The small, well lit town by the sea, seems to never loose it's vibrant atmosphere even from miles away one could hear the echoes of it's upbeat theme, and make out it's frisky neon lights illuminating the night. To the residents, the town has this sense of melancholic satisfaction. San Junipero has that effect on people, just ask any permanent resident here. To them it's a personal heaven, which they can freely relive the happy days, or make one if they hadn't, contented to stay in the eternity of mortal retirement.

By the seaside is where the younger spirits would regularly come. The large bonfire in the center brightened the dawn, whilst Bowie serenades Modern Love through the giant stereo speakers behind somebody's pick up truck. People would come with their cars or jeeps in groups or in pairs, letting themselves move to the music or grabbing a beer or two at the nifty tiki bar in the other corner. The shore swarmed with people, Club kids, Grunge kids, Zippies, and the like, freely going about their own interests. It was another great night to get lost in, for the visitors it's only a matter of time, hours it seems, til the clock strikes 12 and until the next dawn they can return again.

At the edge of the merrymaking, a slender figure stepped off the wooden boardwalk and into the cool sand, slowly making her way toward the group around the bonfire. She moved carefully, eyes wide as she took everything in - the music, the people dancing, the distant breaking waves on the beach...

"It's so real", Jillian thought to herself, stopping to gaze in awe at everything, as if in a dream. The sand felt cool and wonderful on her bare feet. How long had it been since she’d gone to the beach? Certainly not since she’d been diagnosed. But all of that felt incredibly far away at the moment. She felt healthily and alive for the first time in years.

Just then, a couple dashed by her, laughing and teasing each other. One them turned and smiled at her, then jerked his head toward the bonfire as if to say, "come and join us." With a half smile, Jillian followed them into the group of people talking and drinking by the fire. Someone offered her a beer, but she shook her head and smiled. “I still want to take everything in,” she explained, leaning close to so her voice would carry over Bowie’s. “It’s my first night here.” After a while, she wove through the throng of people dancing, letting her own movements get carried away with the music. One song ended, and then another, and pretty soon she had left the dancers and began wondering closer to the water until she stood with her feet in the cool surf. Even here the sea looked endless.

There is man intently scoping the whole scene from the bar under his sunglasses. His leather jacket, torn skinny jeans and messy hair made him look like a Sid Vicious knock off. Within the buoyant crowd his head paused, slightly tipping his sunglasses to take a closer look at the woman. He definitely see something he likes.

Grabbing two bottles of beer, one for himself and the other to the pretty lady, who to him stood out and seemed out of place in the crowd by the bonfire.

"Hey sugar." he said cooly. The awkward smirk on his lips, his overall stance and get up showed wholly his mediocre charm. "So, you come here often?" he offer her a bottle but she declined. Telling him it was her first night, caused him to raise his eyebrows. "First night eh? Havn't met any first timers in San Junipero in a while." he gave her a wink. He let the woman go after their little chat, his eyes followed her as she went over to the crowd of people dancing.

Back then Violet was never the type to get into crowds like this. Not in the most of her waking life that is until her own issues caught up to her, pulling her down with the dregs of society where she later on came to appreciate the exuberance of such lifestyle. The crowd, the music, the booze and the numbness it brought, was a blissful salvation to her otherwise troubled life, albeit temporarily. And now spending her eternity, those times are the only things she wanted to relive. Just don't make her dance.

Vee was with a crowd, just by the corner of the dance floor, though she frequents places like this she was never really the dancing type. She watched the crowd of lively people, then glanced on shore as the sun completely surrendered to the vast horizon, when her eyes caught an unfamiliar patron. Not on the party scene but on the shore, alone. Residing in San Junipero for quite a while now Vee can easily tell the regulars from the visitors and this particular person, a woman, she had never seen before.

Finishing up her glass of whiskey, the well rounded woman moved through the crowd until she exited on the quiet end of the scene and to lonesome figure. Vee had her arms crossed over her chest as she stood just a few steps behind her. "Hope you're not planning on taking a swim." Vee teased the woman. " But if you do, I suggest you go to that spot over there. The rocks in these parts are somewhat, prickly."

“Hope you’re not planning on taking a swim.”

The sound of the other woman’s teasing voice caught Jillian off guard and she turned her head, surprised. With the bonfire further up the beach behind them, the other woman’s figure was silhouetted against the warm glow.

"But if you do, I suggest you go to that spot over there. The rocks in these parts are somewhat, prickly.”

Jillian gazed back at the stranger with a playful look in her eye, her eyebrows raised slightly. “Is that so? Well, I appreciate the tip.” She studied her for a moment, thoughtful, and then she cocked her head toward the area the other woman had mentioned. “You want to show me this spot of yours?” she asked. “I could use the company. I haven’t really met anyone here yet.”

She began to shrug off the jean jacket she was wearing, when a thought occurred to her. She imagined herself in the bikini she’d worn on her 21st birthday pool party, and in that instant she was suddenly wearing it again. Jillian glanced down to see the familiar blue and white striped swim suit from her younger days. It was a marvel to see herself in it, to see her body young and fit again, muscles lean, skin smooth and sun kissed. When she looked up again, her expression was incredulous.

“I’m still getting used to this,” she explained, blinking her eyes in half disbelief. “This place is incredible. I wasn’t even sure I wanted to try it but now…” Jillian glanced at the water, then gave a cheeky grin. “Come on, I’ll race you!"

"Don't mention it." plump matted lips confidently curved into a smile. There was a slight pause between them as Vee caught the opportunity to analyze the woman before her, and by the way she looked back at Vee reckoned she was doing the same. It was merely a habit that she often reads people this way, and it has been a while since she met somebody new to the eyes.

Vee was being partly sarcastic with the whole swimming thing, and wasnt really expecting her to take her word for it. Not that she was lying in the first place, or the other woman suggesting was bad thing really. She remotely stated that she was in fact new to the place, quite impossible to never really know anyone here unless you're a newcomer. "I've figured. Haven't seen you around here before. And I know almost everyone." Her arms still crossed to her chest, bright hazel eyes curiously analyzing the woman shrugging off her jacket.

She mustve been deep in her current musing because the next thing Vee was seeing is her companion wearing a rather interesting outfit. It's something that happens in San Junipero, the program must've mistaken her thoughts for wanting a change of clothing, or currently she discreetly was and had no idea the system can actually processes it. Either the case, Vee found herself smiling at her puzzled companion, unconsciously lingering probably a little too long. She retracted her gaze for a moment, and this time she was looking her in the eyes.

"Yeah, that happens." she said tucking her bottom lip " It does need some getting used to."

Vee raised a brow at the other woman's invitation , "You're serious?" they're not really gonna go for a swim are they? She thought for a second about it, first of all she wasnt much of a swimmer. And second, the water looks freezing cold at this time of the day. "I dont know..." her companion seemed enthusiastic about it, which she found herself quite charmed by it. It must've something to do with her current situation which, she ain't gonna lie how great she looks in that bikini. Vee shook off her thoughts.

She eyed her skeptically for a moment until finally, she gave in to her. "What the hell. We're here anyway so might as well." Walking over to the corner she pointed earlier just a little further from the party zone and with a snap of her fingers, her leather jacket, cropped top, and body fit, high waisted pants instantly changed into a quaintly elegant strapless one piece swimwear, topped of with a pair of round sunglasses.

Vee has an exquisitely womanly body, long dark wavy hair resting on her olive skin, a couple of moles sprinkled over her shoulders, ample chest and rather thick pair of thighs, giving her an almost perfect hourglass figure. In that one piece bikini she looked like a living pin up girl. Yet despite all these enviable qualities, Vee still insecurely shifted a little in front of her companion, if not only a bit noticeable. She dipped her feet on the water "What made you come to San Junipero?". She adjusted her sunglasses over her head, hazel eyes looking over at the woman. " You said you weren't sure before. Are you visiting? "
