Setting: Late at night. Alicia has been traveling for nearly half a year, from (whichever kingdom she's from) to Mendolin, almost on the other side of the world. She's finally found the sorcerer's home, nestled in a valley about ten miles from the nearest village. There's a vicious thunderstorm happening and she's exhausted, ready for her journey to end.
