History:
Nicolas Blanc was born in New York City. An only child, he spent many of his early years as an outcast among his fellow peers. This was because young Nicolas was taking care of his bedridden mother. His father, an ambassador who was an unfaithful husband, was never home. Because of this, his upbringing was largely focused around his mother. Despite his continued attempts to care for his mother, the poor woman's health and mental health slowly deteriorated. 

To any other person, his mother's death was not his fault. However, in his mind, Nicolas blamed himself for not being able to meet her 'expectations'. "If only I played the violin better, or got all As this quarter, or..." A mere one day after the funeral, the young boy started taking up the hobbies of his dead mother, which included gardening and butterfly farming. Unfortunately, his seemingly 'normal' life ended when he was eight years old. That was when all hell broke loose, literally. Possibly the youngest person to ever learn the Blood Arts, he kept his powers hidden until Libra was formed.

Nicolas slashes the palms of his hands to create his weapon - a strand of blood that can extend and deliver immense quick blows or restrain an opponent. Multiple strands can diverge from the main one.

Physical Description:

	Sylvia's skin is tough, colored in light hues of gray with a faint blue tinge that frames her compact shape. Her body is liberally peppered with scars, and a deep jagged three-claw scar runs down her right cheek to her neck. She also has five dark lines that run along her neck on both sides. She has coal-black hair that goes down just a little below her shoulder blades and midnight blue eyes. 

One should always take care to avoid the in-built weapons Sylvia has. As a Carcharodon Xanara, she has deadly teeth that regrows when lost. She also has blades that run along her forearms; black and wickedly sharp, it only takes one simple move to slice someone open to the bone.

Magical Abilities: 

	Partial Transformation: In the water, she 'flips her tail', which is long, dark and powerful; the transition between human skin to fish tail almost indistinguishable. Clear lens appear to cover her eyes underwater and gills form along the black lines on her neck. Her jaw also expands, allowing for more than one row of teeth to form. Her senses are extremely heightened in this state and she truly becomes the king of the sea. 

	Physical Magic: Years of practice has given Sylvia the ability to effectively fight on land. She's agile, has a strong sense of smell and can pack quite a punch by using her magic to aid her physical strengths. 

	 Water Magic: Although ægirsfólk typically use physical-type magic, Sylvia has a rare form of magic that runs through her mother's bloodline that will eventually allow her to control water. However, she does not know she has the power to do so. Whether she uses the water's powers to protect or to destroy in the future lies in question. 

Quirks/Personality: 
"I can already feel the blue waves nipping at my sides, waiting to pull me under a deep dark hole. I suppose I’ll just have to learn to breathe again..."

	Despite being a predator, Sylvia is an amiable person who keeps her feelings locked away. She speaks and laughs freely, and is known to be brutally honest and ever-enduring. 	Sylvia has always longed to escape her body. She doesn't particularly enjoy being part-shark. In fact, she harbors 'romantic' ideals of ripping away her blades and running away to the warmer waters. At her core she is a ponderous creature, always locked in an almost trance-like state of thought. Some would call her a daydreamer from first glance, but a closer look would reveal that there is much more than just recipes and imaginative folly going on up there. To call her 'klutzy' would be completely wrong as she is actually quite intelligent and aware. 

Backstory:

	Sylvia's parents both come from a pure-blood line of sharks. It is even rumored that her father's line, the Arturius, had evolved from the megaladons. Long story short - the Arturius are known as the 'royalty of the Northern seas' and they control a small nation state to the North. Despite being small and very inclusive; every man, woman, child and elderly are deadly fighters. 

	Like everyone, Sylvia was born and raised to be a fighter. It was common for young adult Xanaras in the Arturius clan to become mercenaries and travel around Edolas. However, Sylvia was royalty, the youngest and the fiercest. She was attuned to the sea like no other; it was apparent that the seas flowed deep in her veins. Her father favored her over all of his other children and while Sylvia basked in love and attention, it would soon backfire on her horribly. 

	With ægirsfólk, their culture is simple; if you want to be the top, you fight for it. On Sylvia's 25th birthday, her older siblings had beckoned her to swim with them. Thinking that this was perhaps the swim that would change her relationship with her family for the better, she naively went. After all, they were of her blood and Sylvia loved each of them despite their obvious contempt towards her. She was wrong. 

	Sylvia can only remember her heart shattering into a billion pieces when her older brothers and sisters circled around her, their sharp teeth and blades flashing in the dark water. The want to live trumped her love for her siblings. She killed them all, leaving their corpses to wash up in some distant shore. Sylvia managed to swim back home, her body mangled and her eyes glazed over. Her father was away on business so it was her mother that had to deal with the fact that her youngest daughter had killed all of her siblings. Sylvia's grieving mother turned her back on Sylvia and when her father came back, he only stoically patted her back and declared her the heir to the throne the next hour. 

	The children who had once crowded her scurried away in fear. Her friends left to become mercenaries and the others either hated or feared Sylvia. 

	She felt dead inside.

Feel for element: She's excited to be so electrifying. Not only is it fascinating, her new-found powers have their uses. She cleverly incorporates her power to easily defeat her opponents. 

Appearance:

Personality:
Warm-hearted and compassionate; Sunny enjoys helping others. She is persistent, always striving for the truth and leading a respectful, dignified life. (Her powers are a part of her...skills, so it isn't technically cheating - right?) She is an extremely loyal person and often finds herself to attached to things that somehow manage to catch her interest. Sunny is extremely passionate about her job and is always willing to stretch out a hand to those in need. She's very empathetic, but is quite thick-headed when it comes down to personal relationships. Sunny chooses to live with a smile on her face and without fear clouding her judgment. 

History:
Sunny Yeom was born in a poor family, living simply and never in luxury. She never really had friends and Sunny's family found themselves in the same predicament despite Sunny and the rest of her siblings found jobs. They were still poor mainly because of the Vygoms and the oppression they face. Her parents still worked themselves to death to support their four children. However, Sunny never really let that get to her. With hard work, effort, and a lot of tears; she finally opened up her own gym.  She teaches little kids how to defend themselves for free and earns a few bucks teaching adults willing to learn. Her main income is from winning underground boxing tournaments.

The sound of calloused knuckles, wrapped only a few times with an old bloody wrap, echoed as Sunny pummeled the well worn punching bag. The tall muscled woman look stressed - if not frustrated at herself and downright frightened. Payments were peeking their sorry heads out of their hole, their mouths hungering for cash. And Sunny had none to give. 

"Fucking stupid fucking what the fuck am I supposed to fucking do." Nineteen years old and she was already going through her midlife crisis. She had no clue on how to get the fucking George Washingstons. Business was slow like always and Sunny just couldn't bear to make the young kids pay for lessons. They needed to learn how to protect themselves in this kind of world. She wanted to be like the old man who had taught her a mix of martial arts and boxing. Without coming across him, Sunny would surely be a goner. 

One final kick and the rusted chain that held up the punching bag suddenly snapped. Sunny, on instinct, swiftly jumped back as she stared at the limp bag on the floor - as dead and lifeless as she was right now. 

Three loud claps resounded through the air. Sunny glanced over to the source of the sound and there stood a man who frequented her gym. 

"Aggressive as always Sunny-D?" He greeted, a huge smile on his face. She wanted to wipe that grin off his face. 

"Don't call me that," she hissed as she leaned over, picking up the bag. "Not a good time."

"Oh, not a good time eh? Well, I'm the man who's going to make your life better," the man said, as if he was advertising a magical product that was probably a sham. Sunny rolled her eyes and didn't answer him - he would leave soon enough anyways. "SunnyD, why don't you try out some," he paused, his arms spread out. "Underground boxing hmm?"

She had heard rumors about it. Sunny would love to try, actually, but two facts kept her from applying. One; she was a female. Two; she was weak because of that. There was absolutely no way around it. While Sunny was considerably strong and skilled, there was no way in hell she would be able to win. 

"Ah ah ah, I think I heard females were joining. You know, helps the business and all. SunnyD, I'm sure you can beat them up." 

"I'd imagine you'd be my sponsor?"

"Yup," he quickly answered, popping the 'p' sound.

"You'd better keep your word - Don't you fucking dare throw me into the pit with a guy. You won't get any money."

"Are you that doubtful of your skills?"

"Yup," she said, glaring at him as she popped the 'p'.

Fucking bastard didn't keep his word. Next thing she knew, Sunny's vision was blurring. Everything hurt. She was up against this 6'6'' bulked dude. "I'm going to kill him," she thought to herself. "Can't do that 'cause you're going to die here," a little voice whispered in the back of her mind. She grit her teeth, her body screaming to dodge that left hook - her opponent wasn't taking any chances with her. Sunny managed to evade that attack but was literally lifted from the floor from another punch,. She staggered back, sweat and blood running over her battered body. 

She could hear the bastard's voice from the crowd, calling out her nickname. "SunnyD! C'mon girl!" Fury clouded her thoughts and she lashed out, one of her hits connecting. The crowd roared again - apparently it was amazing to see a lithe woman getting beat up by this giant. Whatever. She would kill all of them next after she was done with this guy. 

Were they even underground? The light from the cheap bulbs hanging from the ceiling was dizzying. She closed her eyes for a brief moment again, her mind drifting. That unmistakable sound of thunder...It roared in her ears, sort of reminded her of that lion from Animal Planet. What the fuck. There was no thunder storm in today's weather forecast. This was not okay. Panic flooded her senses - she felt herself get punched again and - 

"Mum, I'm scared." 

Yeah, she remembered. Little Sunny was scared of thunder storms. 

"It'll be alright. Lightning won't hurt you, not when I'm around Sunny," came the soothing reply. "Just close your eyes and listen - the storm is just humming a lullaby for you..."

But the sound kept going up a notch and again and again; it was unbearable. Sunny closed her eyes and she desperately tried to listen for that song her mother had told her about. Suddenly, she felt strange. Tingly strange. Like the sensation when your legs and feet fall asleep and when you try to move them it feels ticklish but hurts at the same time. She threw a punch. The tingly sensation pierced through her body again. This felt right. She started humming along to the tune. She threw another and another until he was down, pathetically twitching for some odd reason. And damn. SunnyD was walking home, bloody and bruised, but with a couple of Benjie Franklins clutched in her fist.

Lebelont stands at 6'2''. He is muscled and there are a few mighty scars he bears on his body. His skin is lightly tanned from the many hours spent toiling under the sun. He has bright blond hair that sticks out everywhere (His bed-heads are incredibly hilarious) and fierce sky blue eyes that matches his spirit.

Personality:

Boisterous and aggressive, Lebelont will always be that guy who charges in head first. He is driven by the desire to achieve, so many of his decisions will be influence either on the opportunity to improve or to prove his existing skills. While he may come across as hot-headed and dim-witted, Lebelont's passion makes up for it. He has a very powerful presence and mind, something that will only translate into power as he continues to learn. Lebelont knows he has a long way to go before he becomes the best Craftknight. 

Bio:

Lebelont is the son of village head. He is the second oldest of his four siblings, not including Altea. If there was one thing that could describe Lebelont, it's 'Mama's boy'. Of course Altea came along and then momma was all doting on Altea and maybe Lebelont got a bit jealous. However, he knew Altea was a good person and pretty darn strong too. Lebelont has always seen Altea as his equal and has probably grown most attached to her compared to all of his other siblings. (Mostly because Altea shared the same dream as him.)

While Lebelont originally wanted to learn how to wield and create a long sword, his small stature at 14 would discourage him. It was then when his father jokingly told him to take up the spear instead. His head filled with cool spear technique names, Lebelont bothered the local blacksmith to teach him to make a spear. He was rejected many times before his persistence paid off. 

After that, he started to grow taller and taller. However, Lebelont is still sticking with his trusty spear.

Altea stands at 5'9''. She is also muscled but more of the 'lean' side. Her skin is lightly spotted with freckles and is slightly tan as well, if not a more darker color compared to Lebelonts'. Her body is a canvas of scars and burns that tells a story of hard work and dedication towards her craft. Altea keeps her chocolate brown hair in a messy bun and has cloudy gray eyes.

She shares a fiery passion with her brother to also become one of the best Craftknights. 

Bio:

Altea's real surname is Mereski. Her mother died when she was young, leaving young Altea to fend for herself. Her father was a Craftknight who was never home because he was out travelling to rural places where wild summon beasts ruined farms and killed people. Unfortunately, he vanished and was presumed dead. With no parents, the head of her village (Lebelont's father), took Altea in as it was his duty to take in young orphan children until they turned 18. However, Lebelont's mother, who never had any daughters took Altea as one of her own children. 

Thus began Altea's real childhood that was filled with love. She was given a place to call home -  a mother and a father who stayed home to raise his children the right way. 

Altea met Lebelont when she was 10 years old and Altea found herself slowly drawn to the tiny little boy. Lebelont, fondly called Lebie at the time, would always spout off some random nonsense about becoming the best Craftknight. His parents and other siblings would just scoff at him. Altea knew it was a far-fetched dream, nevertheless, she found her own heart wanting to become a Craftknight like her father. 

When Altea found Lebelont being beaten by some boys one day, she promptly kicked their butts and helped Lebelont stand up. Little Lebie thanked her and then challenged her to a duel right off the bat. 

"I'll beat you Altea!" Lebie would shriek in his unusual high voice. And she would beat up Lebie too. 

The following years, Altea and Lebelont would duel each other during their free time. At seventeen, their battle statistics amounted to this: 4023 clashes; 1540 wins to Altea, 1539 wins to Lebelont, and 944 draws. While their dueling matches could be seen as playful, their clashes eventually shaped how the two fought in the future. Plus, little Lebie was no longer little - much to Altea's disappointment. 

During those good years, Altea learned from a nearby village's blacksmith who specialized in glaives. Eventually, she would surpass her teacher so she left for Degar with Lebelont when he turned 18.

	Nellie is 5'9" with a slender but lean build. At first glance, she looks meek because of poor posture. She slouches when sitting and when walking, she resembles a bumbling fool. Nellie is unsure of her descent but she likes to imagine she is Korean like her mother. She has light-brown hair and blue gray eyes. Her skin complexion is smooth and pale, showing off her massive eye bags. She keeps her hair in a loose bun and has some really weird looking bangs that she cuts herself to keep her hair out of her eyes. Her daily outfit consists of plain t-shirts with the occasional turtle neck, cargo pants and boots.

Psychological Profile: 

	Despite her appearance, Nellie is an intelligent and cunning woman. She is driven by the desire to achieve so many of her decisions will be influenced either on the opportunity to improve or to prove her existing skills. Nellie can also be best described as adaptable. She is a keen observer and empathetic, acutely aware of her surroundings and of other people's emotions. When Nellie enters a combat zone, her mind is cleansed of all fears and worries. She is focused on only one thing - making the shot. She retreats into her bubble, her senses heightened as she calculates the situation such as wind speed/direction or exploiting the enemy's weaknesses. She is meticulous and thorough in her preparation; planning routes for both insertion and evasion. Sparing any feelings towards the enemy could potentially compromise the mission.  

	Nellie is also amiable and polite but is known to be brutally honest. She's compassionate, always eager to help out those in emotional distress by lending her ear. (She gives great bear hugs!) She is not easily perturbed and is open-minded and tolerant of others. However she does have limits. Once you cross her no-no line, she will promptly cut you out of her life. Despite her rough childhood, she tries to see the best in people because she believes that everyone has a little good in them.

	 Nellie can remain still for up to weeks to avoid detection and is able to do so with little to no sustenance. The environment she is in has virtually no effect on her focus. Whether it is freezing cold or boiling hot, she will not move from her position until her target is eliminated. After a mission, it is normal for Nellie to fall into a one to three day coma as her body recuperates. In addition, she has an uncanny ability to increase her eyesight at will. 

Personal History:

	Nellie Jung was found in an alleyway one cold wintry night by a passing university student. The kind Korean woman gathered the silent little bundle in her arms and immediately fell in love with the curly-haired, bright eyed baby. "You were such a strange baby," Nellie's mother would recall years later. "You would just stare at me. You didn't eat unless I begged you to and you slept a lot. I went to the doctor so many times but he would just tell me you were perfectly healthy...Aigo!"

	From an early age, it was clear that Nellie was something entirely different. She would stare at everything without saying a word and that scared other people. She was bullied because of her foreign features and strange actions but what hurt Nellie the most was that adults would whisper nasty remarks about her mother. Nellie was painfully aware that she was the root of her mother's problems so she tried her best to be perfect. That guilt festered and Nellie became even more withdrawn. 

	Eventually, Nellie and her mother were 'accepted' into society once they moved to a different town. Her mother found love and the family of two grew to five. With a little time, Nellie grew to love her stoic strong father and his two high school children. Her father taught shooting classes and was an avid hunter in his free time. In an attempt to bond with Nellie, he took her to a shooting range and taught her how to handle firearms. In a matter of months, Nellie was winning a multitude of shooting and hunting competitions. She had finally found something she was good at so Nellie spent her days practicing. It was only until a Cerberus recruiter told Nellie's parents that the Academy would love to train her as a sniper. Although her mother didn't want Nellie to go, Nellie joined the Academy after middle-school. 

	Out of all of the students in sniper school, Nellie showed the most potential. Although odd, her persistence and endurance showed just how well of a sniper she was. Her blood-line also gave her quite an advantage over the others. During this time, Nellie became more sociable and outgoing since she felt like she was among 'one of her kind'. When the Cerberus researchers grew more interested in her blood-line, they attempted to find Nellie's biological parents. The search was futile and Nellie has since accepted the fact that she will never know why she was abandoned.

Name: Chase Byrnes

Appearance: 
Chase stands at around 5'8''. He's got a sturdy build and regularly works out. He has light brown hair, dark blue eyes, and a rather charming, sorrowful smile. 

Ability: 
Chase has the ability to bring inanimate objects to life. The animated objects stay 'alive' as long until Chase wants it to. However, larger objects uses more mental strength, or will and don't usually last long while smaller objects do. The animated object's personality varies depending on Chase's wishes. If he longs for companionship while animating something, that something will do everything to comfort its maker. 

Biography:
Chase would wake up in the morning feeling rather mellow when he was younger. He would go to school and then come home only to curl up under his covers and sleep. He had loving parents, a good life, a good child-hood, good grades, good everything. Yet the world to him was a canvas of monochrome colors. Maybe those feelings occurred ever since Miranda Salders cheated on him with Richard Norton in eighth grade or maybe it was because he had no real friends since his parents moved every year due to their professions. He was aware that something was wrong with him, but at the same time, there wasn't anything wrong. It was as if everything was moving around him, but he was at a standstill.

What really drew him out of his shell was art. It started with a simple bird sketching in his history notebook...and then his obsession with art exploded. Chase would draw everything anywhere. He would even go as far as to graffiti over graffiti. He first came across his powers when he was sculpting a clay cat. The thoughts of; "Wow, I wished I had a cat like this" crossed his mind and viola, furry cat came to life. He was surprised at first, but curiosity got the best of him and soon enough, Chase was making a miniature army of animals in his closet. 

His talent for sculpting eventually caught the Northwood Academy's eye. Eager to expand his knowledge on the world and to run away from his lonely home, he accepted.  

Personality:
He's your typical quiet nice guy. Chase is calm and subdued in his interactions. He prefers to fade into the background and offers advice and counsel rather then taking charge directly. He is polite and restrained when interacting with people, often outwardly friendly when needed. He also doesn't know how to refuse someone even if the request makes him uncomfortable. He apologizes for everything he does, even if he didn't do anything wrong in the first place. He can be quite thick-headed at times when it comes down to personal relationships.

His long fingers dug into the clay, the cool moist feeling tickling him. Eyes fluttering closed, Chase Byrnes let himself sink in an ocean of tranquility. He was in the basement where he had set up several tables, pottery wheels, and a variety of other art tools a few months prior. He spent most of his days cooped in there, completely dedicated to each and every one of his creations. However, the summer days were slowly ticking away, and it would just be a few more days until he'd have to leave his haven. 

Banishing the thoughts of school for now, Chase broke off a lump of clay, taking the small portion in his hands before creating the general shape of a bird. With the bird safety on his left palm, he reached over to pluck a  carving tool from the table in front of him. 

Pretty little robin, with your delicate wings and beak... He deftly began to etch details onto the soft surface. In a few minutes, he set the tool back down, careful examining the half-finished product. Although it was clay, it held an aura of life as if it was begging to fly free. His lips pulled up into a rare smile, a facial expression reserved exclusively for his art. 

"You're sculptures are as lovely as always," a voice suddenly rang out. Chase looked up, the bright smile fast disappearing into a more held-back one. It was the house-keeper, Ms.Tiller. The elderly woman had been employed ever since Chase was a little child. She was like a mother to him. 

"Sorry, I just like art," he answered, setting down the bird onto the table. 

The woman smiled, the wrinkles around her eyes creasing. "You didn't need to apologize," she lightly scolded, taking a seat near Chase. 

"Sorr -"

"Hush, child."

He bit back his apology. Laughter escaped the woman's lips as she took Chase's clay muddied hands, patting them gently. "You don't ever have to apologize to me." Chase licked his lips, the word 'sorry' threatening to escape if he dared to open his mouth. Ms. Tiller continued to talk, her wise hazel eyes boring into dark blues. "...I should be the one to apologize to you. I tried to tell them...Your parents, they should be around more often for you but oh Chase, you know they're very busy people."

"I know," Chase said after a heavy second. "I know," he quickly murmured again, his eyes darting to the floor. Ms. Tiller sighed and the deafening silence stretched out its long limbs. 

"Chase, smile more," she finally said. "Your smile is beautiful and I don't mean the one you use in front of people like me. I'm talkin' about the one you have whenever you're arting."

He glanced back at her, a more tinier but genuine smile on his face now. "Okay."

He stepped out of the car, saying a mournful goodbye to his housekeeper before heading up the stairs where the Headmistress was. He respectfully greeted her before heading off to the gym where the welcoming ceremony would commence. It would be his last one, and Chase honestly didn't feel a tiny shred of sadness about the thought. There were a few more rules this year, possibly to prevent anymore...accidents. It definitely had to do with Coleman's death last year. 

Chase didn't mind the curfew that much. He would have liked to stay up a little later, maybe until 11 PM to stay cooped up inside the art room. He would just have to make do by hunkering down in the closet with a flashlight. Several of the upperclassmen voiced their disgruntled opinions before quieting down. After the announcements were over, Chase joined the crowd to receive their pack.

Double-checking his schedule one last time, he turned around and started to walk down the hallway to where his room was located.

There is only one thing in this world that will make my lazy butt move. Momma's blueberry pie. M-mm-mmm! Her pie will make you cry tears of joy. Other than that, I love running so I'm so gonna join track and field this year. I'm an outdoors kind of gal -  kayaking, hiking, gardening, you name it. Oh, I also love singing but I kind of suck at it...but who cares! I'll sing whenever I wanna and nuthing's gonna stop me. 

How would you describe your personality?
I think I'm friendly and outgoing but my momma tells me that I'm like a tornado. You know, the whirly thingies in the mid-west. Well, she says that I "talk and eat too darn much for a little kid." Okay. One; I'm not a little kid so if I hear anyone calling me a nublet or a freshmeat, I'll beat you up. Two; I've got mad skills. I'm also pretty enthusiastic, it doesn't take much to get me revved up. 

But even though momma says I'm a tornado, some-days I don't feel like being a whirling bundle of energy. I guess I get lonely. Sometimes. Nothing wrong with that! 

What has your life been like so far?
Life with momma is squeaky fine. Father is gone but I don't really care about him. I was actually born in Virginia, the northern part of it with all that good education and stuff. Well, long story short, I beat up some kids. Don't look at me like that! They started it first and I definitely showed them who was boss. Anyways, some more confidential stuff happened and then momma and Father said they were done. I guess I should have been a bit more nice. Anyways, we moved to Maine when I was 13. 

Maine is awesome. Have you seen the lakes? How about the mountains? Oh man. Okay, there's this really awesome spot in the forest near where I live and if you get there just before sunrise...Ahhh, It's amazing.. But I'm not taking anyone with me! Not even momma.

Personality: Eli is your typical staunch believer who wants to spread the word to everyone. He’s rather calm and subdued in his actions, preferring to fade in the background. While he may seem meek, do not cross over Eli’s no-no line. While it may seem like he’s patient and thick-headed, he really isn’t. In fact, he can be quite a stubborn bull when he truly believes in something. Other than that, he’s polite and always keeps his promises. He chooses to live with a smile on his face and without fear clouding his judgement.  

Skills/Talents: If there’s one thing special about Eli, it’s his way with words. He’s got a convincing voice and paired along with his passion, he can easily persuade a crowd. 

Dislikes: Eli can’t say that he dislikes anything. He’s pretty tolerant and straight as an arrow. However, he does have trouble dealing with sarcastic grumps. 

Ambitions: To help people accept Christ. Eli wishes to take the most run-down soul and teach him the word so that he or she can go to heaven. 

Philosophy of Life: Live life to the fullest. Though, you can say that Eli doesn't really follow his philosophy. The only thing he lives for is the Bible. 

Religions/Beliefs: God has always been a part of his life. After all, he was saved by a priest, who took him in and raised him to become a priest. He’s forever grateful to his adopted father and wishes to follow his footsteps. 

Children: Virgin. 

Sexuality and History: Virgin. He’s very thick-headed when it comes with relationships. You have to be super direct in order for Eli to even realize someone is interested in him. He’s easily embarrassed when someone talks to him about sexual matters and prefers not to involve himself in such…indecencies if you will. 

Addictions: It’s not really an addiction, but more of a bad-habit Eli can’t rid himself of. Whenever he gets stressed, he will kneel right there and then and just pray for hours. 

Family: Eli does not know his parents. He lived off the streets for a while until he turned five when he was adopted by a priest. Back then, Eli was feral. He would bite, scratch, and hiss at the priest; he couldn’t even speak English. His bad behavior would continue well into his adolescence until he came across an old-worn bible. Soon enough, the elderly priest was reading the tale of Jonah or Ruth to him at bed time. Little Eli longed to be able to read the Bible himself, so he dedicated all of his time to studying and praying. With patience and tender love, Eli grew up to become a respectable priest like his adopted father.  After being ordained to priesthood, the diocese relocated him to Kansas.

He is 'motherly' in a way that he constantly worries about other people and not himself. He'll always be willing to lend an ear or a hug to comfort someone. However, Connie can come off as stubborn and invasive at times. He sticks his nose into everything and doesn't know when to stop until someone tells him to. 

He's definitely a realist. He doesn't believe in things until he experiences it. Connie knows that there are no monsters lurking in the shadows, but who knows? He's rather curious about the whole supernatural so that's why he joined S.P.I.R.I.T. 

Backstory: 
Connie is an orphan. He was put up for adoption when he was born and since then has juggled around foster homes. He was a pretty quiet and sullen kid. After all, he thought no one loved him. Long story short, most of the households he lived in were abusive, both verbally and physically. He still bears many mental and physical scars from those horrendous memories but Connie doesn't let it get to him. (Well, he tries.)

When he turned 10, he landed in a kind elderly couples home. The old couple has lost their only child to a car accident a few years back who was, funnily enough, named Conner. While the couple were slowly growing senile, they still raised Connie (or in their minds, they were re-living their times with Conner again) with love and compassion. Connie was aware that he was being used as a substitute for their dead son. However, he dealt with it and chose to love them just as much. 

His adoptive parents died just a mere days before he turned sixteen. However, Connie had a stroke of luck and was immediately adopted by a single mother who had also lost her son from an accident. It's funny because those adults were supposed to care for Connie, but it ended up the other way around. 

Skills and Strengths: 
- Amazing at art, especially sculpting. 
- He's rather tolerant of...unsavory characters. Anyways, Connie is a good friend.
- Connie is a smarty-pants. He's got a high GPA and is always willing to help someone out. 
- Has a crazy high pain-tolerance.  
- He forgives people without holding any future grudges. 

Flaws and Weaknesses:  
- Can't tell a lie. He's also terrible at trying to make up excuses so he tends to awkwardly run away. 
- Doesn't know how to refuse someone. 
- Terrible at cooking. He will burn everything, even fried eggs. 
- He's so thick-headed at times that Chase can say some insensitive things to others. 
- Too focused on other people.

It was the norm for girls her age to marry but Aurélie didn't want to. She ran away from home and came across the Keeper. His offer was tempting and too good to be sure, but Aurélie accepted anyways.

Audition:  

"Mother told me that everyone is like a butterfly. They start out ugly and awkward and then morph into beautiful graceful butterflies that everyone loves. But I don't think I'm like that at all..."

The lights flickered on and the audience's eyes were drawn to the lone figure poised on a tight rope. The lithe acrobat's lips pulled up into a charming smile as she waved to the crowds. She then cartwheeled a few times on the line with ease, eliciting a round of applause. The acrobat continued to perform a variety of tricks on the line that seemed impossible. At one point, she was balancing with only one hand! She would tease the crowd, purposefully falling only to regain her balance and such. 

Of course, she wasn't the only one performing. There were other acrobats and assistants to help spice up the performance. An assistant threw up a blade, which Aurélie caught with ease. She skillfully swirled the weapon around, a skill she obtained when she first joined this circus. She threw it up in the air, twirling around before catching it again with her legs. The crowd's roars were deafening - some of the people had their eyes covered while others stared on in awe. 

The blood in her veins sang in joy. Aurélie lived for this - the cheers and the thrill. But the show would have to eventually end. She went limp and fell, this time for real. Before she hit the ground, a horde of colorful butterflies magically appeared out of thin air before fluttering away. The crowds eyes searched the ground for a mangled body, only to find none! One could only reason that it was the work of a magician.

A little girl in the crowd stood on her tippy-toes, tears welling up when she realized that the pretty acrobat had disappeared. A butterfly landed on the girl's shoulder, soon joined by the others, and Aurélie appeared. "Mon chérie, why do you cry?" She whispered, patting the girl's head. The girl gasped, turning around only to be greeted by another flurry of butterflies. She would forever remember the soft-spoken acrobat, as graceful and short-lived as a butterfly.

Human's Biography:

Iris Castus was born in South Bronx, New York. Her mother died from a drug overdose when she was eleven and her father was in jail. She was juggled around foster homes for a few years, with all of her short-spanned stays ending in silent tears and bitter scars. Luckily, a childhood friend of her mothers found out that her best friend's daughter needed a home. The child-care workers gladly handed Iris over to the tattoo artist without protest. They were understaffed and had a small budget - they couldn't afford to help every single orphan out there. 

Thus began Iris's humble but color-filled childhood at Long Island. It was almost like a fairy tale, so surreal and magical. With proper care and love, her past wounds soon faded into bad memories. Iris then discovered her passion for art, specifically tattoos. She spent most of her day assisting the woman who had saved her life and her nights doodling underneath the covers with a flashlight. Eventually, she had to go to school to receive an education. She didn't particularly enjoy school, but she went for the sake of her Mum. 

Nevertheless, school shaped Iris into who she is today. Although she wore her heart on her sleeve and had quite a vicious temper, people liked her. As Iris's mum would said, "Iris is like a pit bull. She looks scary and her bark might be loud, but she's all cuddly and gooey inside." She dyed her dark brown hair into a pink bubblegum color and got a tattoo done on her left arm. Life was good, and like how all fairy tales began, she would find her one true love, Rick Williams. 

At first, Iris and Rick did not get along well with each other. Rick was typically calm and in control while Iris displayed a variety emotions one after another. Eventually, the two grew to completely trust and care for each other. After high-school, Iris and Rick made plans to marry and move to Hawaii since Rick wanted to be a professional surfer. Iris didn't care for swimming (She can't swim!), but she agreed because she wanted to live with Rick until they were old and wrinkly. 

Then the world she had so carefully built and protecting came shattering down on her. Iris, Rick, and their families and friends went to a a beach. Iris, wanting to prove that she could in fact swim, waded into the ocean knee-deep. What she didn't know she had waded into a rip-tide. The current swept her away and she found herself swallowed up by the ocean. The last thing she saw was Rick diving in after her and the last thing she felt was a large familiar hand grabbing hers before slipping away. When she awoke, Rick was gone and she was being dragged towards the beach by Rick's brother. 

Rick's body was found two weeks later. Iris became withdrawn and depressed. 

Her fairy tale was too good to be true.

While lean and geared more towards deft, agile maneuvers, she isn't ridiculously scrawny but not desirably full-figured either. She stands at around 5'5''.

Animation:
Sunny has the ability to bring inanimate objects to life. The animated objects stay 'alive' as long as Sunny wants or until it is destroyed. However, larger objects uses more mental strength or will and don't usually last long while smaller objects do. The animated object's personality varies depending on Sunny's wishes. If she longs for companionship while animating something, that something will do anything to comfort its maker. 

Personality:
Warm-hearted and compassionate; Sunny enjoys helping others. She is persistent, always striving for the truth and leading a respectful, dignified life. She is an extremely loyal person and often finds herself to attached to things/people that catch her interest. Sunny is always willing to stretch out a hand to those in need, caring little about her own self. She's very sensitive but is quite thick-headed when it comes down to personal relationships. Sunny chooses to live with a smile on her face and without fear clouding her judgment.

History:
Sunny would wake up in the morning feeling rather mellow when she was younger. She would go to school and then come home only to curl up under her covers and sleep. She had good grades, a home, and all the things she could possibly ask for. Yet the world to her was a canvas of monochrome colors. Maybe those feelings occurred ever since Richard Norton cheated on her with Miranda Salders in seventh grade or maybe it was because she had no real friends since her parents were always absent and moved every so year due to their professions.

What really drew her out of her shell was art and Ms. Tiller, her care-taker (mom). It started with a simple sketch in her history notebook and a bit of encouragement from a kind old lady...and then her obsession with art exploded. Sunny would draw everything anywhere. She would even go as far as to graffiti over graffiti. After realizing that she had the ability to animate objects, she was never lonely again. She began conversing more often and started creating real relationships with people. Sunny is also trying to find the heart to forgive her forgetful parents. 

Of course, right when things were going right for her, her parents decided to dump Sunny at Pavar before catching the next flight to Los Angeles. 

Awakening:

The elderly woman had been employed ever since Sunny was a child. Ironically, Ms. Tiller was more of a mother to Sunny than her biological one.

"Thank you," she politely answered, setting the bird onto the table. The woman smiled, the wrinkles around her eyes creasing as she took a seat next to Sunny. She gasped though, standing right back up. Alas, Sunny had forgot that she had spilled some water on the seat. Ms. Tiller only laughed as she grabbed a towel. "I'm sorry," Sunny said, looking away. Soft laughter escaped the woman's lips again as she took Sunny's clay muddied hands, patting them gently. 

"You don't ever have to apologize to me." Sunny licked her lips, the word 'sorry' threatening to escape if she dared to open her mouth. Ms. Tiller continued to talk, her wise hazel eyes boring into dark browns. "...I should be the one to apologize to you. I tried to tell them. Your parents, they should be around more often for you but oh Sunny, you know they are very busy."

"I know," Sunny said after a heavy second. "I know," she quickly murmured again, her eyes darting to the floor. Ms. Tiller sighed and the deafening silence stretched out its long limbs. Ms. Tiller patted Sunny's hands again before leaving the girl alone, realizing that there was nothing to lift Sunny's bad mood. Sunny plucked the clay bird sculpture, continuing to add details. 

She was to turn fifteen in a few days. Her parents promised to be home on her special day. They promised but apparently France was a lot more important than their daughter. Bitter tears welled up and all of the sudden, the lonely and confused teenager couldn't breathe. God, how foolish she was to even imagine her parents magically appearing on her birthday. They hadn't come to the past seven birthdays so why would they bother to attend now? 

But oh, she dreadfully wanted to show her parents the many art awards she amassed over the months. She wanted to show them her sculptures, her drawings, her new friends. She wanted to tell them that she loved them no matter what. "D'you really think they love you? You're just an accessory to them, nothing more." "I don't wanna be alone anymore," she painfully whispered.

Chirp. 
Chirp.
Chirp. 

Chi - Sunny's eyes shot open as she stared at her hands that were supposed to be holding a clay bird. A clay bird. Inanimate. It wasn't supposed to be chirping and thrashing around in her hands. Except it was. Squeaking in surprise, she jumped off her seat, throwing the object (that wasn't supposed to be indignantly chirping) on the ground. Sunny expected to hear the wet squealch of clay hitting the ground - not a clay bird chirruping like a crazed animal in front of her face. 

"Oh my god."

Intuitive Aptitude
With this ability, Olive can determine stress points in solid material, objects, machines, and people based off of keen observation and/or intuition. With the lightest of hits, she could shatter a brick or even cause a person to lose feeling in an arm with a touch at the right nerve center. While destroying a mountain with a pluck of a finger isn't possible, it is conceivable that she can cause a building's collapse with an explosive planted at the proper spot. 

For her baby stages, she has a general feeling for finding a weak spot but she won't be entirely accurate. Focusing on this ability could be intentional or instinctive, but either way the result is the same. Once she becomes more skilled, she'll come to know where to strike to cause the maximum damage with the least effort. 

Personality:
Olive is stoic, brutally honest and ever-enduring. She does not complain, or whine, or wish for a better life. She's cool and collected, though she is known to be very outgoing once she knows you. Olive is the type of person who will do what she believes absolutely needs to be done. She also studies fighting tactics quite a bit, leading to an iron-clad confident side of her that has yet to manifest. Inside, Olive has always longed for freedom from regulations and to travel the world. In that, she also has romantic ideals of heroism and adventure as well as a strong moral code which she cannot help but hold others to. She is extremely protective of the weak and innocent.

Transformation: Jin disappears in a puff of smoke, only to reappear as a pipe fox. In this form, he is swift and small, perfect for reconnaissance. Don't be fooled by his cute appearance, he won't hesitate to bite and scratch. In this from, he is still able to use his magic. 

Detection: Jin is able to sense various types of energy as well as other spirits and creatures. 

Wind Magic: Jin has the ability to manipulate wind. He is able to float in the air (or float other people), throw out high speed wind slices to cut up enemies, or create condensed spheres of wind that can cause major knock back damage, or function like shrapnel grenades with the wind slices when activated. He will also learn how to heal with wind magic later in the future. 

Strengths:  Kuda-gitsune are able to directly link their magical power with their chosen master. With this, their powers are augmented depending on how strong their personal bond is. 

Weaknesses:  As much as he hates to admit it, Jin is quite weak. He's incredibly dependent of his master's power, since he is still a young Kuda-gistune with only one tail. Jin also refuses to fight an opponent who is significantly stronger than him.

Warm-hearted and compassionate; Jin enjoys helping others. He is persistent, always striving for the truth and leading a respectful, dignified life. He is an extremely loyal person and often finds himself to attached to things that somehow manage to catch his interest. 

Backstory: 
Jin has spent most of his life in a hidden forest located in Japan. It's a haven for fox spirits, and many spend the rest of their lives there. Untouched by humans, Jin was a rather naive and pure spirit. Although he had heard many stories of pipe-foxes like him being kept shut in bamboo pipes and the like, he was always curious of the outside world.

His curiosity drove her to leave home but he never gathered up the courage to directly interact with a human. Instead, he stayed hidden in the mountains and played pranks on travelers. During this time, he met many creatures and developed a keen sense of detecting energy. Unfortunately, his little vacation was cut short when he found herself caged, just like the stories she was told in her child-hood. 

Luckily, he managed to free himself with a bit of dumb-luck and set out to head back home. Humans were dangerous things and Jin preferred to live without fear. However, a strange human approached him offering admission to an academy that was safe and provided an education. Eager for an adventure and tempted to find a suitable master, he accepted the invitation from Montagne Academy.
