Rey is a slender girl with long blonde hair, lighter in some strands then others, with gleaming blue eyes reflecting the deep green pools of the Cyqat’s own water. She has her father’s stubborn chin and her mother’s smile, though she shares neither of their sun bleached skin, hers a darker shade of tan like the sandy shores of the lake. She wears no physical blemishes and is all around an attractive young woman though she doesn’t see it as so herself. Living on the water gives the girl ample opportunity to bathe and wash, more so when the caravan’s come.

-- Demeanor:
Rey has a very happy demeanor, almost like that of a small child, she's an easy read and is horrible at keeping a poker face. She says what she thinks and is very outspoken when she doesn't agree with something but she's try to stay on everyone's good side and not tarnish the name she was given by her parents. Her views on death mimic those of her clan, when people die their souls go back to the rivers and lakes until a worthy parent drinks of it and they are taken into that family.






Ever since she was young Rey has riled under the traditions of her clan, she's always had a desire to explore and see what the world outside the water's reach is truly like. Whenever the traders would come to visit and sell their wares, she was right there at their heels begging for stories and tales of the lands they traveled from, why they smelled like spices and wine, what it was like to ride a horse instead of a boat. The only thing that saved the small energetic girl from going to explore the land herself was the water. It called to her. She knew the stories of the clan leaders and shamans having the ability to hear and decipher what the water wanted, but she was to be wed off away from the water to a pompous fool she had only meet once but the taste of dislike for him still tainted her mouth. She would often sneak out with the hunting party and beg them to teach her how to hunt, how to be of use to the clan. During the times she was turned away she would turn to the scouting clans, or her mother’s apprentice who was often set out to gather herbs and poisons. Rey doesn't hate her home, she loves the expanse but she fears that if the clan does not change and adapt to the times that it too will be left behind in history's wake.



Erith Kristansa: Mother. Alive. Her mother is the current healer and shaman of their small clan, she also serves as an advisor and teacher to the smaller children of the Belisama.

Waylith Kristansa: Farther. Alive. Chieftain of the clan, he rules his family and people with an iron will and a tender guidance. Rey is his favorite of the two children, and thinks marrying off a Dragon Rider would bring great honor to their clan.

Rayath Kristansa: Brother. Alive. The future ruler of the Belisama. He’s as cocky and arrogant as older brothers go, but is a quick study and can easily best some of the older clan members at foot racing and river running.

Q’arith Ly’re: The Caravan Leader. Alive. Q’arith is around the same age as Rey’s father, and has treated her like daughter ever since she was born, a gentle man with a kind smile he often tells her stories and brings her trinkets of the world outside her forest.

Ranoldo Meritan:Betrothed. Unfortunately Alive. The heir to a small township and landholder, he is an older man full of pomus and arrogance setting his greedy eyes on learning the secrets of the Belisama’s trade. He’s rather full of himself and Rey despises him greatly but will not willingly go against her father’s wishes.



Rey is used to hunting so knows little of proper combat or how to maneuver gracefully on the fields of war, so she keeps towards the outskirts away from the main frays. She’s adapted towards Hit-and-Runmstyle that allows her free movement and keeps her from easily becoming targeted herself.

-- Weapon of Choice:
Siren’s Cry

A bow gifted to her from her mother on her 15th birthday, passed down through the generations.



-- Head: A intricate headdress made from steel and gold adorned with a large green gem, she had fished from the bottom of the Expanse. It does little for armor or protection.

-- Torso: She's clothed with a seemingly simple white clothed dressed forged using the delicate art of blending silk and steel giving it a strength just as hard and durable as any standard armor.

---- Underclothes: Having not developed enough to truly need a holster for her chest, she settles on binding with basic leather wraps that slightly deter her breathing but ultimately give her a flatter chest making her aiming abilities a lot straighter.

-- Legs: She wears simply leg warmers, not being used to colder climates they're more suited to dismiss bugs and loose briers than protect against the wind or other stronger forces.

---- Underclothes: Rey's lower parts are adorned with the basic loincloth that is customary with her clan. It does little but protect her nether regions from the elements.

-- Right Arm: Nothing adorns her right arm but a simple archers bracing on her wrist allowing her better movement and control of the bow.

-- Left Arm: On her left arm rest a silver band that winds it's way up the entirety of her arm. It's durable enough to not falter or break under a direct assault but it's mostly for decoration and adornment.

-- Primary Weapon: A recurve bow, hardened oak wood mixed and inlaid with steel and silver. It's a sturdy weapon that seen much uses and offers little resistance on the draw back, along with a simple leather quiver that holds arrows fletched with hawk feathers and tipped with steel arrow heads broken into three small spikes at the tip.

-- Secondary Weapon: A small pouch rest on her hip holding flat stones found in the lake, tied around the outside is a small leather throng. A simple child's sling, plain but effective in the right circumstances.

-- Primary Support Item: Another small pouch filled with mixture of ground up plants when thrown causes momentary blindness and irritation to the eyes and face.


Trained by the hunters of her clan, Rey has a good sense for tracking people or animals, she also been taught how to determine if a plant is poisonous or edible and if it can be made into crude medicine and poultices.


Mischievous: Rey against all upbringing and the lessons pounded into her is always looking for new ways to get out of doing her chores and menial tasks. She would much rather slip away and explore or attempt to pull tricks on someone then be forced to live up to her status.

Short-Tempered: She tends to get frustrated easily when things don’t always work out her ways; she has been known to argue with a tree for not giving her the fruit instead of her having to climb up there and get its herself.


Dragon Rider: All Riders share an intimate link with their dragon which allows telepathic communication. They also possess the listed effects and abilities.

>> Ageless: Nlonger physically ages, unless they chooses to.
>> Magic: All Riders are capable of utilizing ‘The Song’, but because of this link to their dragons Riders can tap upon their dragons well of magic, allowing them to access spells that are impossible for non-Riders.
>> Increased Attributes: As Riders and Dragon mature and their link grows stronger the Rider takes on aspects of not only of the dragons personality, but physically as well such as tough skin, cat eyes, etc. As a rider progresses in age their body also adapts to The Song, this manifests as strange colored markings on the face and hands that glow when The Song is embraced, this glow is the same color as the Riders Dragon.
