My name is Megs, and I'm a 22 year old student (currently taking a break for a year!) who's looking to get back into roleplay! As a little bit of background about me and my writing experience - I have been roleplaying for over a decade now, although I took a lengthy break once I began college to focus on my education. I would consider myself semi-advanced to advanced, although definitely a bit rusty, and I'm really looking forward to getting back into roleplay and exploring some plots with everyone!
What am I looking for?
I'm looking to roleplay with someone who is willing to put a bit of time and effort into their responses, but that will hopefully be understanding if I can't reply every day due to life getting in the way! My preference is to play female characters, as that's my own gender, but I'm happy to double up on characters if that's something needed, and any LGBT+ relationships are more than fine for me to do! I do like to have romance in my roleplays, although I much prefer a slow burn, and I typically don't like for these to be the center of the plot unless it's a really interesting dynamic.
In terms of genre/setting, I'm very flexible with this! I typically prefer to have some sort of supernatural or fantasy element to my plots, but if you have an idea for a slice of life that you've been itching to do, please do hit me with it! I like to plot out a story or world before I get into the actual writing, so if you have any ideas in mind, definitely message me and we can work out something we both enjoy! Like anyone, I do have a couple of dealbreakers - here is a list of those below!
- Furry/animal roleplay - humanoid is a must for me!
- Characters below the age of 20 - this does unfortunately mean no high-school settings although I'm definitely up for older university students!
- Pure romance/smut with very little else - I need a plot with elements other than these two things, although I'm more than happy to integrate them in without them being a focal point!
- Fandom characters - I'm more than happy to do a plot set in a pre-existing universe, but unless it's a character I know and love deeply, I'm really not up for playing as any fandom characters, and would generally prefer for both of us to play original characters!
Other than that, I tend to be up for pretty much anything, so don't be afraid to reach out!
Settings I'd love to do?
There's definitely a few settings that I would absolutely love to build a plot within, so please please please feel free to reach out if any of these interest you at all!
- Superheroes (DC Universe specifically) - This is very much inspired by me recently playing Gotham Knights and loving the interactions between the Bat-fam. I would love to create a dynamic duo of our own, or even some sort of hero/villain plot. This one I'm dying to do!
- Post-Apocalyptic - Post-apocalyptic settings always interest me, and I have a few ideas for settings that I would love to do, so I'm more than happy to build on some ideas for this.
- Supernatural Creatures - Vampires, werewolves, demons - you name it, I'm probably into it!
With all that said and done, please don't hesitate to respond to this post or shoot me a DM if you're interested at all in plotting something!
