The keys jingled in her hand as she made her way from the house. It's old paint chipping and the flowers in the flower bed withering. She slammed the door of the Chevy, rust showered the ground. The blazer wasn't always the most reliable source of transportation, but it did for now. she felt that damn phone go off, the picture of her boyfriend popping up, his goofy smile flashing on and off in the rhythm of the ringtone. She slided the red button to the message option and texted him.

Hey what’s up?

I wanted to know if you were going to come over my house tonight.
Sorry babe, I’ve got to study for my exam.

She tossed the phone on the seat again, it hit the leather with a soft thud. She pulled out of the drive way and made it down the road, a small trail of brake fluid following her. As she slowed down for a red light, her foot pressed against the brake, a puddle began to form under her parked car. Her phone started to buzz again, but it started vibrating in a different tone. The tune was different as well and she picked it up, a different face smiled at her. She swiped green and said in the most cheerful voice she had.

“Hey sexy.” She leaned forward and watched the light, still red.
“Not as sexy as you. You heading to my place?” The husky voice asked her, she smiled at the thought of him talking to her on the phone laying in bed, waiting for her…
“You know it babe. We are going to have a wonderful time.” She smiled dreamily, little did she know the brake fluid had stopped leaking, and the blazer had began to slowly inch forward. The light turned green and she hit the gas, heading around the road, still on the phone with her affair. She pumped the brake as the corner down the hill got closer, but it didn’t slow down. Because of the hill, the blazer gained speed. The corner was coming closer, she paused her conversation about what underwear she has on right now and hit the brake harder.
“Hello? Hello?” The phone echoed as she dropped it to the floor of the blazer. She couldn’t stop, a truck comes around the sharp curve, she screamed, the truck engine roared trying to make the hill, and the blazer kissed the Mac’s grill.

The static starts up, blaring louder and louder the more Jane awakes. Something is nearing her, a ghastly figure seemingly trapped in a flesh like straight jacket. Though harmless as it spits and snarls, smashing into the car door window trying to attack her will seem threatening and scarring to any who awake in such a position. The first of many monsters to attack her, though they won't be as harmless, definitely more intimidating. Ash cakes the windows, the fog blocking out the light and surrounding her and the beast. Her car hit a welcome to silent hill sign and the corner of it is pressed against her windshield. Lets see if this sinner can accomplish her first task and make her way to town.

The blaring of the static pierced her ears, causing her to shiver. She raises her head slowly from the steering wheel, she gasps as the...the...thing…lunged at her. Her scream pierced over the static and she pressed herself up against the door of the other side. She pants and her heartbeats felt like it was going to explode out of her chest.
“Help! Somebody help me!” She screams at the top of her lungs, the thing kept moving, trying to get closer. She screamed louder and the emergency parking brake presses into her leg. She reaches down and pulls the pin from be bottom of it. She thrusted it forward and it lunged itself into the thing’s skull, the handle sticked out of its eye. It pulled back, it swung its head rapidly and smashing the glass of the windows. Shards flew everywhere, she covered her face with her arms, shielding herself in the corner of the glove compartment and door. It fell backwards and twisted, no arms to catch itself. It pushed the stick deeper inside its skull, the thing stopped moving. Jane shuddered and looked over the shattered shards of glass that were wedged in the rubber of her window.
Was it dead? Is it over? Where am I? What is that...?
She looked around herself, there was nothing but gray fog, it was...to say the least... cold and unpredictable.

The Straight Jacket beast now slain causes the blaring static to die down and create pure silence, only broken by the occasional creaking of the car's metal. Jane has no choice but to make her way to the nearest town. The sign she crashed into letting her know where she is seems harder to read with each glance as the lights flicker and dim. Silent Hill. The next town over that you can never find willingly. The town filled with your biggest fears. The town with few friends and even fewer that are sane. The town with endless descriptions, few positive. Silent Hill is the one town you don't want to be in. Welcome.

She looks up from the foggy ground, trying to make sense of the foggy thoughts in her head. What was that thing? Something glows in the hazy air, was she actually seeing light? She clenches the handle in her hands, making the skin over her knuckles white. The light flickers on and off, but it was a first sign for her endless walk. She squints, trying to read it.
Welcome to Silent Hill
Finally! Someone would help her!
She rushes through the fog, the brake handle in hand, she began to be giddy. Soon she would be at that wretched house that actually felt safe now after tonight. She would see her wonderful boyfriend and be with him during school. How would she explain to her affair about standing him up? She would have to be oh so good to him to make it up to him. Mmmm.

As Jane walks cloer and closer to Silent Hill buildings start to appear. On an alley wall drawn in bloood are the numbers 204863. The sounds of quick footsteps and quickly shut doors and windows happens suddenly. A bus station is near her and the map of Silent Hill is there waiting to be taken. Various red scribbles and circles are all over the map, perhaps hints of where she should go.

She walks through, it's like a... ghost town. Hugging herself, she wanders through. It couldn't have been that late at night. But there seems absolutely no one is here.
What the bloody hell?
The only thing she found that suggests life exists here, is a marked up paper on the bus stop bench.
Why would this be here? I wonder who left it.
She bites her lip looking around and looks down, seeing the scribbles over the page.
What's letter wrench?
She just starts heading through the side of the street, all the buildings seemed warn down and just empty. Lonely.

As she walks through the town she can't help but feel like someone or something is watching her. Up on the roof are stone gargoyles, they looked more deformed than regular gargoyles which is saying something. Everyonce in a while pots or pans would hit the floor inside the buildings. People talking in hushed tones barely even recognizable as human, constantly saying The siren is coming. Lord Save us.

Every little sound, she jumps, every small sign of life didn't sound like life at all. She kept hearing the word "Siren".
What siren? What is a siren?
She goes to the door of one of the buildings and knocks on it.
"Hello? Can any one help me? Hello?" She tries the door handle and it won't open. She goes to the window, knocking on it. "I can hear you, please, can any one tell me how I can head home? Please even a phone would help."

The window slides open quickly and a man in an oxygen mask grabs her arm and carries her to his bedroom. The siren starts peircing the air now, the walls, ceiling, and start shedding. They appear flesh like and all lights begin to dim. She gasps her ribs knocking on the window pane, she looks up at her rescuer and she feels the shift in the room. She tries to pull away but his grip was stronger. She panics, his voice muffled and he threw her roughly to the ground, something cold wrapped around her wrist. She yanks it, fear filler her.
"What the hell! Hey! Hey!" He started walking away, she pulls it harder. Fuck.

The rusty chain of the cuffs starts to snap and creak as he finishes and walks back, loading and cocking back his pistol. In the closet constant shuffling and screaming can be heard. This man may have seemed like a savior, put Jane just went out of the frying pan and into the fire.

She gave one last jerk of the cuffs, scrambling out of his way and down the hall. She flies over the stairs and she pulls shelves down as she runs to the door.

The closet door bangs open and a mannequin monster hits the masked man right in his face then crawls on all fours chasing after Jane, crawling on the ceiling and walls as she nears an open window to the alleyway.

Jane screams and runs faster. She bursts through the door of the kitchen. She franticly looks through the cabinets and finds a grill lighter. She hears the thing of plastic and meatal clanging down the hall way. She looks under the sink cupboard and then above the stove, finding the no stick cooking spray. She shakes it, her fingers slipping off the top. She drops it, the metal clanging to the tile floor. She scrambles on her knees to get it as it rolls away. Her thumb clicks over the lighter, flicking but not catching. The plastic feet getting closer, she raises both above in front of her, scorching the plastic demon.

It writhes and shakes on the floor as it burns then gives one last kick and crumbles to complete ash, the can now empty. The masked man starts charging at Jane and shoots at her, hitting the cupboard above her head twice. He's a bad shot with that restrictive oxygen mask blocking his vision. He shoots a third time and hits the knife rack, making it bounce off of the wall and down in front of Jane.

She yips and runs like hell to the windows, pulling and pushing. Their locked. She takes a broom and charges the man ducking low and swings the broom over his head, smacking his temple. He drops the gun and she scrambles to get it, she points it at him.
"Now listen here. I'm not going to have any of this bullshit any more." She jerks the gun up and her hands shake. "What the bloody fuck is going on here?"

He looks up at her with his arms up trying to speak, but due to his mask he only makes muffling noises.

Her hands shake and she nods taking deep breaths. She moves to the side and opens drawers and rummages though the drawers. J thows a pen and a napkin at him and jerks the gun.
"Start writing then."

She takes deep breathes as she waits for the masked man to finish writing, the alarm starting to die out as she stood there shaking in the silence.
