A Novel Journey

"Lennox.. we mustn't do this." Her eyes trained on the prince before her. The moon shined brightly this particular night, the pale moonlight outlining her elegant and enchanting features. Lennox's head lowered, a glum cloud seemingly forming over his head. Her heart tightened at this scene. Was he heartbroken? Had his cold and distant exterior finally collapsed because of her? "I love you, I really do Lennox but I've been engaged to your brother. Our love cannot continue on." Hearing that his head swiftly lifted. She expected tears or some sort of tragic expression but the man who had just lifted his head was unfamiliar to her. Those eyes that were looking at her were ones of anger and desire. Those were not the eyes of the Lennox she knew.

"Lennox..?" The sound of her heels clicking against the marble floor as she away resounded throughout the hall. Suddenly the prince had grabbed her hands, pulling her close to him. It hurt. His grip was tight and uncomfortable. She wanted to break free oh so very badly. But it got even firmer once she tried to squirm away. "Roseya, you can never leave me, especially for my own brother. You are mine and mine alone!" Afraid was the only word that could describe how she was feeling in this moment. What was happening? Why was Lennox acting this way? Couldn't he understand that she had no choice in the matter too? He looked like a fierce animal that was angered his prey had been taken away, fangs bared and claws ready.

"I will kill all those who dare touch you even if it's my own blood brother." Those words told her all she needed to know. Lennox Lyncourt was a monster.

The Passionate Affairs Of Lady Roseya was a popular R18 novel published by an unknown author. It quickly gained fame with its heavy themes and detailed erotic pages. The main character Roseya Orbeye was an innocent and sweet girl beloved by those around her. But when her father Duke Orbeye is accused of treason against the crown and executed her entire life is thrown in disarray. Branded as a traitor's child, an ailing mother, and without a dime in her pockets, Roseya turned to her uncle for help. Unfortunately for her, this was only just the beginning of the start of a miserable nightmare.

Perhaps you were an avid reader of TPAOLR? Or maybe casually took skimmed through it? Either way, you were familiar with the novel enough to remember a few details. You had your own life you lived and would have never expected to be transported into the novel! Can you survive long enough to see the end of this story?

Information

What's this roleplay about?

This roleplay will be about players being transported into a book that at some point during their lives that they've read and taking over the bodies of characters in that world.

What's the plot?

Currently, I don't really have a solid plot per se. I'll be working with the players to create one. Basically think of this roleplay as a sandbox.

What's the setting?

The main story of The Passionate Affairs Of Lady Roseya takes place in the Grerien Empire on the continent of Obrun. It is a normal medieval world with nobles, commoners, monarchs, and carriages. The story was mainly told from Roseya's point of view and other locations besides the Empire were barely mentioned. Magic is something that's uncommon in the continent but not unseen. Most people are without magic especially those of the lower class. So those who are capable of using magic are sent to the capital and trained to be mages that fight for the Empire.

What can our characters be or what kind of roles can we have?

Mostly anything! Think of transmigration or isekai novels / mangas what type of characters do you usually see? Servant, noble, commoner, or even royalty. Characters that are royal can only be of the Grerien Empire, no foreign royals thank you very much. And I'll only be allowing like two royals as not overdo it. Though if you have an idea for a foreign royal character that can help boost the plot or add fun into the story then message me and we can talk it over. For the roles, your character could be an unnamed side character within the story or maybe even the main villainess or villain!

What about the original characters of TPAOLR?

This is where I'm a bit iffy. I honestly do not know what to do with the main original characters. I want to somehow include them in the roleplay yet I do not know how.

Who are the original characters of TPAOLR?

This one is rather easy. Roseya Orbeye, the main character of the original story. Lennox Lyncourt, the crown prince and first member of Roseya's harem. Ragan (No last name), a mysterious mage who torments Roseya into tears to no end and the second member of the harem. Adriyen Farcrest, Roseya's obsessive childhood best friend and last member of the harem. Other original characters may be added as the roleplay progresses but these are the only four right now.

Rules

RULE ONE.

If you want to add things to the original novel I'm perfectly fine with that as this is sort of a sandbox style roleplay! Just go over it with me and make sure the other players are fine with it. Also, make sure it fits in with the setting.

RULE TWO.

Be kind towards around players, your character could be a jerk but that doesn't mean you have to be one too!

RULE THREE.

Please don't go ahead and make your character overpowered or control other player's actions. It's not fair and just isn't fun.

RULE FOUR.

Keep in mind the setting and time of the roleplay! Just because your characters have been transported to a medieval world doesn't mean they can carelessly go around and do or mention modern things. They'll be branded insane.

That's everything for now! Also, I am possibly looking for another person to manage the roleplay so please message me if interested. I hope to see you in the world of A Novel Journey!
