CURRENTLY CLOSED TO NEW STORIES
So since I've pretty much started a ton of non-slice-of-life stories recently, and since slice-of-life used to be a favorite of mine, why not start a thread specifically looking for stories in this genre? (I'm fully aware I may be biting off more than I can chew in collecting roleplays, but why not? Okay, I'll stop...eventually.)
Anyway, here come the general rules:
--- I want someone who can write in detail, someone who can create engaging content, interest and immersion. Make the story come to life, if you will. I endeavor to make my posts just as entertaining and enthralling. Also, someone who knows the difference between your/you're and their/they're would be nice. I'm a multi-paragraph writer, so I expect the same of a partner.
--- I play male and female characters, but it would be great to play my own gender.
--- Romance is usually (always) a part of my slice-of-life stories, though it's usually a "slow burn" and not instant unless we've talked about it and it somehow fits in the plot (i.e. our characters had a prior relationship, etc.)
--- My work schedule sucks but I try to post at least once a week (usually it's once every few days if not once every day if I can help it). Still, I'm very understanding and I won't bitch if something keeps you away from RPG for a bit.
--- Mature content! Yes, this will contain mature content. Abuse, drug use/alcoholism, sex, whatever. We're trying to emulate the realities of life after all. Bring the angst, bring the drama, bring the grit, bring the little slivers of happiness in-between. And because of this, all stories will be conducted through PMs.
--- I love plot twists - planned or unplanned - as long as it fits the story. I'm probably going to come up with a few myself, though we'd most likely be working together on the story and its twists as we go along.
And here come the pairings:
- Celebrity x bodyguard
- Assassin x target
- Serviceman x civilian
- Musician x artist
- Abused x abused’s best friend
- City x country
- Criminal/ex-con x civilian
- CEO x personal assistant
- Rich x poor
- Ex-husband x ex-wife
- Runaway x loner in the wilderness

I also apologize for the general state of this thread - I'm literally five or so minutes away from leaving for work (ah, the joys of being an adult), so everything's a bit rough, and not all pairings in my head are listed, so feel free to suggest something or anything.
