Hey all. Been a while since I've tried a 1x1. Honestly, a lot of the common tags and themes in the section make it hard for me to find partners who are interested in the same style of RP as me. So I thought, hey, maybe I should just make a thread.

Anyone interested should initially PM me, and from there Discords can be exchanged. Anyway, let's cut to the chase.

About me

・I'm not interested in smut. Romance as a primary theme is not immediately appealling to me either. If characters naturally progress towards something, that's great, but I probably won't start a RP with that as it's main focus. I am very happy to follow a completely platonic story that focuses on friendship and camaraderie.

・Character development is usually a main theme of my RPs. I'd rather explore that then trying to rush an epic story - that can come in time.

・I like grit & realism. As such, I am only seeking mature writing partners. Gritty violence, language and other mature themes are all fine in my book. (Again, no smut, though.) I'd set a general 18+ suggestion, but I'm willing to tone things down in the right circumstances.

・In terms of realism, I value accuracy & detail. If it's historical, or a fandom, I want to depict it properly and it's important that the lore/world 'feels' like it should.

・OCs > canons. I much prefer being able to flesh out and explore my own character. There are some instances I'd consider a canon character for lore reasons (such as playing a historical character that has room for me to flesh out in my own way, or a superhero who's identity could be reworked.)

Rules/expectations

・I am very easy/flexible in terms of posting time. If you want to post every couple of days, fine. Once a week? Good for me. I have a job and a life and I'm not able to post every single day. As long as communication is kept, I'm good (either via PM or discord.)

・High-casual/advanced is my area. I value grammar and punctuation, and lengthy/detailed posts. That being said, if you have good ideas but struggle with grammar I'll still enjoy writing with you.

・I expect all guild rules to be followed, as always.

Ideas/interests
Ranging from green (very interested) to orange (potentially interested, given the right prompt.) I only really have ideas for fandoms rn, but if you have a suggestion that is similar to one of the universes below then I'm all ears.

I won't outline any full-on plot ideas here, just namedropping the fandoms, so PM me if any grab your attention.

・ASOAIF: This is a big one for me recently. I've been re-reading the books, and obviously watching GoT's latest season. There's so many different prompts and timeframes that I'd be interested in exploring. Two survivors of the Red Wedding left without a home? Targaryen rulers? Two knights in an old war? etc. I favour the book canon.

・Star Wars: Always up for this. I'm a big fan of KOTOR and the original trilogy. Open to hearing any ideas. Potential prompts could be fugitives during the Great Jedi Purge, smugglers making their way in an Empire-dominated galaxy, etc.

・LOST: I think the whole island lore is great. Whether it's following/rewriting the show's plot with OCs or maybe following members of DHARMA or the Others, I'd be pretty down for this.

・Halo: Been a while since I've explored this universe, and my knowledge only really extends up to Halo: Reach. The whole human-covenant conflict is very interesting to me, though.

・Harry Potter: Not too sure of this one, but I like the universe, so if there's an interesting enough prompt I'd be down.

・X-MEN: (Same as above ^.)

・Mass Effect: (Same as above ^.)
