Hero's Interest Check

Welcome to my 1x1 interest check. Yes, as the tag suggested, I’m looking for romance but I am not against other genres being mixed in. I am over 18 (27) and prefer my partner be as well, especially for mature themes. Note: I am not the partner for you if you’re looking for a rape RP or BDSM RP. I can post a couple of paragraphs to over 12, depending on the mood I’m in. Typically I post about 2 paragraphs. I don’t have a posting requirement beyond no one liners. I’m hoping to have a somewhat active partner on the site. I can get busy in real life and understand when the same happens to my partner. Instead of plots I have characters I want to play (they lend themselves to particular plots). Pick a character you want to play with and we can come up with a plot from there. She has traveled extensively, seen ancient ruins and experienced various cultures that have given her a unique perspective on things. She has a tendency to end up in dangerous situations and has learned how to take care of herself and others. She's more than just the pretty face her parents wanted her to be but she doesn't quite know where she belongs yet. Only one person feels like home to her...

Background: Chris is an FBI Agent on a mandatory leave of absence, her partner for a long case was murdered right in front of her. She has spent the time at home with her family, helping her single dad raise her younger sisters. Unfortunately, the case she was working on might have followed her.

He’s funded expeditions in exchange for getting to go along, and a percentage of what they find of course. He’s aided humanitarian efforts in third world countries. Where will his next adventure take him?

Background: David is a mercenary and while technically for hire, he only works for people/causes he believes in. He has no family, he was raised as part of a discontinued program the United States government was running. He has a few close friends that he would trust with his life and is slow to trust others by nature. Once he’s your friend though you won’t have a fiercer ally. He has just returned from the Middle East, thwarting an assassination plot. He’s been offered another job that pays enough that he could be out of this line of work forever…something he thinks he might want to do. Who knows, maybe one day he can have the family he’s always wanted.
