The Age of Shattering has passed, and the Age of Duskborn has begun. When heroic tarnished were summoned from beyond the fog wall by the gift of grace to restore balance to the Lands Between, one was to become the Elden Lord. By that of a miracle, a tarnished was able to collect the great runes from Queen Marika's children and restore the Elden Ring. However, under the guidance of Fia the Deathbed companion, the tarnished was swayed to add underlying designs to the ring. Death was the initial intention but, undeath became a design of the Golden Order. The Age of Duskborn was signaled by a coating of Fog that blanketed the Lands Between and this is when chaos erupted. From the fog came the strength of undeath, a black and treacherous mass that infected those that lived. Similar to the Scarlet Rot it infected, destroyed, and fundamentally changed anything it touched-- eventually this undeath infection would cover the continent. Luckily mortals have a fickle way of fighting against despair, and the remnants of the Golden Order; those who proclaimed the original ideologies honed incantations of flame and the light and fought against undeath. The war against the Hollowed Lord would begin and in the midst of this war, a mysterious cloaked maiden would come to gather a group of tarnished.

World Lore

(I will do my best condensing the lore of Elden Ring, but if there is any specification that is needed the Wikia is always available but do remember to ask before implementing it as fact. The lore in this roleplay can vary from lore in the actual game. This is due to the vagueness of the game's lore and canon can shift quite frequently lololol. On an extra note, I am working a document for this section)
