Hello, you can call me Fane! I'm 24 and I live in England. I have a fairly mundane job, so I like to escape into other worlds as often as I can. I've been a somewhat infrequent roleplayer over the years, but I was introduced to the phenomenon at age 13 on the Neopets message boards, of all places. I like to read, I play video games and I drink a lot of coffee. I also write when I'm inspired.
My main interest is Fantasy of all kinds and I'm also partial to a bit of SciFi every now and then. Though those are more of a general interest and I'm willing to dip my toe in most things. I'm hoping to brush up on my skills and become better at the actual act of roleplaying and maybe meet a few nice people along the way.
I'll probably browse/lurk for a while, and maybe join a casual roleplay if one takes my fancy. Hopefully once I'm familiar with the site, I can also start up some roleplays of my own invention. Nice to meet you all!
