a hundred years since space travel became efficent enough for anybody to be willing to spend money on it. Thirty years before the events in this roleplay construction began on the city of Arcadia, a veritable haven for those looking to be free from government control. It is unkown why Arcadia was built on the distant, Earth-like planet of Izota. All that is known about Arcadia is that a thousand private citizens from various nations, who's names have never been released or know, payed for the establishment of Arcadia and that the nearly hundred thousand citizens payed a meager amount of five hundred bucks for all of their possessions and themselves to be taken to Arcadia by the giant of the space travel industry, Atlas Industries. You'll play characters who have been hand picked by the United Nations to investigate the disapperance of their representative and the general silence from Arcadia in the past few months.

The deadly abilities of Plasmids and Vigors will be turned down for characters who are not a member of the military and have gone through the proper training to use it. The Vigor Shock Jockey will only allow the user to create an electrical charge through something they are holding or touching and will instantly dissapate should the object leave the users hand if they have not had training in its use. Electro Bolt will do the same thing as they are basically the same thing. Incinerate will only allow the user to produce a flame on their body or any item they are holding without training. I'm sure y'all get the point now as I don't really wish for combat to be the focus of this roleplay. There will be points through out the story where you will have to fight but they will be few. Anyway, enough fo my rambling on and let me hear what you guys think of this idea.

Aeon: The Blackened Warriors of Aetherium

Species Name: Illian
Species Appearance: Illians look like humans from a distance but have several defining features which differ from humans. All Illians are born with four long ears with tufts of ear on the ends. The long ears extend three inches out from the side of the head for the big ears and two inches for the small ears. The upper parts of the ears of females curve inward and slightly down from their base to a half inch out though this is mostly from softer caritlage falling down. The second, smaller set of ears connect directly to the inner ears of the first set. Illians can slightly rotate their ears up and down to better recieve sounds. Illians also have short, hairless tails until the very tip where there is a tuft of fur a shade darker than their actual hair. Their noses are tipped with the sort of leathery nostrils that you see on a cat.

Male Illians do not grow beards nor mustaches and instead grow sideburns and elbow hair. All Illians have bushy eyebrows, though males generally grow thicker eyebrows. Males typically wear their hair in short, high ponytails on top of their typical hair cuts while females wear their hair in four long braids at the end. Males stand anywhere from five feet and four inches to six feet and two inches weigh anywhere from a hundred and sixty pounds to two hundred and thirty pounds. Females stand from five feet to five feet and eleven inches as well as weighing anywhere from a hundred an twenty pounds to a hundred and seventy pounds. Illians are born in pairs or some times triplets.
Location in the World: Illians are semi-nomadic with the occasional tribe building houses around rivers. The huts which Illians build are easily collapsable and can be set up rather quickly. Their houses are built from skins with a central support pole and skins lain on the ground.
Species History:The history of the Illians is a convoluted one. History is a verbal one for Illians and has never been allowed to be written in any form and may only be told to other Illians. Some Elders say that their people came from the southern continent across the land bridge many eons ago to Lydia. Other Elders say that their people had been on Lydia long ago, before even humans came about. The majority of nomadic Illians believe that they had come across the Erbethan Landbridge while the Illians who are stationary believe that their ancestors were born in Lydia. The one thing both sides agree on is that the early Illians were extremely violent. Tribal wars against each other were not rare and many souls were lost before they called down. The tribal wars lasted for nearly a hundred years before the tribes became more peaceful.

Though, this does not mean that the tribes didn't still war. Wars just began to happen less after the hundred years after. Marriages became often between two different tribes to lessen the tension between the tribes. Eventually, each tribe became entwined with each other in some way. Over many centuries, the Illians have become more peaceful and some have begun to turn towards a sedentary life rather being nomadic. Illians who live a nomadic life trade wood and antler carvings for grains, which are the staple of their vegetarian diet. Illians typically eat grains, berries, and fish as a part of their diet. Sedentary Illians typically grow and fish their own food but will occasionally trade for more grain if the harvesting season didn't go well.

Overall, the culture of the Illians is unknown to outsiders. Illians do not trust outsiders in their villages and those who do come to their villages to trade are required to stay outside the walls while all the items agreeded upon are gathered. All Illians are taught from birth to never harm any animals without good reason. Even the fish caught are quickly killed in the most humane way they know. The antler carvings which Illians produce are from shedings produced yearly. Illian children aren't allowed outside of their villages until the reach the age of twenty and even then, Illian children are required to travel in pairs and return after a year to determine if they will stay or leave. Those who choose to leave are allowed to come back whenever they wish but still must never tell anybody about their life before leaving. Illians typically wear clothing which is very loose fitting and thin even in the colder portions of Lydia. Light colors are typically found in their clothing and pure black is extremely rare to find. Illian males are trained how to fight from an early age so as to protect the tribe or village.

Species: Snowdrop Dragon

Name: Minim

Age: 6 months

Appearance: Despite bearing the name of 'Dragon', a Snowdrop Dragon is actually a mimicry of a dragon. Snowdrop Dragons are lizards which have a pair of leathery wings like a dragon which are capable of flight but do not grow as big as dragons nor do they have the typical scales of a dragon. Minim is no exception. She's a white-green color of Snowdrop Dragon having been born in the forested area around Juri's home. She is a mere two feet long and her wings aren't fully developed yet for long flight but they extend out a foot an a half from the tip of one wing to Minim's body. She stands at barely a foot tall. Snowdrop Dragons grow to be a mere eight feel tall with wingspans of ten feet and a length of thirteen feet at the age of two.

Equipment: Minim has a personally made set of hardened leather armor. The leather armor covers her back and underside while allowing a rather long range of motion. The leather armor also attaches at the base of the net and runs up to cover the top of Minim's head and lace behind her ears. A set of leather laces lightly over her wings with a piece of sharpened metal attached to the end facing her head for combat. The final piece of Minim's armor is a piece of leather which laces around the end of her tail and has small pieces of metal sown into the leather, sort of like a gauntlet.

Evia Persim, The Wandering Scholar

Age: 22

Gender Female

Appearance: Evia is unusual for her people for she has red hair rather than the normal blonde and brunette. Her hair is long with the ends of her braids reaching nearly the middle of her back. The tuft of fur at the end of her tail is a dark red, nearly scarlet, in color. Evia has undersized ears to the rest of people with them only extending an inch and half, from base to tip, for the first set and a half inch for the second set. Evia is taller than most people in her tribe at an impressive six feet and two inches while weighing a hundred an eighty-six pounds. Her lithe figure should not be taken as weak as the majority of her weight is pure muscle.

Armor: Evia's armor was made for her by her father before she left the village. It is a simple set of hardened leather three layers thick with each layer a third of an inch thick stitched together. All pieces of the leather were collected from the dead animals on their island who had died naturally. Evia wears a cuirass, two bracers, and two leather greaves. As part of her village's custom, Evia's armor has scales collected from fish sewn onto it giving it a blue-green coloration.

Clothing: Evia has four sets of blue, cotton shirts which lace up at the front. Her pants are made of cotton and are light green in color. She often wears a pair of gloves made from woven cotton to cover the tattoos from her tribe on her hands. Her shoes are made from wooden flats with woven cotton wrapped around them and in the form of closed-toe shoes.

Weapons: Unlike most of the females from her tribe, Evia is untrained in the use of a spear and instead uses two swords. Well, technically she uses a short sword with a two feet long blade and a sword with a with a three and a half feet long blade. Even though Evia knows how to use a bow, she doesn't actually carry one with her.

Miscellaneous Items: Evia carries everything thing she owns, excluding her swords, in a knapsack she keeps slung over her shoulder. Inside she has a thick, cotton bound book with nearly two hundred pages, twenty of which have been written on. She also carries with her a bottle of ink, three quills, and a seaweed wrapped sack of grains and fish. She also has two loaves of wheat bread with dried nuts mixed in.

Biography: Evia was not born in the normal city of her kind in Lydia. Instead, her tribe had taken their isolationism to an extreme. The Illian tribe of Hasi, which Evia was born into, had left Lydia fifty years before Evia was born to live on an island further north where they could be entirely sure their secrets would be safe. The Hasi tribe established a small settlement on the island they came to call Ilpa. Ilpa was a small island with a mountain at the northern end and high cliffs all around the island. A small river lead up to a lake between the cliffs on the west side. Further inland were forests of evergreens and plentiful amounts of deer.

The tribe settled around the lake and, with the wheat and corn seeds they had brought with them, established their farms along the river. Many fish lived in the lake as it seemed the lake was a sort of breeding place for the fish in summers. Wild walnuts and pecans grew throughout the island which the Hasi made use of by mixing it into their bread. This small, isolated society was one which Evia knew well. Her father was the chieftain of the tribe, a young Illian of thirty-two years, and her mother a cotton weaver, she was twenty-two years old. Evia never knew her mother long for she had caught a fatal illness the winter following Evia's birth.

Evia would have been raised to use a spear as most females in her tribe were if she hadn't been the chieftain's child. But, since the child of the chieftain will take over his position when he dies, she was trained in the use of swords as weapons as well as bows. She would sit through the lessons, the beatings when she failed, and the long history lessons led by her Elders. Evia was taught the rules of her people including never telling about their history nor about how she was raised on Ilpa. She was a slacker though and would often spend her time in the forests around the mountain which her tribe had come to call Ulism. It was Evia who first encountered the Snowdrop Dragons which were native to Ilpa.

Most of her tribe feared these Dragon-like creatures for they believed that they would consume them like an actual, feral dragon would have. But the snowdrop dragons were peaceful and not even actual dragons. Instead, the snowdrop dragons occasionally descended from Ulism to hunt deer, fish, and occasionally give birth to new eggs. When everybody noticed that the snowdrop dragons were peaceful, they began to accept them and realize they were not dragons. Evia had a knack for caring for snowdrop dragons and would occasionally bring fresh fish to feed to them when she could. She, of course, got in trouble for this as it often meant she was giving away fish that could have been eaten.

Like many of her race, Evia left her village when she turned twenty with her friend Limea. The pair sailed to Lydia and traveled along the coast. Evia was amazed by the beauty of the world outside of Ilpa and decided to begin writing about it. After buying a book, quills, and ink at the market, Evia wrote about everything she had seen and heard while she and Limea were outside of Ilpa. But, Limea wasn't as excited about Lydia as Evia was. Limea wanted to go back to Ilpa and stay away from the strange culture of the lydians. She would stay with Evia until they had to come back but she would only ever stay outside of cities at their camp while Evia wandered the city.

A year later, Evia had filled an entire book with the things she had found in Lydia. She handed the book to her Elders and told them that inside was everything she discovered about the people in Lydia. I was obvious to everybody that Evia had chosen to leave Ilpa not to long after having come back. So, for four months they rushed to ready supplies for Evia including a thick book and armor. During this time Evia met a small snowdrop dragon, one which she has come to call Minim. Minim was unique for she was born a white-green color unique only to a few snowdrop dragons born on Ilpa. Minim's egg had been abandoned in the forest when Evia found it and decided to raise the egg. Three weeks before Evia left, Minim hatched from her egg to meet a happy, young Illian who was more than willing to keep her.

Evia left with Minim on her shoulder and all the supplies the village had put together for her over the four months she have been on Ilpa. She left the island with only two things to tell her father, "I will come back but I will learn as much as possible about the outside world before I come back." Evia had promised her father that she would be back no matter what and that she would indeed take over the position of chieftain when she came back. So, Evia and the three week old Minim set out to travel through Lydia. She once again took to writing about what she saw and heard but added to it a study of animals and plants she found in Lydia. Nearly six months after Evia left Ilpa, she happened upon a poster calling for people to become a person's guard. Evia decided to do it simply to see what she could learn about these places she had never heard about. Not too long after, Evia arrived at Lenaya asking for directions to the Golden Guar.

Extra: Evia is a tad bit too trusting of people. As she has lived among her own for most of her life, Evia doesn't understand that most people in Lydia are likely to mislead her or trick her for coin. Because of this, Evia doesn't actually have any money with her since she spent the last of her money on a severely overpriced bottle of ink to replace her empty one.

Age: 30
Gender: Female
Height and Weight: 5'7 and 152lbs
Brief Personality: The one word which describes Maria best begins with a B and ends with -itch. She couldn't really care less for others unless they are actually helping. If they have a use, then Maria will like them and only if they have a use. Maria's moral compass doesn't quite point north nor south so she is willing to do what she needs to to survive just short of killing an unarmed person. That is, unless said unarmed person attacked first. In that case, they are as good as dead after getting the shit punched out of them.
Background: Maria was born into a world which she spent only a third of her life in. she was ten when the bombs fell and her entire World was torn apart like paper in a shredder. She survived out of the millions, nay billions of people who died. One can only imagine what it must have been like for the young Maria to be thrown into a world where laws didn't exist anymore, where murder was normal, and where her parents were nothing more than a burden, an anachronism to a time when morals mattered. Maria was lucky to have survived even a year in the care of her parents who trusted everybody they came across unfaultingly only for them to rob them blind every time. Eventually the three came across a group of survivors who put an end to Maria's foolish parents.

For nearly a year Maria hated the people who saved her. They called themselves 'The Mountaineers' and took Maria out of the mostly abandoned New England further south following the Appalachian Mountains. She was like a pet to them, a creature they could raise to do whatever they wanted. Nobody would expect the tiny waif of a child having stolen your food and water after sitting in an abandoned building crying for her parents ya know. And so, the Mountaineers raised Maria to be bait for those who still had the morality to help a sad child. They taught her how to use a bow, skin an animal, and hunt prey silently. Eventually Maria came to realize that the Mountaineers were, twisted though their morals were, possibly the best case scenario of meeting survivors. Eventually Maria outgrew being a crying waif and became a fawningly beautiful woman who would travel with the poor lonely man who had wondered through the city for 'protection'.

Maria eventually fell in love with Marcus, a roughshod man compared to the gentler men in the mountaineers. Marcus couldn't care less for survivors who wondered the street hoping for a kind soul to help. He knew there was no such thing in this new world and he made no exceptions. But, he had always had a soft spot for Maria, the girl he had saved from an almost certain death with her parents. He was twenty-one when the bombs fell and took to drinking early after but was rescued from a pit of dispair by his friends and formed the Mountaineers. Not too long after they met Maria and rescued her as well for Marcus knew he couldn't leave her with parents who weren't willing to give up on foolish morals. But Maria loved him anyway for he had been the most amazing person she knew.

Their love didn't last long though. The Mountaineers finally got further south only to encounter raiders who attacked them. Many of both groups were injured including Maria who had gotten grazed by a bullet striking across her left shoulder. Marcus and six of the thirteen members of the Mountaineers were fatally wounded and buried in shallow graves marked only by a pile of stones over them. The Mountaineers fell apart without Marcus and eventually Maria took to traveling alone for a long time. Maria traveled for a good year before coming back to what one could consider a sort of civilization. It was a trading post of a sorts in Northern Florida that Maria had stopped at where she traded some pelts and a few damaged books for supplies. On her way in Maria met Joy, a young woman who had been born into the New World unlike Maria.

Maria easily realized how useful a girl like Joy was especially for somebody like Maria who hunted for her food rather than take supplies from others. A steady supply of food and drinking water meant that, so long as she pulled her own weight, Joy was a use to Maria. Joy happened to be on her way out when Maria met her and just happened to need somebody who was capable of teaching her how to hunt and cook food properly. Maria happend to fit the bill so Joy came with her and left the trading post for the wilderness. A year later, Maria and Joy were once again near civilization. Particularly a place only thirty miles away, a trading post often called Knight's Hold. Few people ever really speak of what the name could possibly mean but it could relate to a couple of bandits who call themselves Knights in the area.

Nomadic or Sedentary?: Nomadic
Alone or With Someone?: With Someone
Any Unsusual Traits? Does it Show Physically?: Maria has sharp growths of bones on the top of her head which extend about two inches out of her hair. She has similar growths on her elbows and knuckles but the growths on her knuckles are more thicker bones rather than growths. Her knuckles have a more limited degree of movement due to the thicker bones but she haas grown use to them.
Weapons: A Simple hunting knife with a blade length of 6 inches, a well maintained hunting bow, and a pocket knife with a four inch blade which is double edged.
Skills: In her thirty years of life, Maria has learned quite a bit about cooking and preparing food. She can tell the difference between meat that is still slightly raw and meat that is cooked edible enough to eat. She can also start a fire easily enough and set up a wind blocker to keep the fire from blowing out. If you bring Maria any small animal, rabbits and smaller, she is capable of skining it. Maria prefers to hunt silently and when she does hunt she uses a well maintained hunting bow. She can hit a target that is moving slowly but can't actually hit a quick target or one which is moving about suddenly. Maria is also a thief from her many years with the Mountaineers.
Other Maria is traveling with Joy Carter.

"Two years ago we faced an extermination level event. Our lives were destroyed by an infectious fungus which killed and took over the body of the host. When the host died, its body would explode releasing spores to infect those nearby. The Churches declared it a curse from God and that only prayer to devotion to him coulld save your soul. This isn't the story of how the Governments fell. Nay, it is the story of how the Governments stood by us while we died. They bled as we bled. In America, the President spoke that if this fungus was God's will then he would fight against that God no matter what. When he took ill from the fungus, he declared his body to be incenerated so that the fungus would not spread.

When the Pope died, the Church blamed us for not praying for his health. They said that, because of our lack of prayer, we could no longer contact our almighty lord to save us. The Church fell apart while our governments stood against the pandemic even while their key members died. And yet, the Church wished for us to believe in them and nobody else for they had all the 'answers' that we asked for. They were frauds asking the blind to allow them to lead them. And like a blind man, we followed them down the pathway they guided us. Many people died on that pathway but we eventually found our way when we were lost. So, I ask you here today, which would you have trusted? Would you have followed the Church like a blind man or would you have followed the Governments who died while attempting to save us? Look into yourself and determine the answer." - Pastor Johannes Mighalm of the New Order

In a massive terrorist attack ten years ago, bombs released the spores of a genetically engineered fungus which latched on to whatever living animal it landed on. The fungus would then proceed to infect all parts of the body and eventually mature. After about three days, those infected with the fungus would no longer function and would just collapse or be found in their homes sitting still. A day later, they would 'die' and fungal spores would be released to latch on to those nearby. The fungus would then proceed to trick the brain stem into believing the body was alive. The network of fungus which had infested the entire body by this point would then act as a sort of nervous system. The possibility of recovery from the fungus had a one percent chance and the chance of immunity was one thousandth of a percent. The only way to kill those infected who have been brought back is by using fire to burn the body otherwise it would still be able to function.

Despite the many attempts to supress the spread of the fungus, the governments of the world failed to do more than slow its spread. The fungus quickly infected the soldiers deployed to make sure quarantines stayed in place. It became lass obvious on the outside in the first few days of its infection. More and more government officals died as the fungus worked its way into the depth of their organizations. But, before the governments fell apart, safe zones were constructed. Buildings were quarantined off from the outside world and made into safe zones for anybody who could get here. Enough food to last nearly a century were kept inside the safe zones for those living there. But, many safe zones were quickly overun by a flood of civilians and could not provide enough food to last that long. A bustling set of buildings in a Safe Zone just inside of Manhattan in New York City has begun to run short on their food. A team is put together of volunteers who are willing to go out and find food, bottled water, and any weapons they can carry with them. Their mission will determine whether or not the Safe Zone will survive much longer or fall into chaos.

Hello and welcome to The Darkest Days, an apocalyptic roleplay of my own design. On September 21st, 2018, a unknown terrorist organization struck major cities all across the world. Paris, London, Rome, New York City, and various others were hit by small bombs carrying not radioactive materials but a genetically manufactured fungus by the terrorists for not just killing the host but spreading the spores rapidly. Upon death, boils on the body of the host will explode releasing the spores and, about an hour later, the fungus will trick the brain into believing the body alive. The system of the fungus then mimics thee nervous system by carrying orders to the limbs of the bodies.

Those of you who are interested will take the roles of characters who have volunteered to go outside Safe Zone 88, located in Manhattan. Safe Zone 88 ecompasses the insides of St. Patrick's Cathedral and the grounds outside of it. Safe Zone 88 holds around a thousand civilians and around a hundred armed soldiers. Around four months before we begin, the government of the United States is what one can offically call disbanded. As such, safe zones have begun to no longer recieve supply drops with food and water. Despite attempts at rationing, Safe Zone 88 begins to run low on essentials including ammo for their weapons. Up to a month before the beginning, electricity and basic plumbing was still working as it was mostly maintained by government officials.

Safe Zone 88 is one of the largest safe zones in Manhattan and one of the best armed. The soldiers who still reside in the safe zone had brought with them extra weapons before they secured the safe zone. As such, they have a supply of about six extra pistols, a set of twelve knives, and about twenty clips for the pistols. These pistols are your average, police issued Glock 17 that may or may not have been taken from a police station if the soldiers had found the need to supply the civilians with a form of self defence. I wouldn't expect your characters to be trained how to use any of these weapons with all that great of an efficency nor do I really expect them to use them. Rather, your characters probably brought some kind of weapon with them when they came to hide in Safe Zone 88. Anyway, I don't intend for the roleplay to end once we find food for the Safe Zone. It is very much possible that we may end up going on several missions to improve the Safe Zone, find more safe zones, or even find survivors. So, tell me what y'all think of this idea if you like it.
