Hello and welcome! Before you stands my (hopefully well-organized!) request thread! I'll list everything from general information about me and my writing preferences, to suggestions, preferred settings and even some plot ideas. So sink your teeth in here and then send me a message, if any of this catches your eye!
And that should be it! I hope we can greet, chat and plan with what has been given here so far. I'll keep this thread open for any approaches, so either message me here, or contact me in PMs. See you out there!
Some basic stuff about me as a person! Mainly schedule/availability information, what I'm usually after, the sort.
-> I'm a (fairly recently) graduated History teacher, currently working on a Master's project to proceed with my education!
-> I have been writing for well over 12 years now, and roleplaying for around 11 years. Fairly experienced, I'd argue, but not arrogant about it at all!
-> In the same vein, I will divulge that I am ESL (English as Second Language). Even with years of writing under my belt, sometimes my wording slips and seems awkward or just plain wrong. I'll do my best to avoid it, nonetheless! Plus, don't be afraid to correct me, I'm all for learning.
-> My timezone is GMT -03. On the same subject, I am fairly available, but often working on my thesis or tutoring, so reply times can vary!
-> Very, very much approachable. Don't be intimidated at all! Usually I'm more intimidated by you than you can ever be intimidated by me. Plus, I'll always try to be as communicative as possible.
-> I see that the site allows for adult content; in that regard, while I am usually not against it, I will scarcely (if ever) make anything explicit/sexual take precedence over actual story writing and such. Plus, while I'm open (but squeamish) to writing with minors, any and all reference to sexual content will get ya ignored. Be warned!

Now, to the meat of the question. Who am I as a writer? All you need to do is read - just a little bit, I promise!
-> Worldbuilding is the name of the game with me. Yes, even in fandoms! I love to think up magic systems, governments, political landscapes and, in general, the history of the world.
-> Alternatively, I am always invested in character creation. Expect me to be super excited to see what you've thought up!
-> In terms of smut, as said before, I'm not opposed to it, but I will bail if it consumes the entire roleplay.
-> Piggybacking on the last question, do know that, given that this site allows teenagers, it's best if you let me know about it first - I hold the right to refuse you, and at best, keep the roleplay smut-free at all costs! No weirdo behavior allowed here.
-> In terms of what characters I play, just about any! From males to females to enbies to trans folk and everyone in between, I usually go with my partner's preference and what I'm feeling at the moment. This thread will contain a brief teaser to my more developed OCs, anyway, so feel free to check it out further below!
-> Fandom play is fun! But I'll need some convincing before I play actual canons, so always ask me first. I've always been more of a OC player.

A comprehensive list for my preferred settings and genres!
-> Fantasy: Can be easily dismissed as generic, but I like to digress! More often than not I like to go beyond just dragons, monsters and magic; the subgenres such as Low Fantasy and Dark Fantasy always catch my eye, and a good plot in a more traditional Fantasy sense will almost always enrapture me. I'm just iffy on Modern Fantasy, but nothing is set in stone!
-> Sci-Fi: Likely where my preferences stand out the most! While I'm not against it in the traditional sense (huge Star Wars fan here), I tend to gravitate toward its 'punk' subgenres. Cyberpunk, Steampunk, the sort-- ask me about it!
-> Historical: If you've been paying attention so far, this mustn't come as a surprise. Though, mind, I won't be a stickler for total accuracy; I hate to be the 'um, acktshually' person despite having a degree in the subject! Plus, Historical fiction/Alt History have been interests as of late, so feel free to suggest it.
-> Post-apocalyptic: Woo wee, what a classic! And a bit of an overdone subject. While I'm not against it, you'll fare better if you propose something different than your run of the mill Zombie Apocalypse... though I am known to enjoy it from time to time!
-> Modern: Now, don't get me wrong, I just find... regular slice of life to be a hard sell with me. Again, don't mind it with some spice!
-> Cosmic Horror: While I enjoy horror as a whole, cosmic (i.e. something you'd see written by Lovecraft or featured in Fallen London) is usually my favorite. Beasts from the beyond! Forbidden and mind-searing knowledge! Widespread occultism! Yes sir, fifty more plates, if you will.

Characters, you may ask? Yes, indeed, I got them for you! I will eventually make a compendium/list linking them to proper sheets, but, for now, bear with some basic introductions! Some are more concepts than fully fledged ideas, so if you want more information, do ask! Fandom OCs'll come all the way at the bottom.
-> Cyberpunk Mercenary gone rogue. Katashi Hanzo, Japanese-Korean national who, after falling out with his old employer, has set out on a personal crusade against the ruling mega-corporations... which, if he is not careful, will put more than just his health on the line the longer it drags on for.
-> Cyberpunk Terrorist looking to make the world burn. Lihn Doan, Vietnamese national decked out with claw prosthetics and built-in arm flamers. After a megacorp almost ruined her country, she sets out in a quasi-suicidal campaign of eco-terrorism - they've burnt her home, now it's time for them to feel the lick of the flames.
-> Cyberpunk Yakuza Captain staking her claim in the city. Akane Fujiwara, Japanese national who just experienced a meteoric rise within her Yakuza clan. Specializing in red light activities and weapons trade, she has just solidified her claim in her neighborhood, and now sets her eyes on the horizon with brand new strategies that are bound to upset the traditional high command of Neo-Tokyo's criminal underbelly.
-> Medieval Hedge Knight spreading the teachings of folk Christianity. Alain, once a simple peasant, took up arms and took his work to the roads when he became acquainted with the martyrdom of Saint Guinefort, a valorous dog who, despite being wrongfully slain by its master, did his duty to the very end. Inspired by the dog's innocence and pure sacrifice, he roams Europe and its countryside in search of enlightenment, justice and the essence of faith.
-> Fantasy Knight-Maiden destined to martyrdom. Once a devout follower of the faith, Arabella finds herself contending with the harsh truth that awaits the martyr-maidens of her culture: utter obliteration of the soul in the beyond. Stricken with this terrible revelation, she now flees what she thought to be a blessed destiny, with her old mentors and believers in hot pursuit.
-> 1920s Paranormal Investigator contending with a New York full of occultism. Born in Wales, Darcy Llewelyn (Now Darcy Leonel) experienced the horrors of WW1... and stepped out of it with knowledge of the world beyond what the eyes can see. Now in New York, he has his own shop, Odd Inquiries, acting as both a PI and a paranormal investigator (which still works within that acronym! Ha!).
-> Modern day Russian Arms Dealer and Gunsmith. Valeriy, born in the twilight years of the USSR, finds himself in the United States, chasing the ghost of the American Dream as he sinks deeper and deeper in the criminal underworld of New York as both an arms dealer and a gunsmith for the Russian mafia.
And now, for fandoms...
-> From a Galaxy Far, Far Away hails a Sith Lord. Alarif, in the times of the Old Republic, rises as a contender against both the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, wielding the Dark Side and his own ideology to forge a new path in the Galaxy. (Star Wars)
-> From Australia's mad, mad wastes, a War Boy yearns for another life. Clutchbox, a Blackthumb (See: a mechanic) under Immortan Joe's legions of crazed and suicidal War Boys, wants more out of life than dying 'chrome and shiny' on his way to Valhalla. But before he can even begin to entertain such lofty dreams, he needs a way out - and to contend with his old comrades, his kitbashed ride and his prosthetic, hand-made leg. (Mad Max, more specifically Fury Road)
-> Captain Hallewell brings Fallen London's navy some dignity after its fall. In the Neath, the land beneath the surface, the Unterzee stretches far and wide, dark and frightful but full of opportunity. Hallewell, a veteran from the time London tried to fight Hell's kidnapping of the city to the Neath, now sails those mysterious waters, seeking riches, secrets, and perhaps just a bit of pride to her once proud nation. (Fallen London/Sunless Sea)
-> A Devil Hunter joins the fight against the devil threat, he himself caught in a rough contract. Cristóbal, or Chris for Americans, is a Chilean native who, after contracting with the Knife Devil, moves to Japan at his contractor's behest: he knows not what the beast desires, only that terrible consequences await if he refuses. (Chainsaw Man)
-> A Skitarius Ranger from the Legio Cybernetica. Themerene's borderline heretical curiosity for xenos artifacts and long-lost technologies makes him both a headache for his superiors and a prime candidate for the retinues of Rogue Traders and flexible Inquisitors. A curious, but utterly loyal ranger, with crackshot aim and a knack for repairing his belongings by his own hand. (Warhammer 40k).

Finally putting something in here! They're mainly old, old ideas of mine that I mix and match as I go.
-> The Cataclysmic Scandal: Koralia has long since been ravaged by magic. Ever since its unification, the proud kingdom struggled between incursions from the beyond, wich-kings and all manner of magical madness. In the latest stretch of tragedies, the kingdom found its stability... at the cost of its magic-wielding population, who was executed, forcibly displaced or made to live under absolute secrecy lest they be caught in the subsequent, religion-fuelled pogroms. Despite the harshness of the decision, the realm has known relative peace (while deeply straining its relationship with its neighbors and the arcane institutions of the world) for decades... up until the birth of the royal family's heir. Bearing not only the capability to wield magic, but also a mark that has been prophesized to bring about a new age of the arcane, the birth causes a panic among the royals, who do everything in their power to hide the child and their capabilities from their religious allies. Their efforts are successful up until the heir reaches maturity, leading to an incident that, while swiftly swept under the rug, has nonetheless aroused the suspicion of the church. In a desperate attempt to either suppress or outright eliminate the power brimming within the heir, the crown hires the help of an outcast mage, both for their unorthodox methods and lack of connections to the arcane community. And yet, upon meeting with the heir, they may just stray from their intended task once they lay eyes upon the boundless potential itching to be released from the royal.
-> A Realm on the Edge: In a world where the occult and the supernatural have been largely subdued or forced into extinction, there are but a few places where those rooted in the arcane still roam free with their unbridled nature, be they man, beast or anything in between. One such kingdom is Rostaya, the latest to consolidate its lands and conquer the 'savages', where chiefdoms, isolated hermits and pockets of magical beasts and phenomena resist against the march of civilization. From those conquered communities rises a bright young mercenary, leading a band of sellswords who make their name and fame through bandit hunting and taking on menial, simpler tasks for the lords of Rostaya. Alas, tales of their proficiency soon reaches the ear of the Grand Prince, who is interested in hiring the mercenary band to finish the conquest of the 'savages' and turn their eyes eastward, toward richer and more plentiful lands. What was meant to be a productive partnership becomes strained as the mercenary leader grows popular among the smallfolk, all while visions and old whispers start to claim the mind of the emergent strategist, foretelling a return of the wild.
-> The Future of Compliance: In the dark, neon-soaked future, capitalism reigns supreme as mega-corporations rule entire states, subdue governments and engage in shadow wars against one another for the top spot. And yet, unrest endures as the masses toil and die under their corporate yoke, with many not even seeing a grain of the technological advance those companies have developed. With that in mind, the megacorp Shiroi-Shika comes up with a top-secret and immensely mysterious program to, once and for all, eliminate any and all manner of non-compliance. Despite their efforts, however, a minor information leak puts the knowledge of the program out on the information network. Now, rival companies, job fixers and even underground groups scramble to assemble their efforts and start the search for the root of this sinister new plot.
I also have a few more basic/generic ideas, somewhat similar to my settings/genres, but with a bit more meat to them:
-> A wild, wild west. Gunslinging meets the occult and the supernatural in a yet to be tamed land that refuses to lay down and die for the marching Manifest Destiny. Folkloric tales come to life, the undead, and even devils from below clash with a West that won't be the same for long.
-> A space-bound humanity seeks its survival in the stars. With Earth's resources dwindling and the planet rapidly approaching its environmental collapse, a humankind that is still a fledgling in the galactic community becomes semi-nomadic, sending forth colony-ships to analyze unclaimed planets to find a new home among the stars. Amid detractors within its own bosom that want to save Earth instead and members of the galactic community that are less than happy to allow humans to navigate the stars freely, the discovery of an extremely promising planet spells salvation for a colony-ship - a planet which contains a secret yet to be uncovered.
-> The New Cangaço. As global warming continues to threaten the already struggling Brazilian northeast, the water crisis reaches a breaking point when the destitute start to take up arms and flock to charismatic, if savage leaders, raiding large farming estates and disrupting the multi-billion dollar agronomic businesses in the region. Inspired by the legend of Lampião, they set out to bring back the 'Cangaço' and its 'social banditry', all while the authorities enlist brutal and more intricate methods to bring them to a bloody end.
-> Street Racing...? Illegal, underground street racing leagues have always been common, but one city's very own racing community is turned on its head as a criminal family takes interest in the sport, both to launder money and cash in on its somewhat lucrative earnings. On the flipside, a racing veteran organizes an urban racing festival as a means to officialize the hobby, further dividing the community among those who see no issue with making more money illegally, those who push for an official, if corporate status, and the few purists who want it to remain as an underground movement, free of labels and 'clean' makeovers.
