Dipping my toes back into the forum rp game, I'm a semi to high advanced writer looking for one or two games, though this check will likely continue to grow regardless.
A few notes:
I am over 18 and would expect my partners to be as well.
Unless otherwise noted, all ideas are mature and will include dark themes, blood, swearing, etc.
I am able to post once per week at minimum, though my actual rate works out to every other day or so, and there are days that my muse is in overdrive and can post multiple times per day.
I prefer to rp exclusively over PMs as they are easier to keep track of.
Magic and the Mass Effect
Set some 10-20 years after the end of the Reaper War, the galaxy has finally begun to settle down and rebuild in the aftermath of the war. Shepard is dead and his friends and companions are left to guide the survivors into the uncertain future of reconstruction and beyond. But the galaxy is no friendlier a place with the Reapers no longer a threat. No longer overshadowed by the technological might of the mass effect, chaos and magic have begun to reemerge. Enter one of the few remaining vampires on Earth who went to ground before and during the conflict and his attempts to reconnect with a changed world. Looking for someone to play a human or asari against the vampire in this attempt to turn one of my favorite sci-fi stories into a science fantasy. Canon or OC characters.
Dark Creatures
Set after Deathly Hallows, the British Ministry is still trying to clean up the mess of the second war and Voldemort's nearly complete takeover of the wizarding world. To that end they've begun a program of hunting down every dark creature they can find and executing them with no quarter given, even when some of those creatures want nothing more than to simply keep to their own little corners of the world. Caught off guard in Muggle London, a vampire and a veela are forced to go on the run together in order to survive, which is difficult enough when they don't push each other's buttons constantly. Looking to focus on the interpersonal conflict between two strangers who don't like each other but have no choice but to coexist for a while, though the plot itself could go in a variety of ways. Looking for someone to play the veela and to help brainstorm further with the plot.
TAKEN Hunter and Hunted
Could be set in modern nights or medieval. The best hunter of her order comes into contact with an ancient vampire who is able to easily and repeatedly thwart her attempts to kill him. Her continued failures cause her order to view her with some suspicion, leading to her being kicked out of her order and named a target, both for her knowledge and her supposed vampire sympathy. And the only person who can help her now is that vampire elder. Could go in a variety of ways, with a focus on the power struggle and personal conflict between the two enemies who are forced to stick together. Looking for someone to play the hunter. Specifics are always up for discussion.
I'd also love to do something Tokusatsu related: Power Rangers, Super Sentai, GARO, the whole nine yards.
