Now this idea could be set in either a fantasy world or a sci-fi world, I’m done for any so I will likely leave it to the preference of anyone that is interested and contacts me.

The Plot
I don’t have anything super detailed but the basic premise is that my character is a member of a dominant race (who they are is still up in the air though for a fantasy setting I was considering a type of Elf) who has conquered, killed and enslaved what is left of your characters race. Your character is the grand champion in the coliseum and has never known defeat, my character is the second prince who is also a bastard which is only known by a select few. In a fantasy setting his race would be very talented with magic and in a sci-fi setting they would be powerful psionics, my character is an exception and holds power greater than any other so he is being groomed to be his older brother’s weapon. The same brother who is next in line to rule. My character really doesn’t need guards but his power is another secret the family keep from the public, essentially I was planning on the mother being the only one to truly care for his well-being and beg her husband to assign a guard to his son. Can you see where this is going? =P After some convincing he agrees and brings your character out of the coliseum to be my character's personal guard, I was thinking that (as long as it fits your character and you’re alright with it) she is made to take some form of blood-oath with my character that forces her keep her word of protecting him. The blood-oath would be taken very seriously and breaking it would have been seen as blasphemous, perhaps she still holds onto her old traditions and beliefs.

And what happens from there is up to us though I imagine there to be political intrigue, our characters attempting to escape the clutches of my characters family, battles, betrayals, love, adventure, discovery and much more that my brain can’t conjure up at the moment.

On the topic of romance, I mainly ask that my partner is open to it though if they like it in their RP’s that’s even better! Considering the setting, it’ll be far from fluffy or light-hearted though I do love me some tender moments.

My Character
Though he has the potential to cause catastrophic damage he is treated like a tool, to be used at the whims of the royal family and due to his upbringing he knows no better than to follow orders and not think for himself. He is the Frail part of this RP’s title since he is smaller and weaker than almost all others in his race, he also has zero skill in any martial skills making him looked down upon. Though he isn’t that strong, he isn’t so weak that he can’t lift cutlery or climb or jump decent heights but if anyone arm wrestled him he’d very likely lose 100% of the time. I’m also very open and interested to see anyones ideas for potential magic that he could wield since I wanted it to be rather unique compared to the classics like fire, arcane etc.

Your Character
Your character is the Monstrous part of the title and I wanted to leave the specifics up to my partner but a few features I would like in her are: well, monstrous, large, bulky, aggressive, warrior at heart. If our characters were to stand side by side they would look like polar opposites but there would be certain aspects that align like wanting to escape my characters Empire. In the end the only detail I want to keep about your character is monstrous so feel free to go crazy otherwise. I was thinking of races like: Orcs, Trolls, Arachne, Oni, Giant, Ogre, Demon, even an Anthro of some kind. I hope you get the picture, even if you have other ideas don’t hesitate to speak to me about them. I’m pretty flexible with the plot!

Rules

• I consider myself a casual to high-casual, on occasion I can dip my toes into the advanced pool when the time calls for it or I am particularly motivated. So on average 300-500 words and I ask the same from my partner or at least there abouts.
• I certainly prefer good spelling and grammar but it's not a deciding factor for me in the end.
• I try my best to post once a week and more if possible, I will also notify my partner if I suddenly become busy or unable to post. I hope for the same in return!
• Communication IS key, let's talk and have fun yeah? If you're going to be busy or absent for a while please let me know and I'll show you the same courtesy. I'm fed up of people just vanishing, please don't just abandon me with not so much as a simple message. It means a lot to me. I’m just not going to deal with anyone who disappears anymore.
• This RP will contain mature themes so please be at least 18 years of age, the usual violence/gore, language, sex and other topics will likely crop up... some more than others. I'm not asking it to be mature content all the time but I just like to keep my options open. This is not a smut-centric RP even if we do include it so if that’s what you’re after this isn’t for you sorry.
• Let's both carry the weight of this plot and not let one of us do the heavy lifting, it's for the best!
