

I had an idea for a game based around dueling robots of some sort, inspired by several fandoms involving notable dueling robots. You know like megaman/medabots/beyblade/bh6 etc. etc. that kind of thing. In this roleplay, the robots that inhabit the world are actually Extraterrestrials in origins from a distant highly advanced moon world, every MegaBot is powered by a "soul" component of sorts, or medal. Medals are important for IDing robot types, just like there are different types of earth beings, there are different types of robots. Some are elemental in nature(fire, water, light/dark, electricity, etc), some are based on animals(cats, amphibians, birds, etc) others based on archetypal concepts such as Samurai or Clerics. Some Megabots even live their lives around professions like Benders, Craftsmen or Doctors and Lawyers. Every type has a particular function or skillset they do that sets them apart from other types. Basically, there's a type for just about anything you can think of
Megabots tend to vary in weight, shape and function, but most are a little shorter than humans on average. While few others are the size of skyscrapers, these bots are very rare in design.
There are generally two types of Megabots, those who seek to coexist peacefully with their earthlings counterparts, and those who exist to conquer the human race as their masters. I'll expand more on these types of rogue Megabots later in the official topic. Generally speaking, the relationship between humans and robots is a bit mixed as Megabots are still coming into their infancy stages on planet earth, only having arrived to the planet 5 years prior, some humans warm to Megabots and others fear them, there are even anti-robot resistance groups and organizations who exist to thwart the "robo" menace.
Generally speaking most younger people have taken a special liking to Megabots, seeking out Megabots partners to train and unlock their mysterious potential as Megabot Battlers. At the heart of is the human-megabot relationship is the source of their amazing abilities. Megabots are thought to fueled by three different power sources, a purpose or function, powerful emotions such as hatred or friendship and a mysterious unknown source.(I know it's a little corny and cliche XD) Megabots are theorized to powered by emotional energies.
So basically, that's a rough outline of the roleplay. Also, you can upgrade your Megabot similar to Megaman BN and there will be something like battle experience where you can upgrade or level up a megabots battle stats(attack, hit points, speed, defense, special attack, special defense) you can acquire different types of upgrades with different attributes and such. This can only be done in the cyberspace, a type virtual world that humans and megabots can purchase and upgrade their Megabots with megabot data. So anyone interested?
