Steps into the blank arena, slowly unsheathing my 5' katana and gripping my handle with two hands and readying myself.
"When you're ready, Austin. Step in"

Steps into the arena and notices Spektrom's weapon being draw and pulls my bow from off my back and begins to notch an arrow, keeping in mind the hookblade on my waist. "I think im ready."

Shrugs the roundshield off my back.
"Then let's begin."
Charges forward, the shield's upper edge right below my eyes. If you fire, I catch the arrow on the side of my shield as I twist to the side, but if you don't move, I roll forward, twisting the shield around to stay facing you, as I bring the sword up into an upward slash, aimed straight up the center.
"Pay attention to detail. Detail and grammar. Those are your first keys to fighting."

Pulls the arrow back noticing your lower body is a bit undefended and aims downward to your feet and fires, hoping to get a hit on some part of your leg.
"Im trying my best."

Brings the shield down to block the arrow, running to the side and using the shield as a pivot point, swinging my body around and bringing my feet up into your chest. As I drop, I hit the ground, sliding, bringing my shield around and swinging from right to left in a wide arc with both shield and sword, staying low and bring my shield back up onto my back in a turtle-like defensive manner and resting my sword's tip on the ground as i sit low to the ground.
"Very well thought-out. Make a point to think at least one step ahead. Don't trap yourself."

I take the hit, knocking the breath out of me, and get jolted backward but I swing back and land in a backflip. I stop to regain my breath and set my feet into a sprint position and bolt forward. I throw my bow to the ground midst the sprint and unsheathe my twin hookblades. I continue at you at an alarming rate and backwards corkscrew vault over you but before I land I grab the edge of your shield and attempt to pry it from your grasp using my body's momentum and weight.

I let the strap go and as you come down, I quickly swing my sword from left to right under the shield where your feet will be when you land, timing it so my sword will meet your ankle right after you hit ground. If you somehow dogde, I use the momentum to swing myself into a roll away and pop up. If it hits, I follow through, attempting to cut off both your feet.
