Hello there, I am Treckler and I am quite new to this site. I am used to roleplaying at gaiaonline but it seems that it lacks the genres I'm currently craving for at this moment. Which would be crime and mystery.
I have a plot in mind that involves a guy that has a case of short term memory loss due to drug abuse. This character had killed a few amount of people that are "connected" to his brother's death. Within this story a young detective will help him solve the impossible case of finding his brother's murderer. The settings will be based on a fictional village called Pine Crest. A small community in the middle of nowhere.
A brief idea of how the town would be is like living in a modern city that is surrounded within the forest. It would be a great challenge to for the victims to escape and ask for help; since the closes civilized town/village would be a thousand miles from Pine Crest.
Important Roles:
Detective
A young detective (your choice of age) was given this murder case as his/her very first case on the job as being a detective. He/She has a family that are currently staying at their hometown which would be in the main city, far away from Pine Crest. (We'll be expecting a few calls from time to time. Hopefully, though it still depends on the liking of the writer.) The personality of this young detective will also depend on the writer's call to this matter.
The Detective's Partner: (Assistant Investigator)
This character would be slightly older than the head investigator/detective. For that this character would hopefully show superiority from time to time. I would like to keep this background short since I do not have any plans for this character; I would like to depend on how the writers/writer would want this character to be. The description written above is just my suggestion for giving you an idea on what I want for this role. Like I've said, it would still depend on how you would want it to be.
Guy
I would want to play this role since I had already planned and written a lot about him.
Brief story. This character had lost his brother that was involve in an underground business, meaning to say his brother was actually drug dealer. Who got caught up between money loss and debts, his killer was caught by his brother (guy) during the act. Every since this Guy's brother died he had a lot of problems on his hands. Unfortunately his brother's killer had the best of himself and was killed by a car. Though the Guy was still looking for some sort of vengeance. He killed the driver behind the wheels and hid the body after the tremendous event, he reported to the police that his brother's killer was still on the run.
Questions I had in mind while writing this:
So isn't easy to crack the case by checking the surveillance camera?
Unlike any other town, this town was still in development and cctv cameras for traffic aren't installed yet.
Like I've said the town was a thousand miles away from civilization and travel time is a huge pain for them. Meaning to say we can just all agree to the fact that the development is quite slow due to the travel time/distance of resources.
This would be a casual roleplay and a slice-of-life kind of this cause I don't want any supernatural stuff happening.
