The lore: (So far)
Giovani is an NPC, who is the best (male) friend of Stevie, (The Human) in the year 8593 AD. This is the era where the story is focused on the DemonxHuman aspect of the pairings, as Stevie is a reincarnated version of (The Angel) Emiko, and because (The Demon) Priturus has been waiting for thousands of years to find his love Emiko again, and to help her reincarnated self choose the path she would have wanted.
The world as we know it, has a LOT of problems, most of them caused by unruly Demons. However, where there is evil, good shall rise up against it. The good we speak of is of the highest order; Angels. These protectors go through their entire lives just hoping to help us on our way to paradise. These pure beings belong to the realm of said paradise, and although all humans are born with the knowledge of them, (Along with their own Demon and Angel) we forget that they play such a major role in our daily lives.
I am one of the few humans who can see/recognize these beings for what they really are, and I can tell that they also know who we are. They know that we recognize them, and sometimes they welcome us like an old friend. Others, it doesn't always turn out so well. The most common reaction, from an Angel or a Demon, is simply silence. It seems that unless they 'knew' you in the past, they won't speak to you.
Which begs the question, How could we have known an Angel or Demon before we're even born?
It seems that the only way to explain this would be to reintroduce a topic that society disproved thousands of years ago, during the last great era of ignorance (Circa. 2030), Reincarnation. Yes, we all know (Thanks to the hard work of Alvy Corp.) that Humankind does not become something else after death, such as a slug if you lived a 'bad' life, or a powerful/happy/lucky/high class human if you lived a 'good' life; but who ever said that it had to be humanity that was reborn?
We all know that one friend, they're a do-good-er, happy-go-lucky kind of person, right? Otherwise it's that one 'friend' or acquaintance who's always up to something they shouldn't be. Angels and Demons, when they die, are offered the same choice as we are as humans. Good or Evil, Paradise or the Pit. They are first a guardian or tormentor, and then they are the guarded and tormented. A short detour or vacation before they too are judged, they are reincarnated as a human and left with little to no memory of who or what they were before, as any memories of the type would be too complex for the waking mind to comprehend, seeing only glimpses of their past self through their dreams.
So, in conclusion the introduction page to my (Required to Graduate) 100 page essay on either Proving/Disproving the Dichotomy of Good vs. Evil or on The Necessary Evils of our Current Society (Year 8374-Present), I leave you this thought/question: What about the Demons and Angels who fell in love?

Proof of or Disproof of the Dichotomy of Good vs. Evil
